I used to go to Damone way back when he was at Sager French on Robertson...and then he got it together and opened his own shop on Wilshire across from Saks Fifth Ave. I had trouble getting into see him the first time out and ended up going to one of his "brow divas," Christina...and she ROCKS! I always get in and she's less expensive then Damone himself. To see him the first time is a whopping $60 and then $50 thereafter whereas seeing Christina starts at $45 for the first trip and $35 thereafter...bargain in comparison. The shop also has goodies to make yer brows PURDY!! Eyebrow tweezers, brushes, filler, pencils and brow highlighters...oh, and candles for ambiance! lol All can be purchased separately or in a package dealio. Advice...park in Saks' garage and pay for their ticket or get it validated in the store, otherwise parking in BH is a biatch. read more

After a terrible experience at a cheap Asian Nail Salon for a lash perm (they tried twice and nothing happened to my lashes) I was desperately looking for a good place to get my lashes curled. I have very stubborn Asian lashes that go straight down. Although Damone Roberts is a bit pricey and a lash lift ist more expensive than an old-school lash perm I wanted to try it out. The girl I had my appointment with, Angelina, did an amazing job!! Lash perms usually take around 45-60 minutes al together. The Lash Lift she used on me was only 20 min. At the same time she gave me a little free eyebrow clean up and shape. I was so surprised when I saw how curled my lashes were. Everything was quick and no burning sensation at all (it often happens when getting a lash perm). The greatest thing was, that the curl stays sooooo much longer than a regular perm. So even if it's more expensive, you end up going less so it saves you a lot of time. After 7 weeks, I still have a curl. I totally recommend getting an an appointment with Angelina!! read more

Lashelle took his time and was super sweet. I just didn't like my brows. I was disappointed. Again, he took his time but my skin was irritated, my brows hurt (not like usual) and the experience wasn't for me. 5 stars for the time he took but it wasn't what I wanted. I wanted to maintain my thick brow look but still have a great shape. He was very gentle with me and checked on how I was throughout. I left extremely satisfied! The staff in general make you feel very comfortable and give you that luxurious feeling. The facility is very clean and neat and creates an overall great vibe.
