Great bagels. Friendly service. Does it purposely feel like a hole in the wall bagel shop? Have had these amazing bagels brought to me at work and was able to make it on a holiday off for a great sandwich. Real New York style bagels. Not the bread the "genius" guys serve. They even have a nice employee named Brooklyn there. It's good stuff. Just wished they opened at 6 so I could stop by before work. :(

I had been waiting for almost a week to try Dan's. What a great choice. Wait, what a GREAT choice!! Hopefully, you'll understand the emphasis on GREAT; it was perfection. I made it a point to get up early, due to the reviews about them selling out of their popular items within hours of opening. I drove to Grapevine, and what do you know, they were closed/remodeling. I didn't see anything on Google or on Yelp about their remodeling. I was bummed and didn't feel like driving to Trophy Club after driving to Grapevine. Come to find out, I wasn't the only person who drove that way, just to find out they were closed. Even at the Trophy Club location, there were a few others who commented about Grapevine not being open. I was going to head somewhere else, but the gentleman I chatted with at the Grapevine location raved about Dan's, so that convinced me to make the drive to Trophy Club. Before visiting (first timers), I suggest you take a look at their menu and read online reviews. Because you can choose your own bagel and cream cheese, you want the best combination possible. It can be a trial n' error, but I prefer to skip the error. Classic Nova Lox (Rosemary Salt Bagel) - The young lady at the register was great. I had no idea what I was doing. I knew I wanted a Lox, but didn't think to review their bagels or cream cheese. I didn't know we were able to choose our cream cheese and bagel. I asked what was popular, and I chose based on that. It was delicious, that first bite was HEAVEN! However, the suggested bagel added a bit too much salt in places. The rosemary salt bagel, with smoked salmon and capers, was too much. I had half of it for breakfast and the other half for dinner, it was still so good!!! Pastrami Reuben Sandwich (Asiago Bagel) - If you thought I danced a crazy dance after the first bite of the Lox, you would have really been shocked at this dance. THIS WAS PERFECTION! The pastrami was of great quality, and everything fit so well together. One thing I will change next time, I will not get the Asiago, the combination was a bit off. Even with that mishap, it was a dang good sandwich. I HIGHLY suggest this, if you're a fan of a great Reuben. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Next time, I will make sure to read more reviews and peruse the menu before visiting. I can't WAIT to get back to Dan's, I'm almost afraid to visit the Grapevine location. If they don't reach the stars like Trophy Club, we will have some issues. LOL! The shop is small, but it almost makes you feel like NY. If you ever visited a popular bagel shop in NY, during the morning rush, you'll certainly understand what I mean. Oh man, to be back in NY..thank you Dan, you brought some of the best of NY to our metroplex. Awesome!

Dan's bagels were pretty good! We went around 10:30/11 on a Saturday and waited in like for about 30-45 minutes. The line was very organized despite it being fairly small on the inside. I was also pleasantly surprised that they were not sold out by the time we got up to the front to order. They did mess up both my order and my friends over which was a little disappointing but understandable considering how busy they were and how new they are.

It's my 2nd time here and I feel like a pro. Like all new things, it takes a little getting used to. The flavors are amazing, im speaking of getting used to the menu, the massive variety of bagels and hars rolls, and the mega types of cream cheeses. So today o ordered Chicken salad on a hard roll. And I had it toasted and cut in half. Sooooooo good! I also ordered two bagels: asiago and also salted, plus herb & garlic cream cheese. These are for breakfast, if they make it that long. The bagel shop is clean and well organized. There are arrows on the floor so you know which way to go. Apparently, im not that good at follow8ng these, mainly because I want to be up close and personal with the bagel window. Service is fast and friendly. Any questions you might have will be answered on the spot. Come check it out for yourself!

Yes, they are dang good. You know I was trying to go in and not be expecting the best but they were really were great bagels. Soft, sourdough, large, and fresh. I ordered the everything bagel and had a good enough amount of everything shake on it. Pretty perfect. The salt and rosemary bagel was too salty for me while it may be everyone's favorite. I did not like it. The Assagio bagel was the bomb. I had it with bacon, egg and cream cheese and it was delicious. I will say that the amount of bacon that they put on it wasn't as abundant as some of the photos but what the heck it was still delicious. Swirl and regular bagels were excellent too, and had a great sourdough taste. I was surprised they didn't have a Veggie Schmear, but I'm not gonna knock them for that. Regular Shmear and Chive Shmear were great. We had to wait in line, but the service was quick. Special Note: we took a couple home and they lasted several days. One day I decided to use a regular bagel when we are making French toast and I battered the bagel and fried it up and it was fantastic.

