The first time, they came out and inspected our roof for us on our first home purchase, the same day we called. This was awesome, because we were in an option period, and needed to know whether or not we should move forward on our purchase. And it was right in the middle of the busy storm season. After inspecting the roof, they let us know the roof did need to be replaced, even knowing that they may not get the job, since we were asking the sellers to fix it. The sellers chose to go with another company, unfortunately. The second time we called them, it was to inspect our roof again, this time before we sold the home we had had them inspect before purchasing, the home inspector (for the seller) was concerned about the roof on our back porch. The owner of the company came out himself and looked at it, told us that the roof was fine, that what they were seeing was normal, and did not need to be replaced. He even wrote us a letter saying so to include with our paperwork- again at no charge! And the third time, I called because I felt like our roof (on our new home) looked a little wonky. They had someone at my home within a few hours. He climbed up and took a look at everything, and let me know the roof was fine, what I was seeing was from the settling of the house but that the roof looked good. There were small ping marks on the fence and the vents, but they weren't anything to worry about, and that the roof wasn't compromised in any way. He also took a look at our gutters and let us know that they were attached incorrectly, the lip had been installed above the roof line instead of under, which is why water was pouring off our roof all around anyways. He said it wasn't harming the roof, but that when the roof did need to be replaced, those could be fixed too. I was really thankful that a company would so willingly send someone out and be honest with me about the condition of my roof, even having no experience. They could have easily sold us a roof any of these times, but were honest about it, which I really appreciate! They'll be the ones I call when the next big storm hits! It looked fine but I was waiting for another company to come out before I decided. I replied that I would get back to them the following week. Tuesday the 18th, I emailed saying I wanted them to do the work, but I had a couple of questions. No response to this email. Wednesday the 19th I called the phone number on their website and here -- the phone number that apparently worked just fine when I was trying to get the estimate. No response. Thursday the 20th I called again. No response. I am so baffled by these companies that do not communicate with customers that want to hire them. UPDATE: He did not call me back after "checking his schedule." And why no response to my first phone call the previous day? He also seems to indicate that he received my first email, but not my second. I can post a screen shot of it, Jason, so frankly, I don't believe you. The fact is, you decided my job was too small to bother with, so you thought you would just ghost me. But then posted a response to my first review here within two hours of its appearance! I believe future potential customers should be warned about the lack of courtesy and professionalism. Obviously I have moved on and am looking forward to reviewing your competitor.
