Solid. Bar pizza, popcorn, keno and fried food. We have been here a few times and it has always worked out. We have kids, so generally go early evening coming from sports. Atmosphere is low key and low maintenance. Service is always good. Bar pizza and the fried food is good. Must try cauliflower poppers and Chicken bites! 5/29/2026 Went for lunch. Prices bigger portions smaller. No more potato puffs. Ordered Cheeseburger medium and a Fish sandwich, Got drinks. 40 minutes goes by no food. Can't catch waiters eye no apologies for the wait place was not busy. Finally food shows up like it's normal to take so long for simple fare. No tarter with order of fish. Dry and overcooked had to hunt down the waiter to get it. Cheeseburger absolutely black on one side. Who can't cook a cheeseburger, Starving ate it anyway. Waiter never asked how the food was. I feel like they're all unhappy. Tipped anyway. Had words with the cook on the way out. Let him know how I felt about not knowing what medium means. Never going there again as it's no loss. Have been many times and lately in the past year has gone way down hill. read more

It's not really a dive bar, just a small local place with good food, good beer/drinks and good people all at a reasonable price. Great bar pizzas and assorted pub fare. Good spot to watch a game and play keno. Bar seats fill up fast and assorted high tops and tables around it. Seems like it's always packed but worth a trip. Give it a try! read more

It was bustling with customers, very busy it seemed since it was a Saturday night immediately following christmas 2025. We waited approximately 1 hr but we were kept updated periodically, & we access to to bar so we're able to enjoy a cold beer as well. We were eventually seated and the staff was awesome completely focused on our presence and were eager to get our orders etc and i was impressed. News Flash the chili is phenomenal best i ever had, i am already craving for another helping! Additionally the Ruben was also phenomenal, i did not know a sandwich could be so delicious, i was extremely impressed and can't wait to go back! Free popcorn and massive - MASSIVE! - quantities of fried foods, well prepared. Probably a top 5 spot on the south shore for excellent chickie fingies. Got the buff on the side, and could barely polish off half the serving. Fries basket had to have weighed 17.52lb. Exquisite fried pickles - salt on salt on salt. All this slaked with ice cold bottles of domestic light beer. What a time to be alive! Briefly, because again, it's all fried. This begs the question: why would a kitchen putting out ridiculous amounts of fat-cooked, saline-kissed deliciousness also provide free popcorn?! Some things don't make sense. First of all, I am a bar pie snob. It has to be perfect or I don't like it. Proper lacing on the edges, correct recipe for sauce, right cheese mixture. If not, I will not be back to your restaurant. I will be back to Damien's....often. I rank this pizza with the greats. Lynwood, Town Spa, Cape Cod Cafe. The atmosphere was just what I like, rustic charm properly aged. The service was outstanding. So I've been here a few more times since my not-so-pleasant first experience. I always like to give places multiple chances as I understand any/every place can have an off-night. Overall, I've discovered the pizza is hit or miss. I've had some great pizza; thin crust, no flop, addictive sauce/cheese combo. And I've had pizza with visible flop where my husband commented he thought it was lacking sauce/flavor and I agreed. One thing I do love about this place is the complimentary self-serve popcorn! I'm giving 5 stars even though the pizza is questionable because of this: my husband and I started chatting with the guy sitting next to us at the bar. He was saying how the owner takes really good care of his employees and how some of the bartenders have left other local establishments to come work here. I think this speaks volumes on what kind of person the owner is and makes me want to support this business even more. read more

First time here and at 5:30 on a Friday night we got the last parking spot in a hugh lot so that concerned me. We walked in and we were able to get a table right away. Our waitress was great she gave us a heads up that if we wanted pizza it would be over an hour so I placed an order right away. They have free popcorn which is great when you have an hour wait. The environment is very loud and fun with music and patrons enjoying themselves. Keno TVs all around and a separate keno station so you don't have to use your waitress to run your ticket for you. My pizza was good but not as good as I hoped it would be but my guess is because it was somewhat rushed. Pastrami sandwich was very tasty. There are other food options that we would like to try so we will definitely go back. The cost of 2 beers, 2 wines, pizza and a pastrami sandwich was under $50 which I felt was very affordable and that will definitely get me back there. Plus I enjoyed the atmosphere and that will bring me back as well! read more

