Extremely rude hostess at the front door. My boyfriend and our friends went on a Wednesday night for my boyfriends 21st birthday, it was our FIRST stop and the hostess checked our ids at the door. My boyfriends ID expired that day because it was his 21st birthday so he didn't have his horizontal id yet but presented his vertical ID and our friend didn't have hers at all but was about to leave and come back with it but they flashed a light in our face and told us to get out. We explained to him the situation again and how our other friend was offering to get her ID and come back and she was still extremely rude to us. We understand the liability of underage kids coming in and but they did NOT have to be so rude considering it was my boyfriends birthday. They could have easily said come again when you have valid IDs. Never going there AGAIN. Wish i could give you NO stars. read more

We found another table we're the staff once again came over and said it was reserved although no sign and they proceeded to put a sign on table while we were sitting. Let me start by saying i love this place - the atmosphere, the music, the excellent regular bartender .... I would live here and rate it 5 stars but they must never clean their taps. We had been there one time before and the food was delicious, unfortunately, it was not the same this time. First, I ordered a blueberry mojito, it was sour and disgusting. Then when the food came the tater tots that were included with both our meals were cold to the touch and when we tasted them they were barely cooked. We then complained to our server and she said she would inform the kitchen, thinking that she would credit us something. However, when we received the bill, she charged us full price for the dinners and said she hoped our next experience would be better. Was there a couple of months ago and am shocked I didn't contract the virus while there. They're not Covid safe/compliant at all. The staff wore their masks below the nose and/or pulled it down to talk to you. And people were up and mingling with different groups and also not compliant with the regulations. Now I see that they're referring to Covid as the China virus. That explains their attitude completely. Will not be returning. The service stunk anyway. read more

We came, we saw, we are done. We are extremely disappointed. We tipped our waitress 30% because we understand a business that is like this, will be closing soon. There is absolutely no flavor to any of the food. I got a shrimp po-boy, this looked like frozen shrimp that they tossed in Cajun powder. The Tennessee tots? Are water logged fries. The Nashville chicken sandwhich resembled a sponge, it was awful. There was no spicy. We also had roast beef, which was fake meat.The food is overpriced, and the quality is terrible. I'm not quite sure who opened this business, I'm also not sure who he hired to cook the food. Please use seasonings moving forward. Went on a Friday night so naturally the place was packed which was to be expected. The country music and the decor of the place were nice but really when I'm going out I prefer to be dealing with pleasant staff. The hostess was great but the bartenders AND the one bar back I dealt with were extremely rude. They would literally ignore people for long periods of time and when they finally did get to you they were not nice at all. Fun and pleasant bartenders are what make a place great. Second week in a row I tried to go and eat there and was not let in because my friend is not 21. We were annoyed last week but figured it because it was after 8:00 so we understood. My friends and I attempted to go to Daisy's yesterday night (8/11/2023) and were greeted with rude bouncers who actually threatened us. When we handed our ID to the bouncer he let everyone in except one of our friends who is male. He did not give a reason he just said "not tonight". We asked why because we were curious as to why every other male was getting into this bar and not our friend. He still would not give us a reason.Then he proceeded to get in our faces and was screaming he said "I said not tonight I don't need to give you a f-ing reason but i'll give you a reason to go to the hospital how about that". I have never ever encountered a bouncer that was this disrespectful to myself and also to my other friends. This was totally unprofessional and the situation was very scary. To have a grown man get in our faces and scream at us was disgusting and we will never ever attempt to enter this bar again. Came here on a Saturday night hoping to have a nice dinner and Nashville-esq experience... what a disappointment. Small selection of cocktails, the beer selection held very few local beers. The menu appeared to hold a southern selection, however the only decent item was the Jack Daniels candy bacon. