I uploaded some photos a while back during an in person experience but more recently we ordered delivery excited to try their new expanded menu. Firstly the packaging for delivery was superb. Everything arrived warm and neat. Straight to the point I would not order the kung pao kauliflower again, the cauliflower was cut into huge heads, which was a nice sized portion definitely shareable however it was definitely over dressed and a mush-fest. I actually gagged a little like it was meant to be baby food, to each their own though. The overstuffed garlic knot while enormous, do not be fooled by the name, it was maybe some kind of cheese and butter with some pesto. While tasty I consider myself a garlic knot snob this was like the third cousin of a garlic knot twice removed. ON TO THE FABULOUS EATS: Smokey Brussels sprouts = phenomenal, crispy and saucy to perfection. Saucy Burger= delectable, large enough to split. Humus and pita= the best hummus I've had in my life! (Could definitely use some more pita considering the amount of humus you get, I'm not complaining I saved the humus and snacked on it for several days). Cesar salad was a Cesar salad. Came here with a dear friend to catch up and have a bite to eat. Service was atrocious. It took a very long time for someone to come over to us to take our order after we sat down. We started with some apps. Wednesday is bogo on apps. When we went to order drinks our waiter told us they were out of Pinot Grigio. We ordered our apps; spinach dip and everything pretzel. While we were in the middle of eating, our waiter said he was leaving and someone else would be taking care of us. Okay, no big deal..we came in the middle of the lunch/dinner turnover. Well...nobody ever came and we wanted to order meatballs after we finished our apps. I saw a server at another table and called him over. We told him we wanted to order some more food. He asked if we closed out our check. We told him no and explained that our waiter had left for the day. He told us there was miscommunication. What?! Anyway, we ordered our meatballs and they came out within 5 minutes. On to the food... The spinach dip was good. It came with crisp bread. Flavors were on point. Giant pretzel was good too. It came with 3 different dips...queso, mustard and scallion cream cheese. I ordered GGS pork meat balls and my friend ordered the classic meatballs. I went to this bar on Nov 1st for halloweekend. This place is a shit show mess which I expect on this weekend but the treatment I received was not only unprofessional but inappropriate. There was 0 monitoring of the bathroom line, literally nothing, so when I saw the bathroom open, and no bouncer/no clear line, I entered the bathroom. Walked around Patchogue and ended up here as we knew the place and was a long time since we last were here. My husband and I made the perfect choice! We shared the Lobby Pot Skins which looked different, he had the Classic and I had the Lobster Sliders. It was all delicious. It also wasn't too crowded as we got there at a decent hour, which was nice. Our waitress was excellent, very attentive and checked on us to make sure if we wanted anything or not. We went on a Saturday around 5pm, no wait and we were seated immediately. They sat us in the back room which was nicely decorated and tables spaced well. We ordered the Crispy Burrata which was absolutely delicious, fried perfectly and the pesto underneath takes it over the top. Well if your over 22 don't bother going to this place after 9:00pm because the bar tenders won't pay attention to you. Granted they were busy but I even waved $60 dollars just to try and get some attention and they still paid attention to the younger clientele. What more can a person do to get some service? Went for Bingo night. It started later than it should've, which is rough on a weeknight. I used to go to bingo here a few years back when they had a female host that was really fun. She had incredible music and did a lot of fun things to help you earn extra boards. The prizes aren't as great and the host is a little blah. The music also, wasn't my preference or anything "fun." You didn't even get an extra board for each drink you ordered. I'm thinking of trying out a different location for bingo as a few spots offer it now. We came to this place because our normal breakfast spot had a 90 minute wait. Decided to give Meetball a try during their brunch. Unfortunately, it was a bad move. We ordered the Corned beef hash, which was accompanied by potatoes with cinnamon sugar on them. I didn't understand what was going on with my plate. Went last night for drinks. I ordered the Black Dahlia which was delicious. It was a black berry margarita. I would rate the drink 5 stars. As far as the menu goes there isn't much for someone who is celiac. Last time I tried to order the chef came out to speak me. I truly appreciated this. He said that the gluten free meatballs had oats in them that weren't certified gluten free. For someone that has a true gluten allergy you know that you want to avoid this then. My wife and I stopped in here for Sunday brunch, not knowing what to expect. It wasn't packed when we got there, but we took our time and enjoyed the bottomless mimosas, so by the time we left it got pretty packed out. Good ambience, extremely attentive staff. Our server, Kayla was great. She made sure our mimosas were topped off and was attentive the whole time despite the influx of diners. The executive chef, Tom, also stopped by our table to see how everything was, and offered us a shot after we complemented the service. It's the little