We've been patronizing this location for a while. I never noticed the sanitation concerns, until now. Upon entering, an employee greets you and begins to put on gloves. Great! I make my transaction and return to my vehicle which is parked outside of the pretzel prep and bake area. I can clearly observe an ungloved employee handling dough. As he's waiting for pretzels to come out of the oven he repeatedly rolls what looks like a pizza cutter over his bare hand. The same pizza cutter he uses for pretzels. DISGUSTING! He puts yellow gloves on to remove pretzels from the oven, otherwise, his hands are bare. He also bites his nails and wipes his hands in his pants while preparing pretzels. He isn't even wearing an apron. YUCK! I'm disgusted & disappointed.

New owners within the last several months have vastly improved this store. Nice friendly service and great pretzels.

Only complaint is that the cheese sauce is awful, and I love an occasional side of fake processed cheese.

The first time was a bit of a mess. Orders were slow coming out, customers were confused on if their orders were ready because they didn't really call them out, and the fries we got were limp (pictured) and they didn't fill up the basket AND skimped on the toppings. They were also unsalted but they provided a communal salt shaker where the napkins, utensils, and ketchup were so that was interesting. We went again and this time, they were more efficient and did make an effort to call out your order. The fries also held up better and were even crispy on the exteriors even though there was a slight wait between my two items. I also felt like there was an adequate amount of toppings and fries. There was no communal salt shaker and the condiment/napkin area was a bit of a mess and running low on items, but it was fixed when I notified them so that's good. Both times, we ordered: LARGE FRIES: it's a basket of fries around $8. REGULAR VEGGIE FRIES: this is their medium container of fries topped with cheese sauce, sour cream, and diced tomatoes. They also come with green onions but I opted out of that. It's a good combination of flavors and fancier than just fries with a hint of "veggies". It's close to $10. Overall, a good place for us - we're allium free vegetarians - to get a savory snack in the mail. Service seems to be all over the place and no matter the quality, no one seems happy about their job, haha. The fries do cost a bit more than at your typical fast food joint, but they're open 7 days a week. One of my kids has multiple food allergies and the fries here are gluten free and fried in sunflower oil. We usually go to Chick-fil-A for fries but we seem to only go to the mall on Sundays so NY Fries got on our radar. He is allergic to wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and avocado (among other things) and he can have the fries here with no issues so we'll continue to support them.

I wanted a 2- piece combo deal made from a breast and wing, regular spice. I found out immediately that those chicken parts were never on the menu, but the only choices were legs and thighs. The white meat was only available for sandwiches. That was disappointing. So I defaulted to a Chicken Deluxe Sandwich Combo (lettuce, tomato, fries, soft drink & Mango Peach Pie), on what appeared to be something like a Martin Potato Roll. It was a solid clucker sammy; good size fillet, semi crisp coating, simple mayo-based house sauce - but not comparable to the much larger, crisper Popeye's version; not to mention that the Pop-I store also sold all pieces of chicken separately and in combination. I didn't have to compromise. The fries are thinner than most fast food shops , but had good crunch and saltiness. The tropical juice collection is unique and the most distinct and flavorful part of the Jollibee's menu. I can't speak to their noodle offerings as I haven't tried them yet. I enjoyed the Mango Peach Pie (deep fried wrap), and their freebee special that I lucked into. Sweet and crisp like a dessert egg roll. This shop appears to be a favorite of the local Pinoy community which adds a nice cultural touch to the ambiance here. 3.5 Southeast Asian Stars. They do not greet you or thank you for your purchases and the time being here. Ambiance: There was no music playing and you can just hear other customers talking with their friends and family. The tables were dirty as if no one had cleaned them all day. There were garbage and crumbs all over the floor. The garbage cans were overflowed with garbage. The chicken sandwich tasted just ok and like any other restaurant. The fries tasted like normal fries. The fried chicken was ok and tasted better with the gravy. The peach mango pie was delicious and probably the best part of the meal. The pineapple quencher was too watered down. Overall: I might come back here if they fixed their service, had a cleaner dining area and when the food tastes a little better. It is definitely not worth the effort to drive out of the way to get this type of food.

I think that Checkers is the only other mainstream franchise fast food restaurant with hotdogs and a drive thru. I can't recall even one of the sporadically placed Nathan's (hotdogs are their specialty for those who don't know) that has a drive thru. The cheesesteak is pretty good and their specialty drinks are works of art. Their new offerings have to be sampled and then- to each his/her own. For instance, their version of the smash burger has grown on me. I love snashburgers but their burger is just almost delicious. I've tried it several times to see if I can acclimate my palate to their version. Admittedly, I am close to enjoying it. Not sure whether it's my tastebuds or their sandwich, but they sent me a coupon to try one for a dollar. That was my third sampling and honestly that burger seemed to have an improved flavor. Who knows but I was hungry and grateful to find that surprise discount in my app. I felt like my opinion was for sale but the darn burger hit the spot. They excel in service as well. Thank you Sonic.
