The only reason I am giving 3-stars is because Sue was a pleasure to speak with this morning. I received a recall on my vehicle a week ago and called to schedule an appointment to have it fixed. Sue next available appointment is for a recall FEBRUARY 2023. Even though I can still "technically drive" the vehicle, I find it ridiculous that they are still "overbooked" from the beginning of the pandemic and cannot fit in recalls for service. So technically speaking, my car can physically roll away even though it's in park due to the recall but they cannot see me for over 6-months? I called another location and have an appointment for next Wednesday. Thought I would give this location another shot but NOPE! By far the worst service department I've ever been too !! I spent 100k on a pickup a year ago and had my gas line leaking and instead of them making me a priority or give me a loaner car they just left my car sitting there for 3 weeks. When i was told it would be 3 days !! And The worst part of it all was I didn't receive one phone call from them even when it was ready it was just sitting there, not 1 call .. Dana ford issued another RECALL for my 2021 Ford Bronco whic only has 16+K miles. Car was fine, noproblems. I accept service offered for service van to come to the house. they show up 3 hours early, which caused me to cancel an appointment with a contractor at their showroom. Only DANA's time is important, not yours. keeping a scheduled appointment is not high on their list. They recalibrated the powertrain control and body control modules. safety recall states the modules may fail to detect a change in 12 volt battery state of charge and could shut off while driving. well guess what, car was fine, mechanics who came to house listed on THEIR paperwork battery was good and in the green. I got that copy emailed to me...the CAR STALLED the next time used after 5 minutes, everything dead, car would not turn over. I call DANA, speak to JASMINE who tells me DANA mechanics who came to the house did not work on the car, they just serviced the recall! that the battery going dead had nothing to do with the repairs. I request a tow thinking DANA would fix it, she tells me they don't TOW, and MAYBE she could squeeze me in next week for an appointment. I am stuck with my daughter in a parking lot and they want me to come in next week. Can not make this up, I call AAA and get towed to a private mechanic. Its diagnosed and guess what. The battery was drained out from the service call. New battery, diagnostic tests, $490.00 dollars plus used 1 AAA tow from basic plan. I had a receptionist tell me the work was not done, INCREDIBLE. All that I can say at this point is to NEVER USE DANA FORD-NEVER BUY FROM DANA FORD. This and another minor issue in the past, also not resolved tells me that once you sign initial paperwork, DANA could care less about their customers. The car itself seems to be great, unfortunately this dealership is a terrible representation of Ford. This might be one of the worst sales experiences I have ever had with a car. The dealership and salesperson was dishonest about the pricing and the accessories added to the car. Once a deposit was left, it was nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to get details on the car or the financing. Repeatedly had to deal with "Salesperson not available, someone will call you later, someone is out of the office, etc". Even the sales manager promised to have our salesperson and the finance person call later that day with no response. We scheduled the car for pickup and the car was not ready and we had to wait for it. The car was delivered with scratched paint. And the financing offered to put our financial docs on a USB drive only to give us a blank drive. Run, do not walk away from this dealership. Avoid it like the plague. read more

This place is the worst -- add on to my previous post. I finally got someone to call me back and that's when the nonsense started-- tried to get me to lease a Corsair 10K down 400$ a month - really? When that didn't work out the got me a decent deal on an SEL but before I could get there (after many back and forth conversations with Ching - who lacks any kind of professional decorum) they sold BOTH they had in stock -- never offered me the opportunity to put a down payment to secure the car - now they want to try the Corsair again.... These people are ridiculous -- one doesn't know what the other is doing . They are supposed to be doing a lease buy-out but the guy who handles it wasn't in but no one bothered to tell me so i would have gone there really for nothing. I have leased with them for many years both fords and Lincolns and I will not be returning when my current lease is up. They simply do not know how to make a customer satisfied. I went in 9am the next morning and they said that deal would no longer be honored because I left. Called for an appointment and was told I would have to wait five months. That's right a FIVE MONTH WAIT for a service appointment! Really? I have owned only Fords for as long as I have been driving. This review concerns the service department. One way to truly judge a company is to see how they recover from a mistake. I had my car serviced for paint delamination and a faulty door lock. Unfortunately, the service agent that I was assigned left the job a week after my car was in for service and did nothing. So parts were not ordered and work not done. I was assigned a new agent Haz who has a great personality and is very efficient and I had the opportunity to speak with the service manager Keith Curran who could not do enough for me. It was obvious that this dealership wanted to keep me as a customer and I couldn't be happier. Now let's go back to the beginning, the check-in process is amazing, you drive into the service area and agents are waiting for you. My wait was less then 30 seconds (certainly a far cry from the old days). When I picked up my car I waited a few minutes in a beautiful waiting room with a huge TV. With the pandemic killing supplies Keith Curran is a person who is determined to do it right. I would not hesitate to bring my car back for service. read more

