Out of 15, there were only a couple and even though Dr Brittany Smirnov didn't have reviews, I saw her smiley profile picture & clean/small office setting, and decided to give her a chance! I am happy I did. The girls at the front are very nice and welcoming, and the wait was only 30 minutes (half of that was spent doing the new patient paperwork). The PA did a thorough job once I was in the room asking what my concerns/needs were for the Dr. Which I thought was nice that I didn't have to tell the receptionist upon booking, since these things are kind of sensitive to talk about to a random person. Dr Brittany came into the room with a big smile. I felt very at ease talking to her and did not feel insecure discussing my dermatology needs and getting half naked to show her LOL. I even told her I picked her because of her smiling face and we both agreed how YELP is so helpful in finding different services. I'd recommend anyone to go see her! But lo and behold, I found this clinic that must have been sent from the heavens, because after being tossed around from doctor to doctor, they're the only ones who have been able to clear my skin! One of the things to keep in mind is that because this clinic is mostly for cosmetic procedures, they do not accept insurance. I must admit, I was a little bit skeptical when they said they don't accept insurance, but I'm so glad I gave them a try or else I would've missed this gem. Every penny I paid had been worth it. I was assessed by Dr. Hayre (the dermatologist), and she prescribed me some topicals as well as an oral medication. She also recommended I do isolaz once a week, which I have been doing regularly. Ratana does my isolaz treatments each week, and she is fantastic! I always look forward to the appointments with her, she's so fun to talk to and is super gentle with the treatment and the extractions (which usually hurt so bad!!). I also have to thank them for being so accommodating toward me. My job is very hectic and sometimes I end up having to stay longer than expected, which makes it hard for me to make it to appointments on time sometimes. That's smart policy and probably their stocks will move upwards again. Walgreens has quite a lot of locations in the DC area Here you'll find a clean and organized store. Very nice pharmacy. Employees are polite and do a good job keeping up with check out. Sometimes the parking lot is a challenge, but that's typical of northern Virginia. If you're in the area, they usually are cheaper than CVS. That alone helps.
