This is the most comfortable and quaint coffee shop a person could find. Its old-fashion designed mixed with Turkish culture is absolutely appreciated! You can find authentic Turkish coffee and deliciously flavored specialties here. The croissant was butter soft, perfectly flaky, and warm to the core! The cranberry muffin was dainty, moist and densely packed with semi sweet flavors. The staff are incredibly kind and hardworking. They serve the food to you at the table of your sitting. I believe her name is Kana, she's very personable and will remember you as a person, not just a paying customer!! I didn't see any prices so I asked for the price of a bagel and I was greeted with a dirty look like, "how dare you!" $4-5 muffins and $4+ buttered (Turkish bread?) so I took a pass, mainly because of the greeting, and ran for Dandee Donuts on Atlantic instead.... I used to get food from here all the time when I worked in the area. It has been here for almost 20 years. We always ordered the Boylston which was a turkey sandwich on a bagel. I don't see it on the menu anymore. At the time the Boston Bagel Cafe was owned by a lady actually from Boston. It has changed hands through the years and I hadn't been here in quite awhile but I thought about stopping in when I needed to grab a quick breakfast before the car show. The place is still cute with a couple of tables inside to eat at. It looks like it has more ethnic additions since I was here last. Greek I believe? There was baklava and some unusual packaged snacks along with croissants, muffins, and the bagels you would expect to find. I could have done without the TV blaring loud music first thing in the morning but I was quickly helped and in no time I was on my way with my breakfast sandwich bagels and coffee. The sandwiches were large and the everything bagels fresh. It was much better than Dunkin' Donuts which is where I first thought about going. This was just not the best experience. My "sandwich" was okay and probably would have warranted a 3 star review, but adding in my husband's meal (a one star) gave me this average. I can only imagine that the current folks running this restaurant are not the original owners. There's definitely no "Boston" connection that we could tell and though what they call "bagels" were fresh, they certainly were a far cry from authentic bagels and much more like soft rolls. It's a small place inside with a few tables. You can see the "bagels" in marked bins and choose from there. I ordered salmon cream cheese on a rye "bagel". As stated above, it was just okay. Definitely not the type of bagel that I had been craving. My husband's meal was not good at all. The side pasta salad was past its prime -- it had turned yellow -- and was inedible. He'd wanted a tuna salad sandwich on rye bread. They gave him a rye "bagel". The tuna was not very good either. And after seeing the pasta salad, he questioned its freshness as well. After all, any place that's been in business for over 17 years must have something going for it, and best of all, it doesn't appear to be a part of a chain. Boston Bagel occupies the east corner of a strip mall which offers plenty of free and spacious parking. As some of the parking Area and store fronting sidewalks are under construction, best watch where you step. Their call to fame is their bagels with the slogan: "FROM SCRATCH. EVERY DAY. LIKE IT SHOULD BE." And, indeed they are really fresh, tasty, and full of wholesome goodness. Best off, you have a choice of around 12 different variations of them from ones with a homemade cream cheese to those with traditional salmon. Even better are all the other menu choices like a whole list of coffees, teas, and sodas plus a huge listing of egg dishes what they term to be an "Omelet Station," plus sandwiches, salads, wraps, and varying meal sides such as ham or bacon. Boston Bagel Café is a really small place seemingly doing mostly take out though there are a couple of tables for dining within. If there is one positive thing about COVID, which there really isn't, but I guess the silver lining is that it allows me to try places I never get to try because I'm now working from home. I've driven by Boston Bagel Cafe so many times, but it's always been closed. Finally now I can try it. Inside it's a small shop. A few tables/chairs for indoor dining which were used the day I was there. A small line congregated while we waited for our orders to be placed. I got a breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel and a side of potatoes. I did not like the potatoes because they didn't taste done enough to me, they were too pale for my liking. The bagel sandwich was good. The bagel was exceptional. Need a good bagel? This is the spot. Now I didn't love the egg because it tasted fake, like a microwaved egg. I'm not sure if they use real eggs or not, but I don't think they area. But man, that bagel was delicious. I'm sure with a smear on it, it's probably one of the best bagels in town. My order didn't take long to arrive and the prices are reasonable. I loved the bagels so I'll definitely be back and see what else I can try here. I liked what I had but I didn't love it. Not the best experience for my first time trying Boston Bagel. I placed my order on Uber Eats for pickup and was excited at first to get it. My phone prompted me that the order was ready so I headed over to get it but once I got there everything was far from ready I waited another 15 mins for my order to be ready. Never had a Boston Bagel.... not sure this experience is representative of same. I ordered a Tuna fish salad on a Rye Bagel. The tuna was fine. The cucumber slices on the tuna were wilted and soggy and had to be removed. The orange tomato slices were crunchy. I used there online ordering & did not like the system. I decided to get an everything bagel with salmon cream cheese & an iced latte with whipped cream. When I arrived they almost charged me again & I had to explain I paid online which they then confirmed. The iced latte didn't have whipped cream & lacked sugar (didn't realize they wouldn't add sugar). First I got the turkey sandwich lunch, it was supposed to have turkey, swiss, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a garlic cream cheese, I wanted a bagel for the bread and you get a side, I wanted coleslaw. Well, the bagel was rock hard, NO cream cheese, and the tomatoes were cut so huge they were not good. Never again! First and last time! If I could give a zero I would. First, I ordered their 2 scoop chicken salad sandwich on an untoasted bagel and a