gestures that go a long way. The food was very good. I had the Hangover Potatoes and my wife had the Frittata. UNSAFE FOR WOMEN!!!!! My girlfriend, best friend and I were all physically assaulted by the security that works at meetball. This all stemmed from them banging on the bathroom door after 30seconds of us being in there meanwhile the girls that left the bathroom prior to us were in there for much longer and security never banged on their door. We had an exchange of words and they did not like what we had to say an immediately became violent. One of the bouncers shoulder checked my friend and pinned her up against the wall. My girlfriend CALMLY walked over and asked why she was being pushed and she was shoved to the ground twice. As i approached Them my girlfriend was on the ground. I was also shoved and aggressively DRAGGED OUT. Literally by my feet even after we agreed to leave the establishment. 4-5 men pushed and shoved me out and then threw me to the floor and dragged me by my foot and then had me up against the wall while STILL holding my foot screaming at me to get out. I was On the ground cornered and had my hands above my face asking them to let me stand up. This entire altercation was recorded start to finish by one of my friends and two times two different security guards smacked her phone out of her hand to stop her from filming which resulted in her phone being shattered. My girlfriend's prescription glasses were also knocked off of her face and no where to be found and i left with bruises on my legs and back and I also must have bit my tongue at some point and have a gash on my tongue. I am TRAUMATIZED. This was more than unprofessional. This was completely uncalled for and this is not the first time they've been overly aggressive. These "men" have large egos and have done this too MANY women. Meetball spent the day dodging our phone calls as well as the security company. This place is diagusting and unsafe for women!!!! They will never get business from me or anyone I know ever again and I urge you to stay away from this place read more

Of course That Meatball Place has to go and have two locations and make me write another ball-based review! Want the original ball-filled write up? Check out my four-star Farmingdale ode to circumference. As for Patchogue, well it's about the same (anticlimactic much?). That's a good thing though. It shows that, um, That Meatball Place runs the same level of ball-quality in both spots. This past Saturday was my second experience of spheres in this location and continued to produce just what I've come to enjoy. The ambiance/setting of this meatball-based building looks similar to F-dale (sans an upstairs section), but does have a more casual back room area away from the hustle/bustle by/near the bar. Speaking of bar, you'll find quality beer selections (check out the chalk drawings) and plenty of other alcoholic options. From ball experience (just own it, Josh), I've come to learn that ya gotta get a jumbo Bavarian pretzel to start. These babies are huge (hence the name) and come in a few varieties with several sauces. We optioned for the garlic and Asiago knot and it lived up to expectations. Further ball-trial and ball-error has led me to finding the best sauces and ball styles. There are quite a few to choose from so be ready for a mental ball-showdown. To curb this dilemma, go with the TMP sampler and try three ball types with three different sauces. *insert a ball joke here* For that night, I landed on the spicy sausage and pepper with spicy marinara, eggplant and pesto with pesto sauce, and the lobster risotto (worth the extra $1) with pancetta cream. By all means, mix your balls and sauces in any way you choose, but these concoctions will leave you with a pleasant mindset on meatballs. That first time at this spot (back in October) gave way to knowledge of seasonal specials such as a sweet potato polenta which was quite tasty. The side of mac and cheese we purchased also rounded things out nicely (even if it wasn't a ball!). You'll find plenty to choose from when dining in this ball-led location. Overall, That Meatball Place of Patchogue is a quality spot for dinner, drinks, and getting more intimate with...alright, that's enough, you get it. TMP won't necessarily blow you away (maybe your ball combo won't be a winner), but it holds all the facets of a restaurant worthy of your time and money. Met up with approximately 15 friends on a Monday night. This restaurant is very spacious with a large bar . Monday through Friday 4 to 7 is happy hour on selected drinks and beer. Can't even tell you how many tv's there are but it's a lot! Our group ordered a variety of meatballs, nachos and pretzels. Everyone was pleased.. My favorite was the pretzel. I only ate a chicken meatball that was pretty good but nothing to write home about. Restaurant was loud but we were comfortable. The best part was hanging out and exchanging stories. Came here for brunch and we were not let down! We did the $15 bottomless mimosas and they were great! We sat at the bar and the bartender made sure we were always filled up! The vibe was cool as they had a DJ playing music but it wasn't too loud which was great. The menu is big and lots of options to chose from. I got the chicken fried steak and this dish was a must get! It was huge! The gravy was insanely delicious. It had chorizo, corn, and sausage in it and was so good!!! I ate the entire thing. The potatoes served with it were also very good and the portion was great. My girlfriend got the biscuits which was with fried eggs and ham which was pretty basic.