I was originally happy to buck the trend of poor yelp reviews at Dana Ford. As I mentioned in my previous review, the sales experience was solid. Anything that was incorrect was solved quickly. My 2016 Ford Explorer lease came with 2 free oil changes and service. The first oil change was seamless and quick. the second oil change was quick....maybe too quick, let me explain. On Friday the same day as the oil change I noticed a puddle of oil in my driveway under the car at home after the oil change was done. I moved the car into the street, more oil underneath. I spoke to the service department and scheduled another appointment the monday after the oil was changed on Friday. Monday morning I roll in and explain the situation, 45 minutes later I am told the oil was leaking from the oil pan gaskets and the gaskets were changed along with the oil. This is a farce and comical. In my opinion there is no reason for the oil pan to leak as the oil pan would not have been touched for a simple oil change. Dollars to donuts the oil filter was not seated correctly during installation which caused the leak. I would have preferred them to be honest with me. It is no wonder Dana has such a terrible reputation. Needless to say this will be the last time they see this car before the lease is up. My ace mechanic will now have that honor. Quite honestly I am extremely disappointed and will think twice about buying/leasing another car from Dana. No restitution for my wasted time and atrip from NJ was offered. read more

DONT EVEN DESERVE ONE STA Been 3 times at Dana have been an absolute disgrace.. your service people behind the desk do nothing to help the customer.. I have a 2007 mercury mountaineer with the extended warranty (supposedly the best coverage I could buy) I'm supposed to get a loaner car every time my truck goes to service.. the first time I brought there they refused to give me a loaner "claim" they have no more. This was My 4th Ford from Dana. Upon returning a lease, my EZpass was lost. It was my fault and I noticed after I got home that it was lost. I text my salesperson to check the car, He acknowledged and never got back to me. I text him hours later, no response.The next day I text him twice, no call or answer. I have to report this thing lost and have to juggle one between cars. Only after I called someone else there did he call me back, 29 hours later. Motto of story, Before sale they all nice, once you sign paper DANA ford has no use for you. This is a management issue since a salesperson can blow off a customer with ease. Purchased a vehicle in May 2018 and it was our second Escape. We originally leased a 2015 Escape and liked it and had no problems so we wanted another one. Completely different experience this time. 90 minutes of intense negotiating that didn't need to be intense; Dana wanted to only offer rebates w/o negotiating price. My wife and I stood up at one point to walk out and we were stopped and told to sit back down and I said only if they are realistic about a price. Still couldn't come to a price and the salesman had the nerve to say we didn't really want the car. In the end the price we agreed was $1,000 under what I wanted. Now for service...car is 7 months old and has 4300 miles. Started to have a coolant leak and I couldn't get an appointment for 3 days. Brought it in and they are packed and no one acknowledged me until I said something. No loaners are available even though there are 20 in the fleet apparently. Advisor said they wouldn't be able to look at my car for about 24 hours and now it's a waiting game. I won't be returning for service even though I bought the car from Dana. Advisor also said they no longer take walk-ins for service and they only service the car if it was purchased there. Sounds like a call to Ford Corporate may be in order. Background I leased a car from them a few years back. The lease ended in October. Unfortunately, I was unable to work with the gentleman I previously leased from because he passed away. God Rest His Soul. Recent Experience I am only giving 4 stars because, the first sale man I worked with came off as arrogant and impatient. I planned to purchase my leased vehicle but, due to the economic downturn my credit rating wasn't as good as before. Nonetheless, he found financing for me. He then tried to rush through the paperwork process. When I carefully read through the paperwork and questioned a $3000 fee, that he could only explain as a "dealer markup", he got frustrated and left me to take care of someone else. I was about leave and just return the vehicle at lease end date. But something told me to speak with the Manager. I am thankful I did. Steve Riccardone (Manager) had spoken to me earlier about leasing another vehicle. I was adamantly disinterested. When I told him what had happened he apologized and took great care of me. He patiently sat with me and explained again why it would be better for me to lease a new vehicle considering my current credit situation. He was able to get me a brand new vehicle for only $4 more than I was currently paying, and my insurance cost even decreased. He had James (salesman) show me the vehicle and take excellent care of me from that point on. As much as I HATE dealing with car dealerships, those two guys turned a horrible experience into a great one. I left happy and a month later, I am loving my new vehicle! Thank you Steve and James! I am completely shocked by this dealership's business practices. 