The service took long and she kept stopping and left the dye sitting on my head for about 1 hour then came back and put more dye on my head and then left me sit??? My skin is very very sensitive and it was sitting on it to the point where my scalp was burning a bit. My hair was not rinsed well and it left a film like there was too much conditioner that was still on my hair and there was dye left on my shirt, my face, and my scalp and hairline. Then I was told to just use rubbing alcohol at home to get it off. And I heard my stylist talking very loudly about me in another room saying what I was asking for was not realistic and it was too hard and if it was taking to long for a simple color it's not her problem... Mind you she kept stopping and would not wash my hair out left a treatment I didn't ask for on my hair for 30 mins in between washing me out and when I called raising my concern it was brushed off and they would not give me a refund. I went yesterday for a 60 min massage and a pedicure and could not have been happier with my experience. Both services were perfection. I actually hesitated to try a pedicure because I have gone to my normal nail place religiously for years and have been happy but Ratha blew my nail salon out of the water. The attention to detail, the care and consideration of my comfort, and the absolute gorgeous job she did was more than I could have ever hoped. Not to mention, this is the softest my feet have ever felt in years. Like butter! She was also lovely to work with. My massage with Courtney was also incredible. Again, massages are nothing new to me, so I sort of go into each massage knowing what to expect but Courtney melted me. I never fall asleep during a massage (maybe once in my entire life) and I was out like a light at some point. She was so careful of the space on my shoulder I told her about the recent surgery on, but didn't ignore it and deprive me of any of the shoulder massage piece. She accommodated my still-drying toe nails from pedicure prior (I didn't have any choice about timing; I added the pedicure on at the last minute and they were happy to work around my request). All in all, I was happy with scheduling, the services, and felt that pricing was more than fair for the quality of the services received. "People come from all over the state just for this!" OK how much does it cost? "Oh anywhere from $250-500." Wow, that is a pretty broad range. Well you will have to come back in for a consultation. They couldn't even give me a quote that day! I will think about it. I called back a few weeks later, they said Grace was on vacation and she'd call me back to set up a consultation. She never did. Oh well, their loss not mine. While he was cutting my hair he constantly bragged about all the training he's had, Paul Mitchell school blah blah blah. Bored me to death. Then another customer came in and he left me! I was just sitting there waiting forever while he did her hair. To top it all off, he didn't even ask me if I liked my cut, if I wanted more taken off, etc. I think he might have cut off .0001 cm. I went for a real haircut somewhere else the next day. I gave her a quick run down of my predicament & she was able to fit me in. Despite feeling a bit stressed & defeated, her warmth, kindness & understanding put me at ease. Considering the shape of my hair, I wasn't sure I'd have even a decent outcome. However, as I told her, she was an absolute god send! I see many bottles polish separate every time I come in. Which leads me to #2. 2. My gels or regular polish NEVER last. The gel chips and the regular polish will chip as well. 3. Some of the nail techs PRETEND to understand you. Spanish is my first language so I get it. There has been times when I've asked the nail tech an open ended question and they would pretend to understand me with a yes response. It's rude. If you don't understand, just say you don't. They're prices are reasonable and SOME of the nail techs are very kind and work hard. But I'm not sure the people who work there are happy or getting paid fairly. Most of them seem miserable to be there and it shows through their massages. I've been there over 100 times since I have lived in Cheshire and I finally think I'm done. To be honest, I only go there because they are usually the only ones that have walk in availability.
