Service was terrible! I couldn't even get the bartenders attention. She gives zero eye contact as she works in the bar area. She was too busy talking with co-workers or in the kitchen and there wasn't a lot of people there!! Yes, it's nice to have a clean bar but taking care of your patrons should come first especially when it's not busy!!! Disappointing, won't go back. read more

The worse. Leslie our waitress was useless. Our food took forever to be served even though two tables next to us who arrived well after us were served before us. What made it worse, once our food arrived it was cold. Our guest ordered a delmonico steak and it was a slice of leftover prime rib. It was all dried out. The worse meal. read more

Truly amazing! The food was excellent as all 6 of our party reported. I really love Corn Chowder and theirs was the best I've ever had! There are no tables for 6 but the wait staff wasted no time in putting two for -4 tables together. And the place was busy! Even so the wait for a table was less than 15 minutes. Seems to be a neighborhood spot. New-to-town and brought family member to show off area. Food is very good. They claim bar pizza, but nothing compared to other area 'South Shore bar pizza' that I've experienced since moving here. And that has been a mission so have sampled many. But I'm no expert! Atmosphere not-so-much. Bright lights in dining area which is distracting. It's that bright. Went another time for a cocktail, sat at the bar. The 3 1/2 star rating seems pretty accurate to me. The food was completely average. Nothing special with the burger and chicken sandwich. The pretzel app and beer cheese was good however. We went for the first time on rainy Saturday night. The place was almost full,but we did get seats quickly. The service was very good taking our drink and food orders. The pizza was bar size with one topping (meatball parm) and was $11.00. I had one of the specials the fried clam basket. There were just 10 whole belly clams with fries in a small basket, and the clams were over cooked, for $24.00. Frankly we were expecting more for what we spent. Sometimes I wish you could separate the stars into two categories. I would give them a 3.75 stars for service. As for the food it gets a 2.5. Bland, underwhelming, and forgettable. Also I would Specifically give their pizza a 2.0. It was soggy and unseasoned. Throw some sauce and cheese on a pice of cardboard and it would have been better. Will not be going back. read more

I loved Cornerstones from the time I walked in over 25 years ago until forever. They make that13 inch Bar Pizza as good if not better than the best, I.e., Cape Cod Cafe, Emma's, Central Cafe,etc. Even better they have a bar and bartenders who embrace the clientele and make you feel at home. My wife and I stopped in for Saturday lunch. We started with a basket of fries and chili. The fries here are good and the chili is made in house. Really good. Cornerstones is really all about the pizza and fries r a good reason. They serve a south shore bar pizza much like cape cod cafe, Linwood, Emma's etc.. They were perfect my favorite is the meat lover. Pepperoni, sausage, bacon and hamburger. Awesome! read more

Certainly not the same as it used to be! It's unfortunate since atmosphere is great! The bartenders are always great but the waitstaff is STILL SO RUDE! They need to revamp the employees on the floor!!!!! It's getting a little old! Pizza nothing like it was back in the day! I have overheard the owners and how they speak to the employees and it's horrible! Miss the original Owner and how it once was one of the best places to go locally! We are new to Carver and decided to give this local pub a try during this crazy Covid-19 pandemic. Supporting our local small businesses is important and I'm glad that we tried them out. We ordered the veggie pizza and it was terrific. The safety measures put in place (including sanitizing the pens and your credit card before giving it back) is a key component and very much appreciated. The staff was welcoming and friendly, again great service is never under appreciated. We are looking forward to our next pizza night with them in our new hometown! Good job! read more
