The store was not too crowded so we were able to leisurely browse and really take in everything in the store. The selection is outstanding. if they don't have something related to camping or outdoor life, it does not exist. This trip the wife was looking for some shoes while the kid and I looked at everything else. She enjoyed checking out the tents and sleeping bags. She rode on one of the bikes. It was like a play day. I liked that there were employees to help and answer questions. Noah in the bike section was great. Employees were very friendly. The quality of the products they sell is excellent. Prices are high but you get value and what you buy is going to last a while. We ended up not buying anything, but we enjoyed the store nonetheless.

However, I wouldn't necessarily classify it as sporting goods, they don't sale the same stuff you get at Academy to Dick's Sports, they sale outdoor mountainy type of items... climbing, hiking, kayaking, bouldering, trail walking, camping ... that type of stuff, both materials and the clothes. I came in today because they carry Kuhl brand clothing, I was surprised that they had more styles then REI did, and they had longer lengths. Walked out with some, very happy.

I told her I said this is ridiculous. I have to be a member and it cost money to do it. What is this? Hermes? ( more like Costco for Campers without good prices ) So I told her I'm not to pay $30 extra for something that was on your return rack. She had the audacity to say I was purchasing something the equivalent of a yard sale item since it had been a return! LOL Whoa. She did go check and see if they had any more but obviously they were sold out so I would never shop here again. It's beyond ridiculous. Plus I didn't even get a bag for my purchase. Texomaland's premier and largest supplier of firearms, ammo, accessories, knives, apparel and some miscellaneous food items. Extremely cool T-Shirts, and caps. They have a gun range on site. Which also includes classes for Texas license to carry permits. You need to sign up as the classes fill quickly. The customer service is incredible. The staff is very knowledgeable. And the prices are great. We will definitely be returning and recommend this store 100%.
