This was a true neighborhood deli that offered several options for every palate. One side is an old fashioned deli market with cold cuts and strawberry preserves with a strong emphasis on real Polish keilbasa and smoked krowlewski cheese - both were amazing and highly recommended. I wondered into the adjoining side and noticed plenty of hot meals including pierogi and stuffed cabbage but my eyes were focased on the crispy potato cakes. I ordered one for $2.50 and sat at a small table to enjoy my treat with a cup of complimentary water mixed with fresh lemons.

This little market has home made pierogis, stews, stuffed cabbage and more! Their deli counter has a wide selection of kielbasa and deli meats. (I recommend the cherry smoked kielbasa!). They also have a prepared food counter and tables to enjoy on the spot. The market has a good selection of Polish beer in cans and bottles, mineral water, wines, cans and jars ranging from mustards to red cabbage, even herring, refrigerated and canned, jams, chocolates, and more! They also have fresh European bread. The staff is quick to offer help, and samples from the deli if you're overwhelmed by the selection! Our Christmas Eve dinner was assembled almost entirely from this market this year.

We haven't been here in a loooong time. However, I met the somewhat new owner, Bianca, at the pompano Dog Park, and my husband is Polish, so we stopped in today for lunch! Greeted by a very nice lady (Bianca wasn't there), and we sat down at a lovely table. Wow, what a nice job Bianca did on the interior! Lighter, brighter, tables, impact windows, and cute little touches. Les got a plate with a few different items, and he said it was all delicious. I got the five assorted perogies, delish! A great value for yummy all homemade food. Also, there is a deli conter, Les got some kielbasa to take home, and we had some leftovers as well. The shop also has many Polish specialties to purchase, mustards, beer, chocolates, etc. We'll be back, thank you!!!

The best Polish deli in the area! You would think this is a Speak Easy for the best Polish food, it's so good!!! I drove right past the place even with the gps. Believe me, once inside you will be amazed at the food they offer. Their potato pancakes were heavenly. Fresh made and still warm, I ate them plain. Their Rosas donuts are amazing, It's worth the drive just for those donuts. Are they open now? I also bought some potato salad and Polish hot dogs. I served the hot dogs to co-workers and they loved them. The Belinki have a nice snap to them. Their dark rye bread was fresh and flavorful. Itoasted it for breakfast with rosas jam. They sell hot food to go and they have a few tables in the front of the store. Stuffed cabbage is one that I plan to try next time I'm in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. They made great suggestions. I can't wait to visit again.

I think it was called Polish casserole. Tastes great.

Found another natural vegetarian dish that tastes great. Worth tasting it. They seem to keep it interesting with new menu items.

I looked at the items in the market. Nothing stood out that I had to get. We then sat down and met our waiter which I believe is also the owner. He had that like Eastern European way about him, stern, direct and right to the point. We ordered the polish plate, pierogi, and potato pancakes and goo-lash. The pancakes came first. You can tell they're homemade. Very thin. Different sizes. They were good. The owner told us to try it with sugar as that's how they do it in Poland. I tried it. It was different. I then tried the pierogi. He gave us one cheese potato, one sauerkraut and one with something else. They were also good. We then got the polish plate which came with sausage, sauerkraut with meat, stuffed cabbage and potatoes. It was ok. I thought the potatoes were eh. The cabbage and the sauce was good the sausage was good. I then got the goo-lash. That thing was thick with large pieces of pork and gnocchi. That was very good. Filling too. Overall, the food was good. Nothing really bad. Solid place. I'd come back.

Although we ordered it all to go, they had us sit in the restaurant area to wait. There were a ton of Polish beer options and it was a cozy place to eat. We will definitely be going back.

From flaky treats to hearty breads, everything in the bakery case looked tempting, and the prices for the baked goods themselves were very reasonable. There's also a nice selection of imported German items that are definitely on the pricier side, but that's expected for authentic products brought in from overseas. The pretzel bread was a standout for me -- soft on the inside, perfectly chewy on the outside, and full of that classic Bavarian flavor. They offer plenty of fresh loaves and traditional German pastries, and it's the kind of place where you can easily walk out with more than you planned because everything looks so good. Throwback to Germany Circa 2006-2011…read more.. We lived in Germany for 5 years and absolutely loved it, namely Bavaria which imho is the best and prettiest region in the entire country. We spent many vacations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and gained an affinity for fine Bavarian-style German food... Old Heidelberg brought back the nostalgia and unique flavors that Bavaria has to offer. Our hotel attendant recommended the restaurant as it's a less than a 1/2 mile walk from the hotel... We gladly obliged, as the Yelp reviews were great. Glad we did because Old Heidelberg was excellent. The restaurant looks like the classic Bavarian joint, with all the decor, music, and quintessential German-feel... When you walk in you instantly want a German draft beer (and they have a great selection to choose from); recommend starting with the dark lager and ending with the pils. As for the food, it was some of the best Bavarian we've had in the States. Everything was scratch cooking, huge portions (way too much to eat in one setting), friendly/prompt service, and simply outstanding. My only complaint was Old Heidelberg was astonishingly expensive ($130 for dinner w/ tip, 2 people... 4 beers and two entrees)... Aside from the hefty price, this place is worth the stop when in town. Dave Portnoy 7.9

They can be ordered plain or with a few sauce options. A favorite was the Bavarian with mushroom gravy and cheese. Oh, this is so good! I tried the saurbraten which is sliced eye of the round with a tangy gravy and dumplings. All of the mains come with soup or salad and spaetzle and red cabbage. The soup is incredible and I could easily eat this daily. All of the food was well prepared and delicious and the portions are huge. We all took food home. Old Heidelberg is a very authentic German restaurant that feels like a trip to the Motherland. Very cozy setting and warm staff make this a special treat. The selection of German beers are a bonus!

We came with the family during the first half of the day and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant specializes in Uzbek and Russian cuisine and is located in a beautiful spot by the lake. There's a large decorative mirror surrounded by flowers, and the restaurant's logo is reflected in it. It's a thoughtful detail that immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere and makes a great photo spot. The restaurant was clean, the staff was polite, and service was fast. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly. I ordered a cappuccino, two khachapuri, and accidentally ordered Kharcho soup when I actually meant to order Solyanka. Thankfully, the Kharcho turned out to be delicious, so no regrets! My husband ordered a steak, while the kids were happy with chicken nuggets and fries from the kids' menu. For dessert, I finally got to try the Pavlova that I had seen on their Instagram page, and it did not disappoint. I've also heard that they host live entertainment and performances on weekends, which makes me want to come back and experience the restaurant in the evening.
