I already produced copies of the front, and back of the 8 checks!! Could you get your employers bank statement?? They do not return your calls and do not honer their words. I dealt with the son and he has lied to me about everything he has said. Do not go here. I really believe they are identity thieves.

Because the mechanic was delayed in traffic, I spent several hours at the dealership. The vehicle checked out, and I decided to purchase it. I completed the paperwork and paid for the vehicle. At the very end of the transaction, they were unable to print the temporary tag due to an issue with the system. Since the appropriate department was already closed, they couldn't determine the problem that evening. I was extremely disappointed after spending hours there and paying for an inspection, but the office manager, Julie, immediately refunded all of my purchase money, which I appreciated. I was told to call the following morning. When I did, I specifically asked whether the title issue had been resolved and whether the vehicle was ready, and I was told yes, but to call again before leaving. About an hour and a half later, I called to say I was on my way. At that point, I was told there was actually an additional issue involving a duplicate title and it could take another 7-10 days. I explained that I had spent $125 on an inspection because I was under the impression the vehicle was available for purchase. I asked whether anything could be done about that expense and was referred to the owner. Unfortunately, my interaction with the owner is ultimately why I'm leaving this review. His response was essentially, "We didn't tell you to hire a mechanic, so why should I refund you?" I explained that I wasn't blaming them for hiring the mechanic. I was simply asking for some consideration because I would not have paid to inspect a vehicle had I known the dealership was unable to complete the sale. I wasn't demanding or disrespectful. I actually still wanted the vehicle. What disappointed me was the owner's immediate defensiveness and complete lack of concern about the experience. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to find a reasonable solution. He said he would speak with his staff, but afterward I was unable to reach him again despite calling twice. To be fair, Julie was professional and treated me fairly, and the dealership immediately returned my purchase money when they couldn't issue the temporary tag. I appreciate that and don't want to leave that part out. My negative review is not about the vehicle. It is about the customer service I received from the owner when a problem arose. Problems happen in business. What matters is how a business responds when they do. After driving two hours round trip, spending several hours at the dealership, and paying $125 for an inspection of a vehicle that ultimately could not be sold to me at that time, I expected at minimum some empathy and professionalism from the owner. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend First Auto Sales. There are too many dealerships to choose from to spend your money somewhere you may be treated this way if a problem arises.

Gary's prices are incredibly fair, and he has gotten me financing for as little as 2% (even when my credit was in the gutter). He's incredibly picky about the cars he brings in and puts up for sale, and stands behind every single one. That's a huge selling point for me and something you won't find at any other used car dealership around that I've found. I spoke with Gary Ernest, and he told me to have them tow it there and they would take a look at it. The Hero Unit that came to my rescue had said it was my alternator after checking it out. Well, after I had it towed to Ernest Motors, they checked it out and confirmed that's exactly what had happened. Note, I bought my car there about five years ago, so this was not a fresh purchase, and alternators do go bad over time, so this was normal. They made a call and had the part sent over to them. While I was inside, and trying to find someone who could pick me up, they came in and said "your car's ready to go". I was shocked, as I thought I would have to leave it there, or have it towed to a shop to have the work done. They actually put the new alternator in my car and sent me on my way. Thank you Gary and Eric for fixing my problem, let alone within an hour! If that's not a dealership that stands behind their cars and then, after a few years of owning the car, goes above and beyond.... Just saying, they are AMAZING people!
