Most of the time I go in with no particular need or expectation and end up leaving with lots of small things that solve issues I didn't even realize I had, and this trip was no exception. :P The selection is good at this location as it's a good size. For the most part they all have their standard items, but I do feel like there's some randomization as well as each location has me finding things I didn't see previously. Always pleased with the selection. The service is consistently friendly, and they're always working hard to keep the lines moving. I happen to be in the plaza where this Daiso was and just wanted to check it out. Large store and very well-stocked with all the stationery, cleaning, storage bins, and all the cute knick knacks. Most items are $2.25, with other items marked with different prices. Oh, and if you want Japanese snacks, there's one full aisle of just snacks everywhere. Very clean and well organized store. The service is great and they do their best to help you with pricing. The pricing is little bot weird. It's all about memorizing the tags and in every section they did break the prices. I wish they had a tag for price. The store is huge with a great selection of everything. Daiso is one of my favorite store. Back in days, most of their items were from Japan but right now you'll see so many stuffs from China. Make sure to read the description in back. Sometimes are li bit priced high and you can find them much cheaper in asian store so be careful with prices when you are paying! Plenty of parking outside and wheelchair accessible! read more

I was in awe of how large this Daiso was compared to other Daisos nearby. What I really love is the huge selection of gifting supplies and stationery items. Not a fan of the area because over the years it's become a bit janky, but hopefully it doesn't get worse. I recently bought some cute washi tape, several reusable bags with cool designs on them, a bathroom squeegee, Hi-Chews, and different types of socks. As you can see, Daiso offers a plethora of household products, most of which can be used daily. Their stuff is usually good quality, unlike other discount stores. Lots that are simple and minimalist, which I like. I also noticed that they'll label products with "warning" stickers if there's something of concern with them, so the transparency is always appreciated. What I also feel is minimal is the staffing, but they'll usually have one person at the front and maybe one other person stocking the store. They're not super friendly here, but at least service is fast. At pretty affordable prices, they're definitely a great bang for your buck. It's always fun just browsing through any Daiso, really. I love Daiso for their affordable stuff especially the cute and mega variety of stationery. I like to journal and an avid planner. Their theme are so perfect with the Kawaii theme when I journal. Even the household stuff and gadgets that you think you don't need,... if you are in Daiso you will need it. One thing that i really love also the different kind of socks. I have a specific socks that i wear due to my diabetic poor circulation, and can only wear Daiso socks, so I have always bought 5-10 socks loose elastic cuffs that will last me years. Covid 19- face mask required! Hours have extended to earlier! Its kind of in a janky plaza and this daisos more like typical daiso setup vs the irvine one. The plaza does have a lot of parking space though! However, this daiso has a lot more hidden gems! They have 3d lashes, hair nets ( to cover your hairbrush), more bullet journeying supplies and nano blocks but food style! The line can get long but service is prompt. Pretty similar to other Daisos I've been to around OC. Very clean and tidy. I was looking for specific kitchen items like a splatter guard to put on top of my frying pans and I was also looking for wide, deep mixing bowls. They didn't have either but when I asked one of the more helpful employees, he informed me that they'd be getting more inventory soon. So that made sense. I'm taking off one star due to the bad experience we had with this male Asian kid today Sat, Aug 13 at around 1pm. From the moment we walked in, he looked at us and seem so unbothered. He didn't welcome us in, he didn't smile. Matter of fact, we had caught him in the middle of throwing something at a fellow female coworker of his. It didn't seem like he was doing anything useful, whereas the other guy who helped me answer my question about the splatter guard, seemed way more useful; we kept seeing him restocking and reorganizing stuff. Unfortunately, we got that same Asian kid as our cashier too. When we came up to the register, he didn't greet us, all he said was "everything in that basket?" We just said yeah and he proceeded to snatch the basket from my girlfriend before she even got to put it down on the counter. We told him that we had brought our own bags and that they were at the bottom of the basket, he just said "okay" and didn't bother trying to help us put the items in our own bags. He also wasn't very careful with the ceramic bowls we had; just hastily kept slapping them onto the counter after he scanned each one. He made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The next time we come back here, we're definitely going to be asking for someone else to help us. read more

5 stars simply because out of all the Daiso's I have ever been to, this is the only one that ever had a foot stool for purchase!! This Daiso location is tucked away in Tustin next to Big 5 and a couple other shops. Though you'll see relatively similar products in every Daiso, this one seemed to have more than the regular bunch. The staff here was super friendly and the store was really clean and organized. Since I went at night it wasn't full of messy children running around which I appreciated. Wow this is one of the largest and most spacious Daiso's I've been to. Aisles aren't uncomfortably compacted, items all neat and well organized, and no crowd! Nothing like the cramped jam-packed Daiso's in the 626. This Daiso also has the largest selection of makeup and beauty products I've ever seen. An entire aisle! Nail polish, eyeliner, fake eyelashes, etc. Granted, the quality probably isn't amazing since everything in the store is $1.50 unless marked otherwise. I wouldn't trust makeup as cheap as $1.50! Like all other Daiso's, they sell a variety of random household paraphernalia such as dishware, boxes/containers, gifts, office/school supplies, stationary, hair accessories, and other cute things. I know daiso sales all final. But, I researched online to ask if I can exchange because the item they sell just simply doesn't work. Gave it a try calling them before coming back. The guy picked up said if the item doesn't work, then we can exchange. So I thought ok thats fair. Came back to the store. Then the cashier (differ guy I assume) said all sales final. Then I explained the situation. Not only the item doesn't work but also I called and was told I can exchange not return. The cashier said no you can't exchange. I said can you ask the manager. He said they're not there. He can't call because he only works by himself. I guess he won't be able to go to the bathroom? With everything happening in the world, I guess it's too much to ask for fairness and common sense. This store is cool. It's like an Asian version of the 99 cent store. You might call it the 100 Yen store lol. I've been to a couple locations but this one is better. It's larger and has more items. I like that the store is very clean, the employees are friendly, and the Asian music is a nice change. I love tea, and they have several Green Teas. They also have a huge selection of Asian snacks that I have yet to try. When I need my fix of Green Tea I come here. read more

This store is a bit smaller than the Culver location in Irvine. Love Daiso!! This store is almost sparkling clean with someone assigned to cleaning the store at seemingly all times. Large aisles are great as I took my friend a couple of times and she's in a wheelchair. She told me that the Friendly staff asked if she needed assistance for a top shelf item before she even had to ask. Most items are only $1.50 but even the items that are more are reasonable and exceptional quality. My most recent purchase included a pizza cutter for $1.50 and it cut better then the one I bought my mom last year from another store that had cost my $14.00!! I love going to this store. it has many unique products. Unfortunately today's experience was less that fun. i asked about a product they only had a few, wondering if they had more. The behind the counter, Chris seemed to be annoyed with me asking. Also everything in the store is no longer 1.50. When i commented about it, his answer was in a very condescending tone. It's a Daiso with all the $1.50 merchandise they are known for. They have pretty much the same stuff as the other branches in Southern California we have been to, just with a different layout and white paint job on the walls as opposed to the pink one they have in the Irvine branch. There was almost no one here at the time of our visit, even in the parking lot. It was so quiet inside the store too. The cashier was nice too. The transaction was conducted appropriately. Like other branches, there's a $10 minimum for credit card. And like they stamp on the receipt, no exchanges, no refunds! read more
