That said, someone had managed to spill something sticky over the stationery section, which made it a bit of a pain to handle items there. I was able to ask for a discount on a boxed set since components listed on the packaging were missing. There is a sizable fitness section towards the middle of the store, if you're looking to bulk up your home gym or practice (pun intended). Generally speaking, TJ Maxx/clothes/beauty is on the left when you enter and HomeGoods/decor/furniture is on the right. It's a combined line though, and I don't know why but it's the most brightly lit I've ever seen a checkout. Overall would give 4 for selection, but would rank a 3 on condition based on what I mentioned before.

Know what the numbers mean on the tags to avoid clothes made for TJ max and find the discounts on real brand deals. This place does have some great deals if you can avoid the distractions. They have a ton of purses and luggage too if you have time to dig. The home goods section is huge too! It is over filled so you do have to be cautious and avoid breaking stuff. Make sure all items are in tact before leaving. Overall same as any other location. The line can get long. Even when they have a lot of staff you'll wait 15-30 minutes to check out, avoid lunch time to shop if you're in a rush. I've found some good stuff here, I like to shop for little gifts for people and I'll definitely be back.

We told them we understand they have a job to do but following me and my young children and taking pictures is HIGHLY unprofessional. Stay away from this location. There were two additional staff members at the front registers, but instead of helping with the long line, they were putting away clothes while customers continued to wait. I ended up standing in line for 45 minutes, and there was no sense of urgency from the staff despite how long the line had become. This level of service is unacceptable, especially during busy times. That's not just bad customer service; that's management actively choosing to lose sales. At this point, customer service here isn't understaffed -- it's nonexistent. If customers can't get help, can't reach anyone by phone, and can't even find a manager, what exactly is management managing? Whatever strategy is happening here clearly isn't working, because customers are being left to wander the store until they give up and leave.

Waited in line for 30 minutes and I'm not joking, the cashier is slow and rude. So she also told me that I was next in line to the cashier next to her, only problem, she only announced it secretly to the cashier and didn't tell the customer. I had to speak up and tell the customer behind her that I was next in line. I don't work here, the original cashier should have established that I was next in line, it's not some secret. So I yelled at her that she needed to tell the customer and the cashier instead of just telling me I had to wait for the other cashier. I was about to leave the store, this idiot just took the next customer and the other cashier took her next customer while I had to wait standing there telling the cashier that I was next in line. These morons play it off like it's normal behavior, so I took a picture of the cashier who originally screwed up, and she suddenly spoke English and got upset with me. She clearly wasn't going to get my phone, but she tried to. Either way, the cashier sucks, she takes forever to do a simple job designed for teenagers. Also, nobody assists you here, nobody cares about their jobs here. When you buy a lamp you have to go to another area to find the light bulbs for it. Plus the parking lot sucks, people hit your car with their doors. If you complain they don't review the cameras, they don't want to be liable for it. This place is garbage. Shop somewhere else.

First thing coming in the security guard tells us we have only 15 mins. 30 secs after that, a guy goes on the intercom and tells everybody the store is closing in 5 mins?!? 5 mins goes by and he tells everyone that the store is now closed and everyone needs to checkout and leave. This location really needs to get their staff on the same schedule here and not make up false closing times. If you guys don't really want to work and want everyone out of the store, just change your closing time to 10:30. Look at every other chain department store. When it's closing time, they make an announcement beforehand and when they actually close, but they don't start pushing people out way before then. Tustin Market Place is way better. They don't aggressively push people out and the security guard there is nice and friendly.
