Okay, could they be a predominantly a donut shop but also carry bagels? Maybe a bit of leniency. Then again their donuts are also medicore, supermarket-quality donuts. Defenders of these bagels would say, eat it with cream cheese or put some lox on it. I say, a good bagel will allow me to eat it unadorned and enjoy it. Like a sub/wedge/hoagie, the bread is an important vehicle. It is the first layer we break through. It typically makes up 50% of the sandwich. So, here's the thing. We stopped here for breakfast. My girlfriend loves this place. However, today we find there is a half gallon size beehive attached to an outside umbrella. Umbrella is not mobile but on the ground. I asked the owner about it being that I am an insurance adjuster by trade and am aware of the exposures of gross negligence when a known danger is present on a work site and nothing is done about it. According to Google it takes 3-5 months for a hive that big to grow. I expressed my concern to the owner and his answer concerned me. " we are calling everyday " i doubt that. Imagine a patron going into anaphylaxis due to a bee sting or worse. Not sure why they still have chairs and tables under the beehive. Again not being responsible. You have been warned. The owner is aware and on notice. The food is always good. read more

So I have had this place bookmarked for a long time and had people tell me personally how awesome this place is. It is open 24/7 so I automatically love those establishments because sometimes you don't want to eat junk from fast food establishments at midnight or later. We visited after a concert at the amphitheater close by. Every time we have gone to a concert, I always figured it would be super busy so I avoided it. This time I took the risk and got lucky. When we arrived, we went to the front counter and asked to dine in. We were then escorted to the front counter and we will be served. I was so hungry at this point that a donut was not going to cut it (even though I never finish my plate). I ordered the Dandee omelet (I think) with egg whites, wheat toast, and potatoes. The omelet was massive but super delicious. It had cheese, peppers, onions and I 86'd the mushrooms. My husband ordered a burger, which I almost stole from him because that was a tasty burger. We ordered donuts to go as well. I ordered the mounds which is a chocolate donut with chocolate icing and coconut. My hubby ordered the apple crumb which has an apple pie filling. Both were excellent. I ordered an iced coffee as well. The coffee was so perfect that I didn't even add sweetener. The place is small and gets busy most of the time. The staff is nice and they did not get upset with anyone taking up their time. I asked for a iced coffee to go but the server was leaving and told me to ask the other server. I go to this place all The time. Usually at night. I've only gone a handful of times in the morning, but every time I go in the morning there is always an issue. I am already uncomfortable because they rush you to order. There is this one man named Michael, who always rushes me and has a very bad attitude. He rolls his eyes and always has a rude comeback. I come there for the old fashion vibes and the incredible food not the morning service. I put in a complaint to the manager, Mark, and he defended him (which I get you work together) but he also invalidated my complaint. He started raising his voice at us and not listening. I've worked in the restaurant business and no matter what you feel personally, you don't argue with a customer. I am not an unreasonable person. I get bad days and I get not liking your job, but respect is a non negotiable. So if you ever want to go to dandee's, go at night. The workers at night are beyond incredible. Very nice and care about you. They not old men who are emotionally immature, argue with you, and gaslight you. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a food place. read more

After all it's open 24 hrs and when in Florida that's just a rarity.... we hit this shop on a Sunday night around 10 pm or so & it was constant busy ..... We really couldn't decide which donuts to try because they kept running fresh donuts out & they all looked tempting..... Big variety of donuts real old school style big on flavor & taste & filled the way a donut is supposed to be...... their coffee is very good had two cups & their service was excellent.... we had a young lady that kept telling us which were her favorites .... When trying a new donut shop out you have to have a glazed or old fashioned to really judge the shop which we did and it was good ... Then we ordered another 6 and split them between us .... can't remember all the names but we enjoyed most of them ....
