When we decided to sell our condo, I was still living across the country in Philadelphia, and my fiancé and I (well, really my fiancé) was in the busy final stretch of planning our wedding. We told Lauren that we wanted to sell the place really quickly, easily, and for top dollar (a challenging combination!), so that we could be closed before our wedding and enjoy our honeymoon. Lauren immediately took the reigns and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out. She had the perfect recommendations in terms of doing just the right amount of touch-ups / improvements to make the place ready to sell quickly. In addition to recommending what we should do, she also had great referrals for the actual companies and contractors that would perform the work (painters, handymen, stagers, cleaning services, photographers). PLUS, she made multiple trips to my condo to coordinate and manage all of the work being done since I was living across the country. She really did a lot to make sure our very tight and aggressive timeline stayed on track. When all of the work was completed and the pictures taken, my family and friends barely recognized the place - her recommendations really transformed the place without spending much, and the little investment that we did make on improvements was easily returned with a high multiple. By the time we officially listed the condo, Lauren had done an amazing job of pre-selling the place to the many realtors in her network. So, within a matter of hours, we had multiple attractive offers. Lauren held two great open houses on Saturday and Sunday of opening weekend, and the offers continued to pour in. We had multiple offers well above list price, and ultimately accepted one $15K over asking price within 4 days of listing the unit. After we accepted the offer, Lauren managed the remainder of the process to perfection, with no bumps or snags, and keeping us informed throughout the process. Sam has a couple of hardworking , knowledgeable members of his team which I infer is the reason they currently have a high rating. However, Sam is far from this. During our stay at one of his groups property's , Sam attempted to bully, intimidated and belittle us. Never in my life have I worked with someone who showed the lack of respect that Mr. Woods displayed. Upon move in the home was infested with Bugs, broken appliances , poor carpet quality and old paint. After months of deliberation and weeks to fix the issue we finally were able to recoup some of the costs that were associated with their lack of property management. Upon move out Sam gave us a laundry list of charges that were not associated with our occupancy and attempted to bully us into paying them out of our security deposit. Sam is not someone I would recommend to anyone and I am hopeful that just one person is able to read this and make a decision to hire his company/ not stay at one of his proprieties. Updating review to respond to Sams comment: I agree that reviews are important , both good and bad. I hope you are able to take this review and improve your services. There are multiple inconsistencies in your response to my review. We indeed did begin our lease in mid August 2022 but did not move into the property until the end of August. Upon move in all carpeted areas were covered in fleas. I have attached a picture to make sure that we are both able to show proof to let the public decide. This was reported multiple times and was not taken care of for about a month. Regarding the appliances. Please check the dates, upon move in there was neither a functioning dishwasher nor refrigerator. The dishwasher was promptly fixed however the refrigerator was not replaced for approx 30 days. Please check dates again, Sam. Regarding the carpet, the carpet was in below average condition upon move in and was very similar upon move out. At no point did a pet enter the home as we do not have one and have an allergy to pets. I maintain that Sam was dismissive and threatening in the process of receiving our security deposit. Sometimes the truth hurts but public forums like yelp give renters the ability to share their experiences.