bag of chips as a side, got a text that said chips weren't available, giving choice of fries or potato salad, chose potato salad, got confirmation text back. While standing in line make sure to grab a menu so that you're prepared to place your order. It was great to read that they received the Best Bagel Award in the Broward- Palm Beach New Times, and voted Top 10 Bagels in all of South Florida. A simple and quiet place to have breakfast. I went to Boston Bagel Cafe on a Sunday morning, shortly before 9am. Most places would be pretty busy around this time but Boston Bagel Cafe was not. There is plenty of parking here since the cafe is in a strip plaza with quite a few other businesses. There were about 6-7 people inside the place when I arrived but 4 of them left when their food was ready. Take out order. I walked up to the counter. There was a specials board with a two items on it, 1 breakfast and 1 lunch. Their was also a small pastry case but no full menu board. I looked around trying to figure out what I wanted and the girl at the register gave me no direction to help me order. I ordered a medium coffee and an everything bagel with cream cheese. I figured that was a safe order for a place I had never been. It was pretty cheap, under 5 bucks for the bagel with extra cream cheese and the coffee. The coffee is self-serve. They had three coffees with flavors, mocha, hazelnut and vanilla. The vanilla was all-gone or never filled. It was still early. The 4th coffee said it was light and crisp with a "spicy" finish. That did not sound appetizing. My bagel was brought out to me pretty quickly. It had a good layer of cream cheese inside. The bagel was decent, although I've had more flavorful everything bagels before. It was lightly toasted which made it a little less messy to eat. All in all, it was a decent bagel and I enjoyed it. When I had finished my bagel, I wanted to take my coffee to go. I went to put a lid on it but the coffee was so hot, the Styrofoam cup became flimsy and broke on me. I cleaned up the mess and asked for a new cup, which they gave me no problem. However, there wasn't really any coffee left so I only got about a quarter of a cup. This place is close to my house, relatively cheap and has the small, local, inexpensive vibe going for it. We placed an order this morning, and after while I was waiting I had started reading some of the reviews. I have been here before so I didn't think much about the ratings at first. I didn't realize the establishment had been bought by new owners, and reading through some of the stories I saw a trend that we experienced as well. Lack of attention to detail. I had hoped these were flukes, but then once we got our order home we were able to dissect everything more. I ordered the Ranchero Loco Omelet. This comes with peppers, onions, cheddar, and homemade pico de gallo with a whole wheat everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. My husband got the Protein Power Omelet which contains turkey, Swiss cheese, spinach, and tomato with a toasted wheat everything bagel and veggie cream cheese. The paper bag containing the bagels was all wet, and it was so full things were spilling out of the top into the bag. We had checked the omelets prior to pulling out of the parking lot based on the reviews I had read before arriving to pick up our food. They looked like the right omelets so that was a plus. My omelet was supposed to have cheddar cheese. I am one of those people who struggles eating eggs without cheese. The omelet was very thick (very eggy) with a dash of cheese. I wasted most of it, because I couldn't stomach it even drenched in salt and chalula sauce. My husband has Type 1 diabetes and had already given himself insulin for our meal and had to eat it. He said it wasn't good, had no flavor, and on top of it they put butter on his bagel. Usually the cream cheese comes on the side. He hates cream cheese so I got extra for myself, but one came with cream cheese and the other with butter and none were supposed to have anything on them. The bagels are only seasoned on one side, and the edges were burnt. The one bagel that did have cream cheese had so little it wasn't enough for the bagel so without my extras I wouldn't have been able to eat it, and my husband couldn't eat his because it was drenched in butter and he is a very healthy eater. The potatoes were wrapped separately in plastic holders with tin foil over the top. They were cold, flavorless, and tasted like cardboard. I am also not sure why they weren't in the boxes with our omelets to prevent the mess in the paper bag. The best thing about the whole meal was my fresh pico de gallo. That had the best taste and flavor out of anything. Moral of the story..... pay attention to what your customers are ordering and asking for. read more

I've been eating here for several years and have established a standardized routine that I rarely stray away from. Let me describe: I'll walk into the Boston Bagel Cafe and the first thing I do is walk over to the refrigerator and grab a small bottle of orange juice. They have the good kind -- Kennesaw. Bear in mind I'm not a coffee drinker. Typically, there isn't a big waiting line, so I can order right away without hesitation. This is what I'll say to the lady behind the bagel counter: "I'll have an egg-and-cheese bagel sandwich on a plain bagel, toasted, with butter." She'll repeat my order to the person behind the cash register, during which point I make my way in that direction. After paying for the orange juice and bagel, I wait at a table as the folks behind the counter prepare the sandwich. This typically takes about three to four minutes. In the meantime, I'll browse through my iPhone looking at Yelp reviews, Facebook status updates and/or e-mails. They also have a TV attached to the wall, which can also help fill the time as they complete my order. If the order is to-go, the folks at Boston Bagel Cafe will wrap the sandwich in a tin-foil type wrap and place it in a brown paper bag with three to four napkins. If the order is for-here, they'll bring it out to me. The bagel is typically sliced in half and is very hot. They use white cheese, which is perfectly melted on top of the egg, which is perfectly scrambled. I do have a couple of tips for you: First, make sure to add a little salt and pepper to the egg portion of the egg-and-cheese bagel to add a little flavor. Two, the earlier you arrive at Boston Bagel Cafe, the fresher the bagels are. I look forward to my trips to Boston Bagel Cafe and I'll visit once a month on average.
