They have lots of equipment at the pro shop if you need anything, whether they be shoes, socks, ball, markers, tees, or clothing. If there is a line of people waiting for you to finish your hole, you shouldn't be spending several minutes looking for your ball. Give it a reasonable amount of time, and if you can't find it, drop a new one and keep it moving. Also, if you know you don't hit the ball very far, you don't necessarily need to wait for the group in front of you to completely finish before teeing off. Be aware of your own distance and pace of play. If your average shot lands 50 feet in front of you, you're probably not going to reach the group ahead. Use common sense and keep things moving. The grass is nice, except toward the end of summer when it can get pretty dry. The employees are super friendly and helpful, the carts are clean, the beer selection is nice, and there are great deals and good weather!!

The last time I played here it was in the middle of winter and the course conditions and greens weren't great but in the middle of summer, the course is definitely a gem considering it's one of the more affordable courses in the Bay Area. Whenever I think about wanting to play a course, price and green conditions come into play. On this latest visit, for the most part the greens were in really good shape and well maintained. The back 9 greens were not as good as the front, but still great for a muni type course. Tee boxes could use a little work but overall, definitely wouldn't hesitate to play this course again. If it's your first time playing the course, definitely opt to take a power cart because the hills are no joke and walking in the heat is a work out in of out itself lol Lastly, I want to shout out the 12th hole snack shack. The lady running that is one of the sweetest and funniest people I've met on the golf course and their hot links were really good. Freshly grilled, topped with onions and peppers, just a really good snack to have in the middle of the round. The pricing for food and drinks is really good and not overpriced.

A welcome feel for a January afternoon during Rev Dr Martin Luther King weekend! Superb drainage is just one of the great features of the course ...with all the December and early January precipitation and foul weather our playing partners indicated that they seldom missed their regular appointed rounds. We were fortunate to be paired with two very splendid amateur women players - one from Stanford and another a consultant with Apple Management... So you never know who you're going to meet at Corica. My friend - a local denizen - was just beginning to explore the challenges of the game. ... it was a difficult course to learn and implement swing changes on. Though the driving range provides elite swing technology, it lacks key indicators such as spin and ball speed, that are helpful in teaching a new player, but it's still a feature that most driving ranges around the country lack. The par threes were particularly bland and I found the 17th almost unplayable. I also thought the weekend greens fee was exorbitant close to $151 +2 cart fees, plus a 75 nonrefundable non-applicable reservation fee, which is total nonsense. The pro shop is as unimaginable as any I've ever visited thank God for the restaurant and the wonderful people that run that place

The course itself was in pretty good condition. They are renovating a bunch of their tee boxes, so the course is currently playing shorter than it normally would. It made the course a lot easier, as I was hitting driver and wedge into most of the par 4s. Ended up shooting (-1) from the white tees, which was a solid score. The course is pretty wide open, so if you aren't driving the ball straight it doesn't hurt you as much. It's great for all skill levels, and can be challenging at times but a great course to learn on if you are just starting. The greens were aerated earlier in the week so they weren't rolling true but we were able to make it work. The bunkers had a good amount of sand, and the fairways were well kept. Pace of play was on the slower side, so plan for 5+ hours to be on the safe side. I'd prefer a morning tee time as the wind picks up in the afternoon and makes the course a bit harder. My only gripe is that there was no mention of aeration of the greens on their website or when I booked my tee time. Honestly we probably wouldn't have come if we knew the greens were just aerated, especially since we had to drive across the bridge to get here. Overall, definitely a solid course that I would play again and again.

Michael's teaching style is very adaptable to what my personal goals were. Simply put, I wanted to improve my swing and make it more consistent to improve my ball contact. Knowing it would be a process, my first lesson went a long way to boost my confidence in his teaching style and his ability to translate techniques into a basic thought. He broke down my swing and taught me the reasons why it was inconsistent - using simple concepts and drills to get me in a better position. I've been taking lessons every other week with him and have seen my handicap index drop two full points.
