I took my Jeep Wrangler in May 15th, 2025, after stopping in the week before to see if they could get it in for what I thought was a piston tap issue. Irven Weighill told me, sure, to bring it in "next week" and they would "run diagnostics." 5 phone calls from me, of which zero, I repeat ZERO, were returned, and 26 days later, I went in to check on progress. I found it in their bullpen. Nothing had been done, except brand new hail damage that beat the hell out of my Jeep. All it would take is one call to me to tell me they still had not done anything, especially considering my repeated, unanswered phone calls, to advise it might be best to bring it back later, but they couldn't even be bothered to do that. After being obviously upset, Mr. Weighill's only response to me was "I'm not God" and the mechanic's response, "At least it didn't bust the windows out." I think that should give everyone a good indication of their integrity, or lack thereof. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THESE PEOPLE. After taking it to be repaired and nothing done, I now have to pay around 2K for hail damage repairs. I personally hold Joe Dalton responsible for allowing this extremely poor treatment of customers to be their standard. From these reviews, looks like I'm not the first. read more

I've now been to Dalton's for a few minor repairs. Typically leave my vehicle but as I was off from work today I stayed and waited, and about an hour later the part had been delivered and my car repaired. But even when I leave it, they've called me by lunch to tell me what's wrong and how much it's going to cost. These guys are quick, efficient, and as far as I can see reasonable in cost for repairs. read more

Poor communication. I was charged a diagnostic fee that was not communicated up front. Felt like I was being bamboozled.

I took my car in to get it fixed and they had it for over a week. During this time, I called twice and they had no answers for me. At one point, he told me he would call me back and never did. After over a week with no car I decided to go pick it up. Nothing was fixed but they still charged me.. and my car was still having the problem. Will never go back. read more

Took my truck in for some broken manifold bolts and a transmission warranty and they found a couple of sensors that were bad and had to be replaced. I was good with that but not good with the fact after I got my truck back 2 weeks later I had more issues than before I took it to them. Since I've had to change the thermostat, had a major power loss which has cost me replacing both fuel pumps and some major electrical issues that I never had before. Overall it has cost me nearly $6000 from there fees and the other repairs I've had to do since I got my truck back. I would not recommend anyone take there diesels to them. read more

I took my car into Dalton's based on a recommendation and I received at a different auto shop that could not fix my issue. I brought it in the mid afternoon. I had a big road/business trip the next day and needed it repaired quickly. My car had been giving me trouble for a couple months but after just a few hours at Dalton's they repaired the problem and got it back to me that evening. They also did it for it and extremely reasonable price. He gave me an estimate after they had run some tests and when I came in my bill was not far off from what he originally estimated. Had a freeze plug put in and they never filled radiator with water. I am a woman and of course I live only blocks away. Then I go to drive it....smoke comes out motor ....no water....none on ground nothing....of course they denied it......not filling radiator with water. Gets 0 from me if had a 0 read more

Dalton's. Sigh...Dalton's Dalton's Dalton's. You know what scares folks the most about taking their car to a mechanic? Getting half-assed answers to whatever is going wrong, getting scary estimates that assure you the problem CAN be corrected (when it maybe can't) and then having your poor baby die as a repercussion. My adventure started with an oil change gone wrong - we can get to that later. Or now? An oil change at a Bolton's where they didn't frickin' put oil in after the change. Yup. Sent me on my merry way driving a car with No. Frickin'. Oil. In. It. Sounds pretty devastating, huh? So I asked around & someone sent me to Dalton's. Spoke with Irven, who was very sympathetic. He took the car right in & assured me that they would let me know what was wrong quickly. So, a week later - yup - he lets me know it would be $786 to fix the issue. Ouchies. We knew this might hurt. So almost a week after that, my baby was given back to me with a clean bill of health. I drove away super relieved. But wait...what is that new noise? No. That's definitely a new noise. Same day got the car back, I came back to see Irven. Irven who now thinks I'm one of those attention craving crazies because I'm back already. You said it with your eyes, Irven. He grabs his mechanic who actually specializes in my make of car, and the guy goes out to hear the new noise. Says, "Oh! That's gonna be normal for a day or two. It's because what we fixed is actually making the car's oil run smoother, so it's just gonna clear itself out. Don't worry. It will stop." He was right. It did stop. The engine is blown. Everything stops when your engine is blown. Irven, who really wished I would go away at this point, graciously (with all sarcasm attached) offered to repair my car for another $800. Actually, I used $500 for a down payment on a new(ish) car, but thanks for the offer. Live & learn, but don't do it at Dalton's. read more

I am new to Yelp and writing reviews for companies but I came into doing it just because of the service I had at this specific automotive shop I took my car into Dalton's roughly two and a half months ago to have them look at my transmission and they told me that it would take a couple days to run the Diagnostics to see what's wrong with it I also gave them my extended warranty and they told me it would take a couple days for them to get the paperwork done on that so roughly two and a half weeks later I get the runaround from Irwin the manager and I get told that I can take my car over to the Dodge house because I have a hundred thousand mile warranty that I didn't realize I had during this time of the two and a half weeks or more than my car was there there was a huge storm over on 98th and Slide that caused a lot of hail and caused a lot of damage to a lot of cars once I went and picked up my vehicle from Dalton's Automotive I told the guy thank you very much got my car it was covered in mud and filth and as I get in my car and start driving away I noticed a giant crack in my windshield and then I get out of my car and I noticed a bunch of dents on my hood and on the top of my car and I was told nothing about this when I got my vehicle back I called the guy and he said he was sorry that he can't prevent acts of nature an d this has been the most unprofessional ridiculous experience I have ever had and I'm not going to pay the $1, 000 deductible now on the $7, 000 that I was told nothing about while it took this company two and a half weeks to tell me I can take my car over to the Dodge to get it fixed and gave me the run around the whole time it has been very unprofessional and it has upset me a lot to get me to the point to where I have gotten on Yelp and on Google to write a review because this needs to be known and I need to talk to the owner of this place so that they can pay for the thousand dollar deductible that I had nothing to do with I will not recommend this place to anyone!! read more

Spent almost $1000 at Daltons' last summer on a new AC , and the manager was rude and hateful. Had to take the car in FOUR times before the AC was right. That was in June.
