For my beverage, I chose a Hawaiian Sun canned drink. My order was served within 9 minutes. The service already did not match the gratuity. When I asked about my drink, I was pointed to the display case by the kiosk. Sadly, beverage delivery was neither one of her responsibilities nor included service. On their menu, "veggies" was included in various entrees. Veggie would have been a better description as the only vegetable was cabbage leaves. The cabbage was placed underneath the chicken and pork. The water from the cabbage caused the bottom portions of the meat to be soggy. Due to being breaded, the chicken was not as affected as the pork. Of the items served, I enjoyed the macaroni salad the most. It had plenty of flavor. The Kalua Pork which were not soaked in cabbage juice had an okay taste. Not only did the breading on Chicken Katsu provide flavor, it protected the chicken meat from being soggy. While a fork was served with my food, I had to grab a knife from the dispenser. The Chicken Katsu could have been eaten with a fork alone; the cabbage would have been difficult.

No getting drink refills. Nothing. And yet the computer screen at the cash register is always asking for tips and more tips and bigger tips which are all grossly unwarranted. The first time we went, we drove through and dodged the tips. We got large servings of the Hulu Huli chicken and the Molokai chicken. The food was very tasty but it was way too much to eat. We got some extra pineapple and with drinks the cost was over $42. Today we went back and had the small servings and that was just right. Cost was more moderate that just about $26. This time it was sitting inside. We got hit up for tips. Grrr. We declined.

We thought since we have to finish maintaining a few more houses that this place has good food, quick so we can return to work. We're in a full size GMC 4x4 deisel truck-towing a 16' trailer loaded w/landscape equipment and your Window Operator, "Jacqueline", tells my BF that, "He should have just waited at the kiosk because she CAN NOT take his order from the window! He's told go back to the kiosk to order." He questioned what the problem was taking it now from the window and she said, "no, can't do that because they TIME my orders." I'm in the back seat listening to all this and unsure if its a power trip/control issue or just flat out being difficult. Whatever it is, we left! Clearly we cannot back up and will have to leave the line and drive all the way around the building to get back in line for drive thru...and who knows with that attitude if she'll do something to our food (1 example: spit)? Obviously there's not a mngr on-site to ensure customers have a good experience and keep coming back. We definitely did not and will not return.
