He would get anxious and stressed and toys and TV wouldn't even help much. Faustina is kind and patient and extremely skilled even though my son won't go through a haircut without a fight. They did not finish her hair and they did not iron her hair. We learn after we got home that my daughter has long hair on one side and shorter on other side did not match. Why take an appointment if the work cannot be completed and why charge full price. I will not return. I do not recommend this salon.

Not only does Ms. Thao handle the stress with grace, she executes a throughout job of styling. She inquires the type of haircut and recaps the clipper numbers at the beginning of the session. Before it's completely done she'll check a couple of times if the style is to our liking and if we notice anything to correct. Giving a toddler a haircut is definitely a team effort and Ms. Thao is open to it! The decoration is also appealing but not overwhelming. It's a welcoming, clean atmosphere for kids and adults. Perk is that there is Baskin Robbin's next door if you would like to give you kid a sweet treat after a haircut! Thao has her own suite, small but just enough room for parents, baby and Thao. Which is nice in comparison to a kiddie hair salon where there are multiple stations and can get over stimulating due to the noise and other kids. You get Thao's undivided attention and detail during the haircut. She was honestly so sweet, nice and patient with my son. My son was not happy about getting his haircut but she was so patient to work with us, she allowed my husband and I to switch off to hold my son. She also has a TV if you allow screen time to distract kids and you can play whatever you would like on it. It was my son's first haircut so she gave us a certificate, tiny bag of his hair and offered to take pictures of us. This place was perfect. They have a toy area for kids to warm up before their appointment and cool little cars for them to sit in, which made a huge difference. Our barber, Armando, was incredible. He switched the TV to my son's favorite show, stayed calm and patient the entire time, and completely avoided the clippers when he saw they were making him nervous.
