Went here with one of my friends yesterday and it did not disappoint! Inside it had very cute sunflower decorations everywhere and the service staff could not have been friendlier. Have seen this around and decided to go in and have some sushi this past weekend for lunch. I ordered the avocado, asparagus and cucumber rolls and they were amazing. My husband ordered he yum yum rolls and he said they were also very good. All the food was very aesthetically pleasing as well:) A plus is it's always half off sushi. We walked out at $11 for lunch for both of us:) the only reason I only gave 4 stars was because hey don't offer any summer rolls without rice or brown rice options. I've only every ordered carry-out from Dancing Roll. However, everytime I order here it's usually a large order and at a busy time and it's never been a problem. 30 minutes or less, I have in my possession styrofoam take-out containers filled with yummy sushi for dirt cheap. I once left with 4 boxes of sushi for $33! Hallelujah for half-price carryout sushi! Kind of wish we wouldn't have told so many people about our favorite Go-To Sushi in West Chester! It's definitely getting more crowded but the staff does a great job at accommodating guests and service remains above satisfactory. I mean who wouldn't Love a place with ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR?!?! Hugely disappointed, especially after reading all of the awesome reviews. Maybe it was just an off-night, but the sushi and salad came out warm, which isn't exactly reassuring when it comes to sushi. Flavor was just 'meh, and the spider roll was actually bad (hardly any crab in it and the ratios of stuff was all off to me. Salad was nice except for the food temperature. The only reason this has 3 stars instead of 2 is because the services is awesome and I can't really complain about the prices, which are very low. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Went here on a recommendation from a friend on best place to get sushi in West Chester area. I got carry out. First of all, I like that they do half price on carry out. But the sushi was definitely "half price sushi" worthy. The restaurant had kind of a gross smell when I went to pick it up and when I got home and looked at my rolls, the avocado on top of one of my rolls was browning pretty bad. I understand avocado does brown quickly, but it really kind of ruined my appetite for the sushi because it just gave me the impression that none of it was fresh. It all tasted pretty good, but I had an unsettling feeling the entire time wondering if the fish was as gross as the avocado. read more

This place looks super shady from the outside, but take a chance and go in!!!!! I love the sweet potato, Sunday morning, and shrimp tempura. The miso is comforting and the salad is more than just iceberg lettuce! My hubby lived in South Korea for a year, so he ordered the chicken bulgolgi and loved it. We saw that the name had changed, so we decided to give it a try. We stopped in a few nights ago and ordered a few rolls. The menu is similar to other Korean owned Asian restaurants (Dancing Wasabi, Drunken Bento, etc) with the rolls having different names. The rolls we ordered were all very good, fresh, and well rolled. We will definitely be back to try some other rolls and their other Asian menu options. read more

My family and I are huge fans of good sushi. We thought to try out this place and was not impressed. Their rolls had a lot of imitation crab meat which we are not fans of. But with the other rolls, they were only mediocre - fish was missing the hint of sweetness that indicates freshness and the salmon was missing the fatty texture, a mark of quality. It's not bad but not great either. The kitchen got the sushi out pretty quickly. Had 6 different rolls for the table and they all met expectations. Rolls were tight and tasted fine, but didn't really have an extra kick of flavor like some places have. The cost was really reasonable. Beers were cheap and the sushi was well priced. A good deal for sure if you go early in the dinner service. Maybe it was happy hour or something. My main issue was the service itself. It wasn't overly busy but I felt like we waited a long time for drinks. After our table was cleaned we sat for a solid 10 mins waiting for our check. When she finally came and asked if we were ready for or check she took another 5-7 mins helping others while the check was in her pocket. Really strange. Was it good...yes, but not great. Service seemed off, but I think it was our particular waitress. Would we come back...probably not any time soon. There are a lot of other places in the area to try first, but maybe afterwards. read more

Jan. 2015. Horrible service during lunch hours. Several tables were upset about wrong orders. We waited 45 minutes for our lunch special! The server never even checked on us. Owner came out and apologized and comped the meal. For way better atmosphere, food and service......Go to Geisha or Soho across the street for sushi!! read more

