Never again! This nail salon used to be a quality place but it has really gone down hill. The employees are rude and hostile, the salon frequently smells and they often hold what seems like a child day care in the back room making it very loud and unpleasant. I will never step foot in this nail salon ever again. The manager absolutely ruined my nails to the point of them being so brittle and painful. My new nail tech at a different salon was so appalled at the condition of my nails. With so many other quality and excellent nail salons in the area, don't waste your hard earned money here. I went here for mother's day because it had good reviews. The guy that I had cut my cuticles so bad that four of my fingers were bleeding, my thumb especially was bleeding pretty badly and clearly you can see blood and he said absolutely nothing. I noticed that some of the steps were skipped just from experience of getting my nails done for about 10 years on and off and because of it multiple of my nails have chipped and it has been less than a week which has never happened to me. Recently moved to Dallas and trying to find a good nail salon. I've been here three times now as I have been trying to give this place a chance as it has decent reviews, but each time I get subpar results. The previous time I came here the polish lasted only a few days before chipping and fading, and this time the nail technician gave me a fair massage during my pedicure, but her painting skills were not good and I had to ask her to properly cover certain nails with polish again. read more

I had a good experience at this salon! I enjoy quiet while I'm getting my nails done, and I experienced no small-talk/forced conversation with my nail tech while I was in the chair. (Just the basic length/shape check.) The only thing is my index finger on my right hand looks a little wonky. The side of my nail is missing color and there's a bunch of clumpy glue under the nail. I have not had a pedicure since sometime before the pandemic, and decided to finally treat myself to one since my birthday is coming up soon. I checked out the reviews of the salons within a reasonable distance from me and decided to give this place a try. I am so glad I did! I did the Dallas Nail Bar Pedicure (I believe that is what it was called - should have taken a photo of their menu of services because it has changed since the photo posted to this page), with gel polish, and enjoyed a lovely leg and foot massage with hot rocks after a paraffin treatment and other treatments. The staff was very friendly and wore masks and kept everything clean and sanitized. The salon itself was very spacious and clean as well. I hate leaving a negative review but this nail spa has been very inconsistent. I requested the same light pink color I had gotten back in December. When applying the dip, I noticed it was not the same but more baby pink. The nail tech continued to apply the color I did not ask for. I also felt very rushed when selecting my toe color. I've been going here for pedicures for 2 years and I always get the most expensive one and then give them a nice tip to make the total a hundred dollars. Last time I went, the lady had another lady bring her a different nail polish from what I had picked, turns out she upgraded me without asking to a gel. I wanted shiny nails and he said they would last longer and would be shiny. 5 dollars more so I said yes. 1.5 hours later, I was disappointed with the results and the service. 45 dollars and my nails are messy, top coat on the sides and under nails. The red powder left my fingers tips stain. no soak, no hand massage, no hot towel and no lotion either! The owner was like you have to pay 20 extra for that. So I'm paid 45 for cut, shape and dip?!? They could definitely be more customer oriented/friendly, and I WISH TO GOD the young man in there would stop walking around clipping his own nails because it makes me want to vomit. I really don't want his nails zipping through the air as he clips and walks around. Plus, he's at work and not a customer. During business hours, HIS nails are irrelevant. I've tried the other nail salons in the immediate the area, and this one has been not the greatest, but the best so far. The going rate for manicures and pedicures has increased over the years and the price for this location is on par with the industry standard. I find that it matters very much what time of day and what day of the week you plan your visit to a nail shop. If you go on a busy Saturday, it's highly likely that your experience won't be as good as if you book an appointment on a slow day during the week. I visited Dallas nail bar at noon on a Thursday and I was one of two customers in the shop. Mimi Took her time on my nails and completed them while I received my pedicure. For a deluxe manicure and a full set of coffin dip nails, it took an hour and 20 minutes. I like my nails thin and she buffed them perfectly without being asked. They are all equal length and shaped correctly on both hands. The salon is very pretty and you can tell they've put a lot of money into the aesthetics. Love my nails! Move next door almost a Year ago and always went to my same spot somewhere else. Decided to try locally and help my own community, and I'm definitely coming back. I had nail damage from never letting my nails breathe and the nail tech advised me to try no tip and just dip, cute simple and safe. I have been coming to Dallas Nail Bar since it opened and have never experienced any racial discrimination from any of the staff. There is always a diversity of customers all being treated with care and receiving great customer service. I absolutely love coming here for my manicures and pedicures! My experience, my nails on my feet are crooked. The nail technician did not bother to cut my big toes equally even when I asked her too. (Chi) My friends nail tech was amazing I was watching her the whole time. As fair as my hands, the tech cut me a total of 3x. She literally was to rough. I told her my hands were sensitive and she said she could work with me. Clearly she couldn't. My nails are French dip, they are messy.
