We rented from Gypsy Canoe (see my review). Until we get more experience, we'll continue to rent from Gypsy. The Kayak Park has a few rapids for exposure. You can actually roll if you don't maneuver in the Dwight section if it. The good news is the water is fairly calm so there's no scary current to drag and keep you under. But there is a dock ramp which is open yearly that you can use for personal kayaks or paddle boards. I would definitely recommend coming back in March if you want to rent. Super easy and convenient. Dress to get wet, depending on how you paddle lol. Water sprays and drips from paddles. Also wind sprays the water. So shorts, water shoes or flip flops would be great.

We camped for 2 nights and recommend site 15, or the 3 spots closest to the river. But what the absolute best part was getting to watch Siloam Springs' 4th of July fireworks from the parking lot at the camp. We recently stayed at Eagle Bluff Resort and overall had a great time. The campground itself was…read morevery clean and easy to get to, which we really appreciated. The bus driver for our float trip was fantastic--she explained the rules clearly and made the ride smooth and fun. The one downside of our trip was our experience at the check-in desk. The staff member we dealt with seemed very flustered and came across as a bit rude. My grandmother was especially taken aback by her attitude. She told us she didn't want to check us in because not everyone in our party had arrived yet (even though only some of us were camping), and kept telling us to "move to the side" even though we already were. The interaction gave us bad vibes and made the start of our morning feel stressful. We also weren't sure about the wristband policy--we thought we needed them, but there were no guards at the stand, which added to the confusion. Other than that, we had an amazing float trip and a fun camping experience. If the front desk staff were a little more welcoming and better prepared to handle groups, this would easily have been a 5-star trip.
