That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

This place is amazing!! I went and had my eyebrows and lashes done by Angelina Yuge and she is brilliant!!!! In the past I had aweeeful eyebrows so I deceided to grow them out and have them done by a pro. enough is enough I could no longer figure out how to do them on my own I looked up eyebrow specailists and Damone Roberts was top 10 and rated 5 star and for the price I knew I found the place to go and trust me it was worth it!!!! Angelina Yuge@ Damone Roberts is my stylist now she was very professional and swee.t I wasnt sure how I wanted my brows so I turned to her for advice she was very imformative and since she has amazing brows herself I knew I could trust her. She is very pleasent and works by proceedure and experiance :) with her great style personaility and creative experiance she made me look and feel like a million bucks my eyebrows look like models brows now and Im still feeling beautiful from the experience. I went in and had an appointment with a girl named Sarah for my first eyebrow styling. This girl I am dating recommended I get it done. (Yes I am straight). I felt weird going in there at first because I always found that kind of grooming feminine. Sarah put me right at ease, she calmed me down and made me feel comfortable. I told her that it was my first time doing something like this and she laughed and told me that guys come in here all the time. She was friendly and beautiful which helped. She was also really gentle and it wasn't uncomfortable like I thought it would be. It took about 15 minutes and afterward I was amazed! It really opens up your face. I can see there is an art to it. Its not something you can do at home. I realized this afterward. Now, I am scheduling every two weeks to go in to see her. If your gonna go there make sure you guys ask for Sarah, she really made the experience pleasant. And let me tell you guys... I'm getting more looks and I haven't changed anything else. I went for the first time recently I seen Marina for waxing and lash extensions. I LOVE MARINA she is amazing she got the wax right on and off before I could even know what just happened she was thorough and I like that she was was not fake like most the BH salons you have all these people pretending to be sweet nope not Marina she is a bit blunt and to the point just like her wax job she also did not try and sell me on anything so I decided on my own to try out the lash extensions and boy was I happy for that investment my eye's look great first thing in the morning. While visiting the bathroom at Damone Roberts I noticed all the celebrities signatures and cute little quotes plastered all around and found it entertaining. I also went back to give Marina her tip and noticed she also does Frida Pinto ... can I say WOW that was really impressive. I never realized how impotent eyebrows are until i stopped in and payed a visit to Marina. I left feeling like a new woman and everyone i talked to the rest of my day kept asking if something was different i had to ensure all the women i work with that i did not get botox or some lunch hour lift they kept bugging me about. I decided to Google brows and there I found Eyebrow King!!! I chuckled, But upon further research he really was the Brow King.... Madona, Beyonce, JLo count less others... I had to give it a try.....OMG!!! I could not believe my eyes when I saw what he did to my brows I looked 100% Fabulous !!! This is my second visit to Damone, and I am still so impressed. I iniitially heard about him a ew years about from the Oprah show, however at that time I was a faithfu customer at another eyebrow salon. Unfortunately my eyebrow lady moved in marcha dn I was left without anyone to go too. I surfed the net and Damone name came up I was a bit skeptical because of the price but I made an appointment and my eyebrows were so happy LOL. I received so many compliments after my first visist ao I knew that I was coming back. I have been going to Kristina "the eyebrow Diva" for 4 times now. She is amazing. My eyebrows have never looked better. My face just opens up and I feel great after she does her magic. I had been going to the same place for 5 years, then my lady moved to OC. So I began my search, I probably went to over 10 places in the past year. My first time visiting the Beverly Hills Salon. I was arriving straigh from LAX, with luggage in hand, the staff that greeted me were AMAZINGLY hospitial and friendly. They took my bags sat me down with infuzed cucumber water (I so needed it) and allowed me to catch my breath. I went to Marina for my bikini and eyebrows I LOVE her fast hair snatching experience I was in and out and she made my brows somehow look fuller. I went to see Angelina for my lash Lift also known as lash perm and I loved that too. great atmosphere the only down side is parking. I went to this Salon to get my eyebrows done. I have been wanting to go here for the longest time, and finally got the chance. She had to move the appointment 1-2 hours past when I was scheduled to be there, but the service was worth it and she texted me to let me know a few hours beforehand. Great communication, but if you have a tight schedule, I'd keep that in mind. Her corner of the salon is cozy and relaxing, and she's very kind. Compared to other places I've gone in WeHo, she's competitively priced ($80-90 versus $120 at other salons) and does a heck of a better of a job. The lift and tint itself was amazing!! I've had these done a few times and I have blonde eyelashes. For me these usually last about 1-1.5 weeks, but I'm a month in and they're still curled and slightly tinted. Fantastic!

I have been going to her for years now, and honestly wouldn't let another lash tech near my sensitive eyes! (A big reason why I trust her is because of that - and it's definitely scary experimenting when you already have the best). I have tried out both lash extensions in various formats and the lash lift/tint. Lash Extensions: Melika is extremely attentive to her client's needs, preferences, and questions. I never knew much about extensions - so naturally I had a million questions for her. She was always very patient with me and my inquisitive nature - BLESS HER SOUL - and always had such great knowledge in addressing everything. I had started with a more natural set before experimenting with more full volume / hybrid ones. She knows that I don't like anything too dramatic and when she would help me venture out - the lashes always exceeded my expectations and surprised me in the best possible way. (Truthfully I had a few other experiences - but also noted that my lashes sometimes would fall out extremely fast or the adhesive used was very harsh on my eyes). Melika is receptive to her clients and definitely took the time to find an adhesive that's super gentle! - At least in my experience. Lash Lift & Tint: I had no idea what I was getting into here - however I wanted to try it as I have been using Latisse lately and trying to grow my lashes. I wanted a little extra UHMP! so figured this would be a good option - AND OH MY GOODNESS. I ABSOLUTELY loved the natural lift she provided with this service. Once again, the products she used were gentle and the experience was fun - as always. Among her services and work showing for themselves at the end of the appointment - Melika herself has such a positive and warm energy and she's literally so funny! She also literally lets me sleep when I need to as she does her work - I am guilty of being super tired sometimes and I so appreciate that she lets me hit SNOOZE while she works her magic. 10/10 I definitely recommend. On top if it - I love that she always has new recommendations for keeping my lashes healthy and strong, and gifts a new lash brush in the cutest packaging everytime - and she's always so available to her clients!
