It was served with a small arugula and cherry tomato salad!! YUM!! One friend had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were not as tasty as she expected. The la Parisian breakfast-scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and a huge croissant was delish. Large Bacon slices and nicely scrambled eggs-very nice. The mimosas were generous and served with a strawberry garnish-we had the pomegranate. Very refreshing and did I mention generous!! The coffee was replenished without prompting. This is a great place! The sweets are off the chart. Many options and all very good. I love to try cinnamon rolls. These are wonderful. The right amount of cinnamon and frosting. Came here with my girlfriends yesterday for lunch. Cute place- can't believe I've never been in. We started off with the warm Brie and I missed getting a picture, sorry. It was delicious but also a little weird because the bread they serve with it is super thick, like a Texas Toast. Anyway, I had the lunch combo with a cup of French Onion Soup and a half grilled chicken panini that they also served with some chips. The soup was amazing and the sandwich was okay. It was a bit dry (but I ate it all so I'm not really complaining!). Did I say the soup was yummy?? It was. They also have a nice list of Bordeaux from which to choose! The server was friendly, maybe a little scattered but we weren't in a rush so it didn't matter much. There was about a 40 minute wait but we did arrive at 12:30pm on a Sunday! Family member recommends we come and try them out. Upon entering we were greeted however quickly forgot about within 2.2 seconds. It was maybe 4 people behind the counter and they huddled in the corner yet never checked to see if we needed help with anything. The peppermint latte and the regular cappuccino were delicious. The cranberry orange scone was perfection better than when I make them. It's a small place. I wish there were more places to sit just to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry versus next-door where was a sit down service. We choose to just grab and go. I would come back again. read more

This is a lovely place to have breakfast. Our server was attentive and gave us her favorites on the menu. We ended up ordering Quiche Lorraine, a ham quiche, one pancake, and an almond croissant along with a cup of coffee. The coffee was good, but the bit of a dark roast for me . The pancake was pretty good as well as the almond croissant. However, the two quiches were the star of the show! These are big and hearty pieces of quiche - so delicious! The next morning, we popped by to get a few goodies. We ordered the danish, sticky bun and blueberry muffin. The sticky bun and muffin were are favorites. Stopped by for a coffee while enjoying the town Christmas lights, and was completely charmed! I got an iced Freddo with almond milk and added a bit of hazelnut flavor, and it was absolutely delicious. We also shared a pumpkin cinnamon roll which was really good as well! There were many other baked goodies I would have loved to try (the carrot cake looked so good!) and unfortunately we were only in town for a couple of hours. Delicious cookies that melt in your mouth. I had the white chocolate macadamia cookie with a crystallized crust, it was fabulous. I had a lavender hot latte that was also delicious. I sat and studied at at a table with another gal and we tapped away on our iPads awhile. Review: This was my second visit to Main Street Bakery and Bistro, and once again, the service was disappointing. The hostess was rude, the person taking our coffee order was rude, and even the person making the coffee was rude. What stood out most was the barista finishing my drink, capping it, then holding onto it while chatting with a co-worker about something completely unrelated. We just stood there waiting for her to finish her conversation before she finally handed me the drink--without so much as a thank you--before turning right back to her conversation. The lack of professionalism and courtesy has been consistent both times I've been here. Unfortunately, I won't be giving them a third chance. read more

I visited Main Street Bistro and Bakery around 9am on a Thursday, hoping to indulge in a breakfast item and delicious treats. However, my experience at this establishment left much to be desired due to its poor customer service and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction. As you can see in my photos, the bakery side was not busy, and I saw no less than ten employees, many of which walked past me, diverted eyes and seemed preoccupied and disinterested in assisting customers, including the barista in front of the cash register who couldn't be bothered to acknowledge anyone or give a polite we "will be right with you." Despite attempts to engage with employees passing by or the gentleman I assume was the manager based on his blue button-up shirt (the rest of the employees were dressed in black), I was met with curt or no response. Having waited for so long, I had a sunk time and eventually ordered when I should have left, but I only ordered from the bakery grab and go as there was no way I could wait any longer for a made-to-order meal. I had a cold croissant, and it was ok, but it wasn't worth the time and treatment. It was evident that customer service was not a priority at this bakery. Still, they will continue to thrive based on the Main St location, so I recommend a kiosk ordering system for bakery goods to be boxed and provided to customers, allowing people have an opportunity for baked goods while employees continue to have the seemingly desired minimal interaction. I won't patronize an establishment that treats people as invisible, not only is it unprofessional, but it is also unkind, I will not be back. read more

