Great experience. A…read morefew weeks ago we used all American for a float trip. They made us wait over 3 hours in the parking lot before we got bussed down (even with a reservation). When we finally get to the water, they had 0 of the rafts we reserved on the trailer and refused to bring more. Ended up having to pull 2 out of the woods we found and another company gave us an extra they had with a hole in the bottom. Falcon floats got us on the bus in less than 5 minutes. Rafts we're high quality and there were absolutely 0 hiccups!

We rented from Gypsy Canoe (see my review). Until we get more experience, we'll continue to rent from Gypsy. The Kayak Park has a few rapids for exposure. You can actually roll if you don't maneuver in the Dwight section if it. The good news is the water is fairly calm so there's no scary current to drag and keep you under. I went my my 9 year old and next time we are bringing the dog!

My time a slot was 1pm so I got there 15min til 1. Parking was a challenge since it was a busy weekend but I found a spot. Checked in at the office - they have a little shop in case you need last minute items for the trip. Waited for the bus underneath a big shade tree. There's ONE tree swing which I snagged immediately - made waiting for the bus breeze by. Especially great having shade sitting on the bus while everyone got settled. I think it was an hour total wait to get started from the time I got there because they needed to shuttle more paddles in. but honestly I didn't notice because of the amazing weather & you can tell the drivers want to make sure everything is in order to have enough paddles + life vests for each person. The bus driver was upbeat & thorough so that everyone was accounted for. If you like feeling the breeze, their open-top bus is perfect for it. Once we got to the drop off point, their guys dragged our floats down to the river for us. They also helped me get into my kayak which was super nice. At the end of the river, their location to get back to All American is pretty obvious so you won't miss it.

The bus driver for our float trip was fantastic--she explained the rules clearly and made the ride smooth and fun. The one downside of our trip was our experience at the check-in desk. The staff member we dealt with seemed very flustered and came across as a bit rude. My grandmother was especially taken aback by her attitude. She told us she didn't want to check us in because not everyone in our party had arrived yet (even though only some of us were camping), and kept telling us to "move to the side" even though we already were. The interaction gave us bad vibes and made the start of our morning feel stressful. We also weren't sure about the wristband policy--we thought we needed them, but there were no guards at the stand, which added to the confusion. Other than that, we had an amazing float trip and a fun camping experience. If the front desk staff were a little more welcoming and better prepared to handle groups, this would easily have been a 5-star trip.

Their business info states to come early for check-in so you can purchase sundries and snacks. Well there were things like chums, there were no snacks nor beverages for purchase. With the heat one would think it wise to offer water to your customers. On our trip the shuttle driver told us where to meet him for the shuttle pickup and about how much time it would take us to get there. There were 12 of us on the van and 10 of us were able to get to the place within 10 minutes arrival of each other. The last couple did not. We waited another 30 minutes in the heat for them to arrive. Although you cannot control for self absorbed people, it might be a good idea to give some instructions on keeping up in the group so that you are not holding everyone up waiting for you (think pace of play or pace of float). I would still recommend Float Eureka as they provided a great experience overall.