We had a wonderful experience at Damien's on Monday following a funeral service. I called on Saturday to ask if they could accommodate 20-25 people and Damien himself told me they would have tables ready. We showed up with a few more people than we anticipated, and they sent out complimentary pizzas for us. The server, Sheri (I'm sorry if I'm mis-spelling!) was incredibly patient and accommodating to our diverse group. True Score: 4.0 Stars Good local townie bar. Not a dive by any means... The pizza is great here. If you want some good pizza and drinks with no frills this is your spot. The only set back is the bar space because it can get really crowded and the cafeteria style tables. I would like to try more of their food because it looked good from what I could see. bro like literally phenomenal, I walked in and got immediately seated. came here from Hialeah and the place looked great it had such an amazing vibe. when I sat down, i got my food within 10 minutes some of the best service ive ever gotten in my entire life and when I tried it... all I can say is it brought my to tears. We are in town for my bonus daughter's graduation and we stopped in for pizza and a beverage. Rachelle was the BEST!!! The food was amazing and my drink...well I only needed one lol. Was recently at Damien's with a bunch of former high school classmates. Everything on the menu looked great so I figured I start with an appetizer. I selected the Cauliflower bites with Asian Chili sauce and was I ever pleasantly surprised. I opted for more Aisian sauce on the side instead of the ranch that normally comes with the order. 1st, the portion size was huge and secondly it was done just right. Damien's is a good local bar that fills that need each neighborhood has for a place where the community can gather to celebrate, to mourn, for good times and bad and everything in between. The service was friendly and though the place was busy enough, my drink did not stay empty for long. Their bar pizza also looked pretty good, nice and crispy. Ifbusiness brings me back here, I will definitely give their bar pizza a try. The neighborhood bar has long been as established as a place for a community to gather. This community is very fortunate to have a place such as Damien's. Overall, I would definitely recommend Damien's. This is a good neighborhood bar where the drinks are cold and the staff and customers are great. I am going to give it five stars for the overall experience. Go check them out. read more

Always good, always consistent for both eat-in and takeout! Its a nice little pub atmosphere inside and the waitresses are very efficient!

Had a wonderful lunch here earlier today and our waitress Mackenzie was both super friendly and attentive. The fried pickles ($8) kicked things off and came out piping hot and with a tasty dipping sauce. The three different pizzas we ordered were also very tasty, including the pickle and pastrami one and the buffalo chicken one (although I wish it were spicier) The atmosphere is low-key and nicer than dive-y. There's ample parking and bottomless popcorn available as well. Oh and daily specials as well. What's not to love? read more

Have heard they have a good bar pizza- so i decided to stop in and give them a try. I ordered the pizza special of the day- meatball & ricotta. It was a decent pizza but definitely should not be in the conversation with other great south shore bar pizza restaurants. Food-Service-Prices were just ok. I've never eaten inside this place I've only had take out, I've tried most of the food on menu and all good except for one night I bought my family dinner (burgers requested well done) and upon biting into my burger I heard MOOOO from how raw it was ‍ I called and spoke to one of the workers and they apologized stating it was a busy night which is understandable, however they also stated since it was a large order they would have the owner call me back next day for refund and I never heard back. I came in to enjoy a beer at this establishment, while I was waiting for my pizza the female bartender who assisted me made me feel so unwelcome. Upon request of my identification, I handed her my valid California drivers license ( I'm over 30 years old) she proceeded to denied me service stating that "it was not and ID from Massachusetts" I felt humiliated and embarrassed in from of my sisters whom I was visiting for the holidays. I couldn't believe that they would denied me service over such a minuscule reason. Her rudeness and behavior towards a paying customer is unacceptable and not only that is also Illegal.. food is good but the service I received was horrible and unprofessional. I would hope next time I'm in town visiting my family and decide to stop by and enjoy a beer I would ge treated better. read more

I can admit I'm a pizza snob, and Damiens bar pizza does not disappoint. I went here a lot in college and I've had it a few times recently with my parents since it's near their house. Great local bar pizza, great crust too. When I'm in California this is the kind of pizza I miss the most. Really cozy atmosphere if you eat in or go to the bar, take out is available in the back, easy wheelchair/disability accessible. Staff has always been super nice. Please never paint or get rid of that gorgeous ceiling, what character!! Definitely recommended. read more