2 months ago was given an out the door price in writing on a 2021 F150 platinum. This truck was "in transit" and not yet at this dealers location. I agreed to the price (in writing), gave them a deposit (which they accepted) so that when the truck arrived I would make the purchase. Notified yesterday the truck has finally arrived. I book non-refundable airline tickets for my wife and I to go up this weekend to pick up the truck. Notified today the price of the truck is now $5K more then what we agreed to 2 months ago. Wow! Horrible experience!! Good customer service? Forget about it. I got a vehicle here last September. The motor mount broke and fell down under with transmission and engine. I used this car less than a year and didn't drive that much. It could be a big accident if it happened on the road. My car was sent to Dana Ford again. I expected that they would take care of it better because I got the car from them. I was completely wrong. At the beginning they lost my car. For three days, their answer was "We don't know where the vehicle is. When we find out, we will get back to you." This was crazy. They never got back to me. Three days later I had to call back to know what it is going on and they said they found my car. This is not the end. My insurance company asked them to send the picture and estimate. It took one week to get the picture and estimate after I had to go there in person and asked in front of them. Taking the pictures and calling to the insurance company took just 5 mins. While they didn't send the requirement, they also never answered my phone calls and calls from insurance company. While they delayed, my insurance company was about to cancel their service two times because Dana Ford never sent what they asked on time. So FRUSTRATING. Whenever I called, the one who took care of my vehicle was always not on his desk. Unbelievable. All day, he wasn't there. Not only one day. Everyday! I think he avoided my call on purpose. Whenever I called there, I was so frustrated. Only when I went there in person, finally he tried to do something. I regretted that I got a vehicle here and asked the service here. I haven't used my car for about four months now. I told this to my friend and he told me he hates Dana Ford. I don't even need to hear more because I know why for sure. I still call them but they said 'don't call'. My property is there. I have the right to know what's going on. They are not responsible for what they are doing. read more

I was in communication with a representative there by text messaging. They sent me the window sticker with the price of the vehicle, I agreed and made a appointment to come and buy the vehicle (2 hr drive) When I got there they showed me the vehicle went over all the options in it, we then went inside to start the paper work, that's when they told me the vehicle is marked up $10,000. above sticker price. NO WHERE IN THERE ONLINE ADVERTISED PRICE DID THEY MENTION ANY MARKUP ON THE VEHICLE NOR WAS I TOLD IN MY TEXT MESSAGING WITH THERE REPRESENTATIVE. Now shouldn't they have told me that before I drove there to buy it or even before showing me the vehicle on the lot? Very bad business. When I told them I will let Ford know what they did, there response was "we're a private dealer" I advise not to deal with a company that is dishonest, not up front with you. I purchased a certified vehicle from out of state, in the middle of winter and worked with Mike Sauber here. He was very kind and responsive with updates and accommodations. We had been searching for a specific certified model that Dana Ford had, purchased it without a test drive and had it shipped to OH. We had a couple mechanical issues that were not covered under the certified warranty and Mike worked with us to get them taken care of after delivery. I made an appointment for a recall on my Explorer and waited 4 months. A few days before my appointment they call me and tell me they have to reschedule it. That appointment was 7 more months out. Spoke to the service manager Keith and he agreed that was unacceptable and told me he will call me back with another appointment. He never called me even after I called him two more times. I called All American Ford in Old Bridge, NJ and they said no problem, would you like to come in tomorrow. Needless to say I will be buying my Fords from All American from now on. Dana Lincoln is the place to go if you want any of the following: - Employees that are liars -Employees that are incompetent -Employees that are unskilled - Your car will be there for months waiting for parts -Your car will be returned to you with the same problem it was brought in with -You will be told there "aren't any loaners available" -You will be told "that is not my area or specialty" However they are always saying "sorry" and "there isn't anything I can do about it" Dana Lincoln will always accept your payment and add on a late fee if you do not pay regardless if they have your car for months. Service department is horrible. Where to start? The transmission on our 2016 Explorer (which was purchased at Dana Ford) started slipping in October 2020. When we called Dana for service, we were told the earliest appointment will be six weeks, at the end of November. We told the service representative that we were afraid to drive the car in case the transmission fails. First we are told to have the car towed in, then after speaking with a "manager" received an appointment for November 3. Car is dropped off and service representative tells us that there is a backlog on parts and the car probably needs a torque converter - a major problem with the