When you're in the area you have to come to Dan's Bagels. Their bagels are phenomenal and they're fresh. They have many different options to choose from. The store is small and have seating outside to eat your bagel. Staff is welcoming and friendly. I ordered the nova lox on an everything bagel . There's is options to select add ons. I added cucumber and everything bagel seasoning on mine. I love my bagel to have a lot cream cheese and my bagel had a lot of cream cheese without me having to tell them.

Dan's Bagels is an amazing stop in Trophy Club, that is a great place to swing by if you are needing breakfast for yourself, a thing of bagels for the team if you have a meeting in the area or for one of their bagel sandwiches. The line moves quickly and orders come out quickly. There is a couple, and by a couple possibly 4-10 seats to be able sit there and enjoy your order but this reminds me very much of the NY shops that encourage enjoying on the go, but with a super friendly staff. I grabbed three for later while over here for a meeting. Two I used for dinner for open face sandwiches. Both that we used ... a jalapeno cheese and a garlic ended up being hits in our house. The third was a chocolate chip bagel that my youngest and I split the next morning with an "individual" sized oreo cream cheese spread. Again a hit. Just be sure to ask them to slice them for you if you are taking them to go for later!

I drive by this place everytime I go to the grocery store and thought, today is the day I treat myself to a Dan bagel!! The place was bussin' which is always a great sign, even with how busy it was, line went quickly. I went with the garlic salt bagel with garlic herb cream cheese, yea, new year, new me, stay away vampires!! So the bagel itself was way too salty for my personal taste, but the cream cheese evened it out and boy do they give you your money's worth of cream cheese!! It was EXCELLENT!! I will definitely return to try another bagel, and another, and another!! The place is quite small so in and out is preferred but there are little patio tables outside of the store if you wanted to chill.

Authentic NYC Bagels in DFW? Fuggedaboutit... Well, Almost! Alright, let me tell you something. Finding a decent NYC-style bagel in DFW? Like, for real? It's basically impossible. But THIS place? They're as close as it gets--except, of course, when they're sold out of everything you actually want. I roll in at 11 AM on a Sunday (prime bagel time, am I right?), and the rosemary salt and pizza bagels I had my heart set on? GONE. Sold out. Tragic. Apparently, they have some fancy QR code that links you to a live camera to check their stock? Cute. But I didn't know that when I showed up, now did I? So I had to "settle" for a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a bagel (which was, let's be real, pretty solid), and a scallion cream cheese on a sesame bagel. Not bad, but not the rosemary salt bagel I needed in my life. Now let me tell you about the poppy bagels we snagged to-go: they're practically wearing a coat of poppies on BOTH sides. That's how you know they get it! Real poppy seed action here. Here's the plan: I'm sending the hubby back down here next time at the crack of dawn to hoard all the flavors we missed. Bagel game strategy is serious business.

The overall quality of the food was magnificent. If you love bagels, this is for you! There's a good mixture between sweet and salty. My boyfriend prefers the salty so sometimes we will get a bacon egg and cheese and add a specific cream cheese. However, the sweet bagels are also really good. This place is delicious so be ready for a wait time, but it is so worth it.

First I have to give a shout out to my husband for being my order and delivery guy. He said there was quite a line and I love hearing that for a local business. I seriously loved this bagel. I picked the Rosemary salt bagel BLT. Rosemary is my favorite herb and there was just the perfect amount of salt on there. The bagel is fluffy and chewy just perfection. The lettuce was dark and crisp. The tomatoes were plump and juicy. There was a lot of bacon on there you got some in every single bite. Try this spot if you want to have a new obsession.

nice employees, usually pretty fast, ALWAYS good bagels!! smaller store, so its a little tight when there's a line, just something to be noted.

Our sandwiches had barely any meat on them, both hot sandwiches, no sauce. Trip 2: we both got sick immediately after eating our sandwiches. After scouring over their menu, I settled on the Tropical Shrimp Salad Wrap. I typically don't like going to restaurants that only serve sandwiches and salads, but the FLAVOR on their Shrimp Salad Wrap was so full of depth. From the sweet and tartness of the mango, to the savory dressing and seasoning on the shrimp, it was all delightful! Not much to say on service other than that the food came out relatively fast which is great for a quick lunch! Per my pictures, these were the same, but very different sandwiches. The sauerkraut was skim; I almost question if it made it to the sandwich, and if you're a Reuben lover like myself, that's what gives it the kick you're looking for. All I could taste was the dressing, the bagel, and there was a hint of meat. I literally looked at the sandwich and asked myself, what the heck was I looking at.