An absolute joke. Went to this restaurant with my family to have dinner. I ordered the chicken Katsu. The plate arrived and upon eating the first few bites , I noticed that texture was off. My boyfriend called the owner over to inquire about the food. He explained to her that the chicken has a rubbery texture and that it was more than likely undercooked. The owner then proceeded to ask "what do you mean it's rubbery" My boyfriend explained yet again that the chicken was more than likely undercooked and that it had an off texture. The owner takes the plate from his hands and then proceeds to stick her hands all over the food. She comes back and tells my boyfriend that the chicken is not raw and that he was the first customer to ever complain of it. My boyfriend , annoyed at this point, told her to eat it herself then. She took the plate , again and set it down on an adjacent table and tried to cut it with the fork. She could not even cut the chicken through herself So again my boyfriend told her "look you can't even cut through it , it's not cooked all the way" She then took the chicken, ripped it apart with her hands and then proceeded to eat it. She again reiterated that it was fine and not undercooked and went on a rant about how they marinated the chicken and that's why it was tough and rubbery. Meanwhile, there's a group of customers waiting to sit down at the table she's using to dig into the food... She then asked if we wanted the plate back after she had stuck her fingers in it. She offered us another plate but at this point we were disgusted and deeply offended by the owners behavior. This is the first time in my entire life that I have been treated so poorly in a restaurant. I cannot believe the audacity of these people. I feel so sorry for the waitress who was profusely apologizing for the owners behavior. All the owner had to do was to apologize and correct it. Absolutely ludicrous behavior. read more

Half price is cool. It's decent sushi but I wouldn't say it's the best. There are very few places to pick from for sushi in this area unfortunately so this is great if you're not willing to make the drive farther south where better sushi places are. I love the environment though. read more

We frequently visited this location for about a year. When I say frequent, I mean we ate there at least once a week. The owner is so friendly and always went out of her way to come over and chat with us. She knew our daughter's name and always interacted with her in such a friendly manner. Then, we stopped going and haven't returned in over a year. Why? My wife wanted sushi one night and I wasn't feeling it. I picked up some carry-out in hopes of scoring some points. She enjoyed her usual 2 rolls and we went to bed. Later that night she lost about 6 pounds and slept on the bathroom floor. We were about 99% sure the food borne illness originated here. About 5 weeks after this "event", my niece found a literal fingernail in one of her rolls. Not just a clipping, like a half of a fake nail. We wish the owner the best as she truly is a sweetheart who provides good-tasting sushi at a reasonable price. I guess you get what you pay for... 3 Stars for the "good times". read more

The first time I was here I had a to go order where I waited 3-4 hours after ordering for sushi. Mid way they told me they are working on my order now because their receipt machine malfunctioned and didn't print out my order. They gave me nigiri instead of sashimi on my entire order despite me confirming that I wanted sashimi on the order with a woman who seems to be the owner. This short woman proceeded to get super angry and yelled at her staff that made the mistake but was calmed down and hushed by another staff member who held her back. Then they charged me for sashimi they never provided in my order and promised I'll get the charged items for free on my next visit because they didn't have the items that day and already ran my card. I asked for a receipt confirming this and they said they'll put it in the system. The next time I came in they said that they aren't going to give me the items I was charged for because they have no record of it. So much for putting it into the system. I gave it another chance and went in two years later, my order was missing pieces and the fish was terrible quality. I felt like every time I went here I was just scammed out of my own money. The servers were fine, nothing against them. read more

I had lunch here one Saturday afternoon with a friend who often visits Dancing Roll during the week for lunch. It was just okay. I used to frequent this location on a weekly basis when it was still Akira, years and years ago. I didn't find myself very impressed with Dancing Roll as I have been with other sushi restaurants in the past. For one, the rolls are TINY! I get it- they are half priced, but this place has to figure out a better balance. While this isn't the best sushi I have ever had, it's still pretty darn good, and for the price it's incredible. I also enjoy the menu items, which I am not going to be able to spell correctly, but I will embarrass myself and attempt anyway. The Bibimbop (see) is a really unique item, be sure to get a raw egg on the side to add to the hot bowl. I highly recommend it. The only thing I have had that isn't spectacular is the kimchi soup, which ranges from awesome to watery. Great place, great prices, we will keep coming back. read more

That is cheapest sushi bars and Washton state but pretty good nonetheless there sweet potato rolls are pretty good also but the shrimp tasted a bit dated. 16 bucks got me more than I was looking for and there wasabi is unusually strong. read more