Of course Main Street Bistro is a Grapevine institution, and I love it! It pains me to give a four star rating. We were seated right away, which was great! We each ordered custom omelets with the waffle fries plus strawberries with romanoff sauce. The food was pretty good, though the omelet was dry, and we were both surprised that there was just a mound of cheese on top, most unmelted. The main reason I have a four is our server. I don't know if he was having a bad day or if waiting tables is not suited for him. He was pretty clueless and slow. read more

A met a friend for brunch and the whole space was delightful. We did not have to wait for a table, but the restaurant was busy the whole time we were there. Well, my last review was 5 stars. It was during Covid. Now that Main Street Grapevine is back to typical (busy) state, the issues listed in other reviews are also back... slow & not friendly service. My large Chi Latte tea came with a Starbucks sleeve, but I watched it mixed with "box" pre made Chi. The issue is; I ordered extra Chi, which (when it's not "pumped" into the drink) is not possible... thus not what I wanted/expected. I understand it takes time to make and that other orders in front of mine delay getting it, but even getting to order, was an unreasonable long wait. Staffing did not appear to be the issue, there were at least 4 unhappy looking folks behind the counter. Signs outside and inside advertise Cronuts. After two visits being told they were out, I was finally told they are only available on weekends. Came in Saturday and was first told they were sold out... but then told none were made that day. Promised available Sunday. Sunday, had to talk to thee different folks before someone finally said; they make some for us... 15 minute wait. They were good, but not as pictured... instead of icing on top, it was a small amount drizzled on. They do have great pastries and baked goods... in a great location. It's a bit of a rustic environment which is clean and well maintained. A small amount of inside and outside seating. If you can get past the unhappy acting / slow moving staff, they have great pastries. Wish management would address the concerns in this and other reviews (instead of relying on the never ending visitors / first time customers) to earn the 5 star rating. read more

I ordered the Eggs Benedict classic with Ham, and my friend had the omelette plate with a croissant and fruit. The food was reasonably priced compared to fancier brunch spots. I believe it was $11-15 range for many entrees. I also had a caramel macchiato, iced. They mistakenly brought out a hot one, but were quick to replace it. The caramel settled on the bottom and it felt a little too milk dominant, rather than a coffee. I still enjoyed it but not the best drink. Tuesday night, looking for a new place to enjoy dinner and came across this little French bistro. Start off with calamari, well I will tell you that I would not recommend the calamari, basically it was nothing but breading and that was it. It was pretty plain. Next I started off with some scotch which was really nice by this time I've had two and ready for the main course. I had the mussels and fries. The dish came out in a big pot, which obviously held the mussels, in wine sauce, and of course the glorious smell of garlic. The dish also came with three baguettes covered with cheese and of course a side of fries. The best part of it was taking the baguettes and dipping them in the white wine sauce with garlic and soaking the bread. Divine I highly recommend this dish, and in fact I would actually recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for a French Bistro that's not too crowded it's easy to find, and most of all good food except for the Calamari, I would recommend this place Will I be back? An amazing little bakery on Main Street in grapevine! They are a part of another restaurant that opens a little later than this one, but this is open to be able to grab something in the morning. They do have a small sitting area in the bistro & bakery side, but not as much as the restaurant next door. They have an amazing assortment of items to pick from. They have a display case, and the staff members ended up being really helpful. Especially with their descriptions of items that didn't have a clear label and knowing which items are allergy friendly. Both items I got ended up being really delicious. I ended up only getting water this time, but plan on trying one of their drinks the next time I come here. For sure worth coming if you find yourself on Main Street needing a light meal or snack, or even needing to kill time before the rest of the stores in the area open. read more

I live in downtown Tulsa so I don't have the opportunity to go here very often. My friends and I stopped by for dinner after the wine walk last week. I ordered a chicken club sandwich to go. The waitress was very nice and told me that she really liked it. I took it home and warmed up half of it in the air fryer the next day. I do not know what was wrong with that chicken but it was disgusting. I always worry that things will be dry the next day but this chicken was slimy and gross and had a really off taste . I tried to force myself to eat the other half the next day but I couldn't do it and threw it in the trash. Had I eaten this in the restaurant I definitely would have sent it back. I did enjoy the sweet potato fries so at least I got something for my $13 sandwich. read more