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken and what I got was a warm piece of rubber between 2 slices of bread. It was bland and had no flavor. Thank goodness the baked potato was decent or I would've left hungry. Maybe Daisy Dukes should go down the block and get some pointers from Bobbieque where there is ACTUAL southern food. Cute place. Came to meet a friend for dinner at 6pm on a Friday. There was a good crowd, good music (not too loud). I enjoyed the ambiance. Drinks were par. I got a Moscow mule. Didn't taste like ginger beer more like 7-up. But it was ok. Food was pretty good. Not exactly piping hot. But overall I had a good experience and would go back. Note, as we were leaving around 830 there was a long line of a much younger crowd looking to get in. So not sure about late nite. But the dinner at 6:00 seemed like just the right time to get there. So I came in here with some friends to try out the new addition to Main Street. The environment lives up to their goal of a country theme. I ordered a rocket fuel which I did not like taste wise so I reordered their old fashion. This was actually delicious. Due to covid we had to rest food so we ordered the flatbread which was horrific. The unseasoned sauce was fresh out of a can and the cheese barely melted. It was completely inedible. We exchanged that for a pretzel which was soft and delicious. The manager or owner, whoever he is, refused to take the rocket fuel off of the bill...at first. He asked why I didn't like it and I told him that I'm not a huge fan of frozen drinks, but that was manageable. It was that the taste was so bad that I couldn't drink it. He then blatantly told me that it says frozen on the menu (it does not) and that he sells hundreds a day so me disliking it wasn't valid. So zero for customer service. He shouldn't be offended. Instead he should work or enhancing his business. The waitress was amazing which was why I gave 2 stars. I have a feeling this place will come and go with it's mediocre food and failure to follow social distancing. Oh and they charged a different amount on the credit card than the receipt said. Where do I start... As a local I was excited to venture into the new place in town, but was quickly disgusted. Came on 10/9/20 (saturday) around 9pm; me and my friend were seated at a table in the middle of the room (6ft approved), however the gentleman who appeared to be the manager kept bumping into her chair SEVERAL TIMES, no apology. Now onto service, we were seated rather quickly, minus the bouncer flirting with a group of girls blocking the door. We were greeted by the server rather quickly so we had ordered a beer and glass of wine (no issue) then we ordered a Flatbread to share...MISTAKE. when I tell you that this place served us some cafeteria mystery meat with the fakest sauce and plastic tasting crust. I WISH I WAS BEING DRAMATIC. My friend and I took one bite and immediately put it down. This is the most inedible food I've have ever experienced in my life, you're better off at a fast food chain. So we say it's fine because due to covid regulations food must be ordered, and I wasnt taking a chance at getting sick trying something else. Server checks on us once and then the "staffs jam" came on, they proceeded to do a line dance, which then provoked the bar to get up and dance (no 6feet safety there) some with masks someone without; I found this very careless on ALL the staff of daisies. After all the drama patchogue has been through with SLA you would think the bars wouldn't want anymore trouble, but its clear Daisies doesn't care. After the song has ended, which by the way COULD THE DJ BE ANY LOUDER???? We've finished our drinks by this point so we try to locate our waitress, no where in sight so we began a timer to see how long it would take anyone to notice....12 minutes. To put things into context the bar was barely full, tables were and had been squatting since before my friend and I came in. Now at this point we've stacked our plates, organized the table, anything to catch the staffs eye. Thank heavens a busser finally noticed us, I asked him to find our server and it took a few minutes, but she came over i asked for the check; made sure to pay the check in cash otherwise we would have waited even longer. Now this review seems like a total Karen moment, but the unfortunate thing is my friend and I have and still work in the industry for more than 10 years and understand weekend nights and the covid regulations within a restaurant, especially in a patchogue establishment. So thank you Daisies for whatever hospitality you think you provide your customers, but do better. I will take my money elsewhere where I feel welcome, taken care of and enjoy the overall experience and not just the esthetic of a place. read more

We didn't try the food because we could barely enjoy a drink. Asked the bartender to sit at a booth since I'm pregnant and the people I was with were having drinks and there wasn't enough space. She originally said no but then talked to who I believe to be a manager and said go ahead and sit at a booth they'll get you a server. We sat down and immediately angry distraught kylie walked over and wanted us out immediately. My husband and I explained that we spoke with the bartender and we'll get a server but at this moment we had drinks and didn't need one, she wasn't having it, wanted us up and out of the empty booth immediately (every booth was empty) we continued explaining that we'll get a server and order more but she wouldn't let us speak so we got up and went back to the bar. Angry kylie then walked over to another employee and was angrily telling her what just happened while continuously looking over at myself and our group so we felt uncomfortable and left after 1 drink at the bar. The bartender was great and apologetic. 