Shortly after payment, the shop informed me they could not honor those dates. While I tried to accommodate alternative dates, they were unable to provide a consistent or comparable schedule. Instead, they proposed fragmented options across multiple weekends and different course formats, which did not match what was originally sold. When I requested a full refund--since the course could not be delivered as agreed--they refused, claiming that part of the fee (eLearning) was non-refundable. This was never disclosed at the time of purchase, and the invoice itself shows a single bundled charge with no breakdown. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this shop get all terms in writing, including cancellation policy, refund policies and cost breakdowns, before making a payment.

After a brief search of places that rented kayaks around Lake Ray Hubbard, I decided on Kayak Power. I'm so glad I did! Their website was easy to navigate and reserving a kayak online was super fast. Within maybe 2 hours of making my reservation online, I received an email from Mike (the owner I think) to go over the basics of time/place for my rental. I saw online that they will deliver to Lake Ray Hubbard as well as Lake Grapevine, which is very convenient as not all companies will deliver. The morning of my rental, Mike was already at the launch site and had set up everything I needed for my lake adventure! And as an added bonus, he even provided snacks/water and a dry box in case I wanted to take any belonging with me! Overall I had a fantastic experience with Kayak Power. Mike was so helpful and informative, and he was super quick to return all emails and phone calls along the way! I will definitely rent from them again!

Very patient and easy going. He has all the equipment you might need or you can being your favorite rod and reel. If you want to keep your catch for a tasty meal (nothing like fresh fish). Steve will filet the fish for you so you can take your catch home. Steve doesn't use live bait. That's cheating. This is real fishing. It's active fishing so come prepared to cast (and catch) A LOT of fish. July is great for top water action. The big catfish come in November and December. It is a Lefty Kreh Healing Waters series which was not only a great performing setup but was far less than comparable combos. One selling point is the warranty. $25 will replace a broken rod section. I learned all about that this week. My last time out my rod tip section got caught in some riparian underbrush and I snapped it. This week I was near TFO and decided to drop by with it on the off chance they could fix me up. They did! I paid the $25 & the replacement tip section was provided that was exact in color, fit and design to the original-except unbroken. Not only did they cheerfully replace my broken rod section, they also gave me a cool dark Olive TFO cap. I got to pick it among several colors. Proudly sporting it and telling everyone in my fishing circle that TFO rods are by far the best buy in the sport!

Recently, I had a legacy two handed rod brake mid cast, at the junction between two of the sections. This was captured on a GoPro. Sent it in for warranty replacement. The customer service department told me that it is my fault that the rod broke because I "did not seat the two sections together correctly". I have used the repair service and warranty service more times than I can count in the past 30+ years. I am very disappointed in the decline in their customer service lately. This was a proving point to me that their company has made a decline in recent management and warranty policies. As a result, there is no longer a reason for me to buy rods from them. I will be choosing a company that is willing to honor their warranty.
