The beer on tap is local from Whitetooth Brewery. We had their homemade chicken Thai soup. I wish I could package that soup up and bring it back home. Even if you stopped here for a coffee or gelato the view is breathtaking and worth every minute.

As I mentioned, the store was nicely stocked and I was able to find both the things on the "honey do list" as well as some extras to serve as gifts upon heading home (like maple cookies). The store is organized very neatly, and has plenty of room for carts to roam about without feeling cramped. Another +1 is having free, super speedy Wi-Fi. A godsend for foreign travelers without a data plan. The service here is what really sets this store apart. They're genuinely friendly and helpful, and make you feel like you're part of their community. Overall, friendly, local grocery store with a great selection and variety of foods. We checked out IGA one day, and we can say that we 100% prefer Overwaitea over IGA. I highly recommend this be your stop when you're in town!
