Menu that is still posted online for Southlake HB Co

Menu online today (pulled up an hour prior to going into store) doesnt match in store and prices have increased .... .... teens running things on mother's day were not knowledgeable, and rude.... sad. This spot was a fave.

Incredibly delectable baked goods, just like Grandma used to make! Everything is fresh and homemade, from the bread to the whipped butter to the jams/jellies. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

Breas & biscotti deliciousness & comfort.

I love this place! Quality and healthy options are so nice to have. Love the variety of breads and the sandwich options. Relaxing and soothing vibes add to its charm. Comforting cheese garlic bread & cinnamon bread for the savory & sweet win. Biscotti are well made with nice texture for a delicious snack. Friendly and kind staff are also a bonus. Great for a bite or meal there or to go. Bring on the yum!

The jalapeño cheddar sourdough is delicious! Highly recommend you stop in and grab a loaf.

I love the ambience of great harvest bread Co. I came here looking for dessert after being so good and eating a salad, and this place did not disappoint! I had a selection of cookies, muffins, and cinnamon rolls. I settled on the cinnamon roll, which was absolutely delicious! I am not even a person that likes frosting, but the frosting on their cinnamon rolls was amazing. I will definitely be back for more!

Smoked Turkey Goddess Sandwich pretty sloppy

Not the best experience for my for my first time at Great Harvest. I ordered on online for curbside pickup but when I arrived there was no instruction/ posting/ or I'm here signs so I parked and walked in. My GPS took me to the back of the building off Carroll Rd, I didn't investigate the front parking lot for their pick up system. Inside, it's a nice coffee slightly industrial decor. Open and attractive with a variety of jared items. I walked to the counter where two ladies were working. No signs for online pickup but you can see bags placed on the counter so I stood by those- for a while. Despite making eye contact with the front counter ladies and the ladies making sandwiches their eyes quickly diverted from me before I could say "pickup" so I, being polite, stood in line behind patrons ordering, waiting for my turn to grab the bag with my name on it. Once at the counter I gave my name, was handed a bag and was quickly dismissed. First impression- customer service and making people feel welcome is not their strong suit. Ok, so back at work time to dig in and ugg. Although I ordered the turkey goddess but what I received was the turkey comb over. See picture. Onions that bunched in the middle and Turkey that favored the right side this was not the making of a well proportioned sandwich, and it made me that much more irritated in the intentional ignoring of customers back at the counter since it doesn't seem they were taking care in the preparation the customers meals. I had the garlic bread, it was soft and held up well. The other order was the chipotle beef, although I didn't try it it was described to me as a collection of every flavor jammed into one. One of those flavors for you ask what kind of meat is this? And not in a good way. Recommend this establishment, create some signs for online order, pick up, to include parking signs for those picking up in a vehicle at either door entrance or get rid of the option for vehicle delivery if unable uphold. A little bit of customer service would also go along way. If the 15 year old at Chick-fil-A can do it, I would expect the same or better from a more mature staff.

Was eating this blueberry scone and found this plastic of some kind baked in it!! I threw it away after that.

Love the interior decor and vibe. Very warm and welcoming - just like their servers. Came in for a sandwich and will be back for coffee soon.

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

I ordered the turkey bacon avocado. It is a bit cheaper from the other chain sub shop in Grapevine, and I was interested to see how they matched up. First off, they added my pickles. I like pickles and it can slip past people's attention, as it is not a standard topping. The bread was soft and the sandwich was a good size. The bacon was nice and crispy, but I found the filling a little skimpy. The turkey was completely lost. The strongest flavors were provelone and bacon, but it is essentially a turkey sandwich. There just wasn't much of it. Nor the veg. Lettuce and tomato were just barely present. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't GOOD. Our server, Macy, made some excellent recommendations, and everything we tried was delicious. What really made this place stand out, though, was the exceptional attentiveness from the entire team. Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

Now me being a T1D foodie means that I seek out meals comprised of meat and vegetables. Being a diabetic foodie is not fun or easy. My number one midday option is salad. If I were ever to be in a position in the restaurant world where I could Influence the menu, I would definitely make a true meal size salad a common option industry wide. In my opinion, ordering a salad isn't secret code for "I really don't want to eat." This is nothing against the original chophouse in particular because I have a hard time finding a salad at any restaurant that hits the spot. Yes, when we left the restaurant, I was still hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her meal very much because there was way too much salad dressing for her liking. The kids enjoyed it, I think. My little boy will eat just about anything. I don't guess that's fair to anyone involved with whatever kind of business transaction I may find myself dealing with while in that part of town.