2nd time with a poor experience because of angry Kylie so this time on the way out I asked for her name. Won't be back until she's gone. I've been to Daisy's a handful of times but never seem to be able to stay long enough to fully enjoy the atmosphere of this great country bar due to the fact that it seems the Air conditioner is always broken or off because it is a sauna in there. If they fix the air in this bar it would be GREAT!!! Other then the air conditioner problem the drinks/food menus is great! Would love to be able to sit here without melting. I went there last Friday with a group of friends and was served by a great waitress. my bill was messed up and I was charged twice. I called the restaurant as soon as I could see that it came off on my account twice. I asked to speak to a manager and got Brian on the phone. He was very patient and understanding and he refunded my account as promised. You never know with these places whenthe is they could just tell you oh well that's not my problem. But not this place thank you so very much I really recommend coming here because it is such a great bar and they know to do right by their guests/ customers. The only reason I am even giving this place a one star review is Bc It won't let me give zero. It is all a rouge, this is the worst food I have ever eaten in my entire life! Everything was brought out cold and gross. I am nauseous just thinking about what I just ate! They have no fryer, so expect soggy wings and fries. Went with my husband and 6 year old, they don't have a kids menu and can't even make chicken fingers, even though "crispy chicken" is on the menu. I would only recommend considering this place if you want to enjoy over priced drinks and decent music. My first experience here was sub par (during Covid) the bartender gave us our check, we split it three ways and she up-charged 4% for using a cc. When I asked for a copy of my receipt she said I couldn't have one... called over the manger and he said she was currently printing it for me (weird) my friend was charged an additional $70 after we left..... don't ask me why we decided to try this place again but when I asked for a drink, I was given a double. It was so strong I couldn't even sip it. Asked for a new drink and poor Ashley said that the manger wouldn't let her pour the drink out. We were charged for a double when I didn't ask for one. All in all, the management is garbage and scummy. The place is a rip off and I'm extremely disappointed that this establishment is still standing while folks are on waiting lists to have a business in patchogue village. First time going here wanted to love this place. Walked in and loved the vibe and country music playing. Had a terrible experience here. Waitress was completely inattentive never asked us if we wanted anything, didn't ask us how our food was, never came back to get our entree order. Every time we would look to find her she would be up at the hostess stand talking to people. Could care less. Drinks were crap and watered down. Waited 50 mins for 2 appetizers to come out and by the time they came we wanted to just eaT and leave didn't even order an entree. And go top it all off, they charge a $4 fee when using a card which is insane. Place is overpriced. Food was good but service was absolutely terrible. No one was even there it shouldn't have taken so long. We also had to leave a 20% tip they didn't have an option for us to leave our own which is ridiculous for very poor crappy service. Daisy is a great time if ur just visiting the bar but if you do the vip section the immediate cost was 75 per person to drink or eat up too which wasn't the problem, the problem was it was the end of the night and we had the bill we were all trying to figure out the bill and the staff and security guards had THE WORST Attitude AT THE END OF THE NIGHT! I get everyone wants to get home and Be done with work but don't give the tab 10 mins before u close to figure out a 10-15 person group to make sure everyone gets paid and tiped properly ! One of the security guards was so rude while we were just trying to figure out the total and they were rushing us out with such nasty Attiudes who have no right to say "as long as we get paid to leave", I'm sorry I work in the industry dealing with customer service and I won't ever act or speak to a customer that way and the waitress that attended our party who we gave a 40 dollar tip to in the middle of the night bc of her great service, only to find out that she also Gave attitude at the end when we're trying to figure out the bill. I will never return to that establishement bc of the rude service and disrespect I was given when we made them a pretty penny tonight but lesson learned, nothing but disrespect to those who don't know how to show respect to their customers when we made them a lot of money. Ive been to daisys and never had an issue up until tonight, if u get Shelby the one who took care of us all night, we respected her and tiped her 40 dollar during the night and was going to get another 200 at the end of the night, but like I said toward the end of the night she had the problems and wanted to go at us!
