In this case, as in most of the bar pies I've had, there was nothing wrong with it, per se. Visited the next page for the first time yesterday early evening. This place is definitely a locals spot. There are a lot of regulars hanging around and I'm not mad about it. They were all super friendly and saying hello to my 21 month old. The pizza here is amazing. I will say that unfortunately the two pizza we got were slightly undercooked but I'd rather it be that way so when you bring it home to air fry it's even better. I had the buffalo chicken and my husband got the next page pizza which was pretty much a steak bomb. My son had the classic cheese. All were ordered "crispy with laced edges". My son absolutely LOVED his pizza and we had some of course it was fantastic!! There was an older man bartending and helping us when we first came in and younger woman with brown hair that took over for him both were super friendly and helpful!! We will definitely be back !! I ordered 4 pizzas at 2:15 Saturday afternoon , I arrived to pick up the pizzas at 2:30, and there were six pizzas on the bar. I paid for my pizzas and waited about 15 minutes or so then the bartender says oh these are yours the six pieces that have been sitting on the bar for now 20 minutes, and I said I only ordered four so they took them in the back and half an hour later to bring back six pieces and they took two off the top and gave them to me and when I left I then realized those were the original pizzas that have been sitting there for now more than an hour, so I waited well over an hour paid almost $50 for four cold pizzas that were burnt to hell and completely disgusting. this was my first and only time going to the establishment and honestly the last not exactly sure how they got an award for Best bar pizza,... would NOT recommend read more

I dunno what happened to this place but I was a fan a couple years back. I have recently went twice in the last few months and the pizza has absolutely sucked. I don't know if there is a new chef but whatever they have changed I am not a fan. There's a weird aftertaste and it's went very far down hill. There's service has always been fine and the bar itself is a decent spot but the fact that barstool kid was here and the pizza has went that far down hill is not good. Hands down best "south shore bar pizza" F*ck town spa, cape cod pizza, Lynwood, alumni. NOPE. Don't even hold a candle to this place. Service can be spotty, especially Sundays. But no real solid complaints except that there is ZERO lock on the men's door and I had to drop one off heavily only to be walked in on 3 times. The women's bathroom is prestigious from what my wife told me, and the men's rooms is left out to dry. Overall, pizza is slept on and underrated. Just get here. We ordered five different pizzas after a friendly discussion of toppings with the helpful waitress. What a disappointment when the pizzas came. Two were crispy and three were burnt. Tasted burnt and the entire bottoms were black burnt. The waitress did offer to have them remade but we declined. The dough is on the thicker side for bar pizza but the sauce and cheese combo was pretty good. Cool local dive bar with live music ($10 cover, usually, post-pandemic) and good pizza. There are other things on the menu, but I'm always too tempted by the pizza. This is the place where I learned about putting feta cheese on pizza, so I'm forever grateful :D Look on their Facebook page each month for the band lineup. Worse service I have ever had. Female bartender had a horrible attitude. When I would try to get a beer, it took forever and then she would ask with and attitude "Do you want money back?" The right thing to do is give change and let the customer decide. When we try to order food, she treated us extremely rude and then talked shit about us to the patrons at the bar and was pointing over to our table. I would never go back to this place or ever tell someone to go to this establishment just on this women's attitude. This place is dirty and the staff can't even be bothered to look you in the eye to greet you then you have to sit at the bar and wait 10 to 20 to 30 minutes until somebody decides it's time for you to be waited on. This place is a working class pub in a working class town. Some of these reviews make it out to be some seedy dive patronized by nothing but the lowest forms of life on Earth. I personally have never been to a bar that doesn't have a few drunks sitting around. Just because the drunks at Felt or Saint are wearing $200 t-shirts that are two sizes too small doesn't mean they're not drunks. If you're looking for a $20 pizza from The Fours or a steak from Morton's than why are you in Jackson Square in Weymouth? It's $5 for a pretty good pizza, they always have at least one good craft brew on tap, and they have pool, darts, and plenty of TVs for watching a game. The bartenders are friendly and funny and the patrons are pretty cordial. On Tuesdays they have $2 pizzas. I grew up in Brockton right down the street from the Cape Cod Cafe - probably the best bar pizza in the area. When I moved to Braintree there was nothing close by but cheap, bad pizza. When I found this place I was pretty psyched because I missed the feeling of security of having a good bar pie around the corner for emergency purposes. I guess I would consider myself a regular there. I probably grab a pizza and a few beers there with friends once a week or so. I even play Keno occasionally. I guess if that's what it means to some of these reviewers to be some sort of degenerate that would frequent such an establishment, than call me a degenerate. read more
