I went on a recommendation from someone else. I wish I had read the reviews before taking my car to this guy!!! Please stay away from this place. Dale had my car for 1 1/2 years! In that time frame, I dealt with three different mechanics and two different receptionists. Of course, Dale said they were stealing from him. I asked him to call this job quits and return my money back numerous times. He insisted that he would fix the car. He just did not want to refund my money back for an incorrectly ordered expensive part. I tried to work it out and was extremely patient. He became more defensive, argumentative, and evasive. He stopped answering phone calls and text messages. I finally had to show up with the Kent County Sheriff's Department. I was informed that this is a regular occurrence with Dale. Even the tow truck driver said other tow truck drivers have had to deal with him just doing their job. Now, I have to take him to court because he refused to refund my money for a part that was never put on my car. A 1 1/2 year nightmare that still is not over. On the weekends, this business blasts music so loud that you can hear it inside your house from over a half mile away well past 1am. They are unwilling to respect their neighbors and are uncooperative with the police who have been there many times to ask them to stop. read more

My boyfriend and I had some trouble with our truck while on vacation cruising around back roads. Called up Dale around 5pm and he said to come on over. We got there and he looked at the truck right away which was awesome not having to wait. He gave us a diagnosis but couldn't get parts until the next day. He was generous enough to fix us up with a ride to a motel for the night and picked us up the following morning. He worked on it first thing in the morning and we were on the road by 10am. The worst service I have ever had. He replaced my motor in March and i took it in nine different times because the oil leaked and the service engine light was on and he never did fix anything. There were times he had my truck for two weeks and never touched it. I wasted thousands of dollars and still had to take it somewhere else to get it fixed right. Stay away Update: The new mechanic found there was two pages of codes that were wrong with my truck and Dale said that they cleared all of them. Dales service was referred by a friend of a friend and if I can save you the trouble I will. He lies, steals, and just is shady all around. Paid him good money to replace motor and had nothing but trouble dealing with him. He is so confident in his work if you write a check at five he will run to the bank and cash it before your vehicle breaks down on your way home and turn around and charge you again to fix what was supposed to be fixed the first time. Won't return parts claiming he did, won't fix what's wrong but will charge you. Sure, he will quote you a good price but you will end up paying double and it will be more jacked up then when you brought it in. Consumer be aware!!! read more