Explorers. We leave the car and request a loaner. Nothing is available until November 5. On November 5 we are given a Ford Fusion as a loaner and not an SUV and are told no SUV's are available. Coincidentally, as the car sits in service, we receive a letter from Ford that the car was recalled for transmission problems. Time passes, calls to service representative are never returned. Eventually call Ford Motor Company and they also have difficulty reaching representative. We are eventually told that they are waiting on parts. Fast forward - phone calls to representative go unanswered. We decide to go to the dealer on November 30 (four weeks after car was dropped off.) Representative is surprised to see us. We ask to see the service manager who explains to us that there was more wrong than just a torque converter and they are waiting for parts. They offer us an SUV loaner which we take. Parts do not arrive until the following Thursday (December 10 - which we find out by email.) We have been emailing and calling since Friday (December 11), and want to know when the car will be repaired - as well as a second recall that arrived in the mail last week. Still waiting on a response from representative and/or service manager. Tomorrow will be six weeks that our car will be in their service department. Ford Motor Company was also unhelpful. If I could put minus 5 Stars I would, the dealership in itself when you want to lease or buy a vehicle from them isn't bad at all, they know how to kiss ass, but God forbid you need service you better run don't walk away from them just bought a brand new 2023 Bronco all done up and upgraded less then a week in my hands and needed to bring it in for water coming in when AC on took me a week to get an appointment I bring it in with the promise it will get looked at that day it took them 3 days to look at it all the while telling me they didn't have a diagnoses yet when I knew exactly what was wrong with it because I googled it and other trucks had the same issue so when they finally looked at it they said 3 to 5 business days to get part gets in sooner then expected they tell me truck will be ready tomorrow I call to see what time to pick it up I was told most like the following week it takes 3 days to take the dashboard apart I'm like isn't it apart already since you ordered a part no we ordered knowing what it was because it's happens to other trucks so that's when I lost it I've been lied to from the beginning it took 3 days to order a part you said because you needed to diagnose the truck when you didn't even take it apart to begin with now too bad there's no such thing as being able to bring your new truck back because you changed your mind or because the dealership sucks ass I will never buy another truck from them again and I will never send anyone there and if anyone ever wants to go there and I hear about it I will do everything in my power to change they're mind they don't deserve the business when all they do is lie to their customers read more

Truthfully, I was very surprised to see all the negative reviews on this site because we had the best buying experience from Dana Ford. Our salesman, Vincent Langilotti, was very professional, honest, fast, and delivered everything that he promised. From picking up the phone, understanding our needs, negotiation process, delivering the car we wanted, everything went smoothly and stress free. We also got the best value for our money! Before we settled with Dana, we made many phone calls to other Ford dealerships to ensure that we would receive the best deal. We traveled from New Jersey to do this. We were very happy that not only we got the best price, we received a great buying experience. It was a very pleasant with no bs. So I had posted a bad review because of the treatment and shady underhanded things done to a long time customer. I walked in to talk to the owners son about maybe working things out. He saw me and said get out of here before I call the cops lol. Is that your answer and how you run a business ? Someone leaves a bad review and your answer is get out ? Jesse Cognetta again shame on you. Many times I wanted to leave a bad review but didn't. Now you acted like this and I'm going to show the world why they should stay away from Dana. There sales and customer service is sub standard. They don't care about long time customers. The service department you bring your car in to have one thing fixed and they break other things and don't fix the problem correctly anyway. I never lie and can back everything up with proof so here goes. My seat back broke. They fixed it and it broke again. I decided to take care of it myself. Trust me with my reviews and opinions I've been fixing cars since I was 10. After opening up the seat I found that the "factory trained " mechanics put my part in with zip ties !! Why couldn't you go into your parts department and get the right fasteners ? Also my engine was in for a major TSB and they had it for months. I got the car back and it ran for three days because they didn't do the cylinder heads correctly and the timing chains snapped. They had it for months more and now it leaks oil like crazy when they told me there was no leaks. So I'm going to post pictures of the oil leaks that aren't there lol and the seat with the Dana back yard mechanic fixes and after I fixed it properly with a load bearing washer and rivets to help a poor plastic design from breaking again. If you look I always have good reviews as to not burn any bridges but now that Jesse acted like that who cares. If any of you read this you can contact me and we can talk about removing the reviews and working these travesty's out. My advice.....save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.
