Beautifully designed restaurant and ambience was also very good. We came here with my family for an early lunch/brunch. The wait times however can be really long and service can be a bit slow. Food was also very average. I got the steak and eggs which I did not unfortunately like as the steak seemed of a lower quality. The rest of my family also thought the food was average. The drinks were however good. I got the London fog tea which was truly amazing.

Family member recommends we come and try them out. Upon entering we were greeted however quickly forgot about within 2.2 seconds. It was maybe 4 people behind the counter and they huddled in the corner yet never checked to see if we needed help with anything. We literally stood in front of the register for a while just looking at them talk before we were side eyed and the famous Oh. Now the treats were delicious and wouldn't mind giving it another try: service 5/10, treats 10/10.

The peppermint latte and the regular cappuccino were delicious. The cranberry orange scone was perfection better than when I make them. It's a small place. I wish there were more places to sit just to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry versus next-door where was a sit down service. We choose to just grab and go. I would come back again.

This is a lovely place to have breakfast. Our server was attentive and gave us her favorites on the menu. We ended up ordering Quiche Lorraine, a ham quiche, one pancake, and an almond croissant along with a cup of coffee. The coffee was good, but the bit of a dark roast for me . The pancake was pretty good as well as the almond croissant. However, the two quiches were the star of the show! These are big and hearty pieces of quiche - so delicious! The next morning, we popped by to get a few goodies. We ordered the danish, sticky bun and blueberry muffin. The sticky bun and muffin were are favorites. We would return here if we were visiting Grapevine again.

had to try this place while in Dallas due to the many reviews. Service alone is phenomenal! Can't really complain except for the tipping for takeouts. i still did it bit still .. he was right in front of me, lol. Ordered desserts to go as a present; everything looked scrumptuous. I had to order the m&m's cookie, french onion soup (cup) and iced coffee. i was a bit dissapointed with the presentation but it was full of flavor. iced coffee was just ok Ambiance was very homie; small little shop but really nice & inviting

Delicious cookies that melt in your mouth. I had the white chocolate macadamia cookie with a crystallized crust, it was fabulous. I had a lavender hot latte that was also delicious. I sat and studied at at a table with another gal and we tapped away on our iPads awhile. The waitress run by with scrumptious looking items for the restaurant so I know it's the happening spot in town. Be sure to stop in for a meal or quick coffee- you'll love it here.

I visited Main Street Bistro and Bakery around 9am on a Thursday, hoping to indulge in a breakfast item and delicious treats. However, my experience at this establishment left much to be desired due to its poor customer service and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction. As you can see in my photos, the bakery side was not busy, and I saw no less than ten employees, many of which walked past me, diverted eyes and seemed preoccupied and disinterested in assisting customers, including the barista in front of the cash register who couldn't be bothered to acknowledge anyone or give a polite we "will be right with you." Despite attempts to engage with employees passing by or the gentleman I assume was the manager based on his blue button-up shirt (the rest of the employees were dressed in black), I was met with curt or no response. Having waited for so long, I had a sunk time and eventually ordered when I should have left, but I only ordered from the bakery grab and go as there was no way I could wait any longer for a made-to-order meal. I had a cold croissant, and it was ok, but it wasn't worth the time and treatment. It was evident that customer service was not a priority at this bakery. Still, they will continue to thrive based on the Main St location, so I recommend a kiosk ordering system for bakery goods to be boxed and provided to customers, allowing people have an opportunity for baked goods while employees continue to have the seemingly desired minimal interaction. I won't patronize an establishment that treats people as invisible, not only is it unprofessional, but it is also unkind, I will not be back.

The ambiance, service and especially the food... AAAmazing!!!!! Love to dine here either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Since it's located on Main St. of Downtown Grapevine and with its modernized & cozy dining area, you can entertain any out-of-town guests with confidence.

Of course Main Street Bistro is a Grapevine institution, and I love it! It pains me to give a four star rating. We were seated right away, which was great! We each ordered custom omelets with the waffle fries plus strawberries with romanoff sauce. The food was pretty good, though the omelet was dry, and we were both surprised that there was just a mound of cheese on top, most unmelted. The main reason I have a four is our server. I don't know if he was having a bad day or if waiting tables is not suited for him. He was pretty clueless and slow.

Came here based on some recommendations off Yelp and menu items. The ambience inside is cool, staff is pretty friendly. This place was at best OK for food. It didn't seem home cooked. The ketchup is cheap synthetic stuff. Would I come back, not sure.

Best almond croissants I ever had. They also have very good food. The main reason however I would return, is the almond croissants.

I arrived during the lunch rush, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. Even though they were extremely busy, we were immediately greeted by a courteous and polite young man who quickly escorted us to a booth. We were seated in Ms. Maria's section, and she was a wonderful server. She greeted us with a warm smile, brought us menus along with the lunch menu, chips and salsa, and promptly served our water. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. It was well seasoned, delicious, and satisfying. The flavors weren't overpowering--they were balanced and enjoyable, making it a dish I would gladly order again. This was my first visit to Mi Dia From Scratch, and I came away very impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant also offers a nice outdoor seating area. Between the excellent service and flavorful food, I will definitely be back. I hope you'll give it a try too!

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.
