Had breakfast here for the 1st time, it was great, they know how to cook eggs, deliciously crisp hash browns. They do donuts crazy good and now I've tried breakfast...all so yummy!!!my husb tried the pork roll breakfast sandwich, strong recommendation from friend, he LOVED it! the service was great, they ask you how things are, the place is old town cute. Go for the DONUTS !!!! And apple fritters! . I have not eaten at any of their locations other than maybe sneaking a quick bite or two of a donut in their parking lot. So my focus has been and will always be, their DONUTS. And let me tell you, old school classic donut shop...super friendly service; LOVE IT!!!!! if you wanted to eat a meal there or your doughnut, there's tons of seating, so that's not gonna be an issue. Went here searching for a quick breakfast place. Ended up coming back TWO more times because it was so delectable. The dandee omelette is the most perfect omelette I've ever had and the bagels were so yummy and they did not skimp on the cream cheese. The service here was so friendly! Uhm I have mixed emotions about this place. They are a 24hr donut/cafe. They serve food and donuts but the name only includes donuts. With that being said, they were out of a lot of donuts and since they are a 24 hr donut place you would think they would keep a stock. The donuts were okay but tasted old. I really wasn't impressed at all. read more

I have long resisted the urge to stop into this Donut shop, but I could not longer resist, the signage calling me, that they are open 24/7, in this easy to find & park in this laid back ambiance. I stopped in to try the Biscuits and Gravy. The Biscuits are Not made in house, but we're large soft and tasty. The sausage gravy was a little too mild for my liking. Overall they were good. I sat at one of the counter stools and even though they were busy, service was good. I glanced at the donut racks and saw one of my favorite kind and hard to find French Crueller donut. I came here on Sunday night at 8 o'clock ordered three donuts. All three were cold. They do not heat up their donuts and they serve them at room temperature is what I was told then I asked is there a way for it to be heated up no solution. I will not be coming back. read more

Finally had a moment to stop here at this famous donut South Florida local bakery and breakfast joint! I came in for a caramel macchiato and that's exactly what I got and also we ordered a few donuts. Donuts are nice and thick though. Very good when it's fresh. read more

The donuts were not overly sweet and oily like your chain donuts. I had them out for 3 days and the still tasted fresh. When cashing out I was advised to return for breakfast. I heard breakfast is fantastic here. I will return in the future. The service was pleasant, and professional. Mask was worn by the employees and required by the customer. Hand sanitizers were also provided. I'll be going back. read more

What a cool donut shop, and open 24 hours! This is a small place inside, but it has a good amount of outdoor seating. The staff there are really friendly. I ordered half a dozen donuts, which is steep at $9.49, but I'm happy to report it's worth the premium. They actually give you 7 donuts for the half dozen. The donuts were really fresh and tasty. I especially liked the toasted coconut and glazed cruller. Can't wait to come back and try more donuts! read more

Saw reviews for this place as best donut shop in the area. We ventured over to find out for ourselves. We didn't really realize they were offering breakfast too so many bought we'd share some of that as well. We got French toast with side of 2 eggs scrambled and a dozen donuts. The French toast was nice and hot. The eggs tasted just like eggs you'd make at home. Nothing special about either, but both were good. We tried several donuts and consensus was that they were good. The donuts are big heavy and fresh. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I loved the atmosphere they created even as they got busy with patrons coming in. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town. Price seems fair for area. My favorite donuts were the chocolate double, coconut dipped, long glazed and maple dipped. read more

I stopped here last week at 2 AM while returning from a road trip to Miami. And I had to pinch myself because, on paper, a place like this shouldn't even exist. Why? Because... 1. national chains have killed mom and pop restaurants. 2. Covid has killed 24-hour restaurants. 3. Worker shortages have kept menus limited. Yet, here was a mom and pop shop open 24 hours with a huge menu. I was amazed. There were actually people dining OUTSIDE at 2 AM and getting their orders delivered right to their tables. That simply doesn't happen anymore. There are probably not five other restaurants in the entire state of Florida which can say that. I had a half dozen donuts and a tremendous Greek lemon chicken soup. Thank you for making my night by allowing me to avoid a fast food drive thru! read more

TLDR: delicious donuts from the classics to a little wacky. ___ I have a mean sweet tooth and Dandee has been curing that need for a little suga for years. I love pretty much all of theirs donuts. Well at least the ones I've tried because they have about 50 flavors I believe. My go to is Sour cream glazed. It's delicious. Perfect alone or with coffee. It's a cake donut with a delicious sweet glaze coating. Blueberry crunch - I also love the blue berry crunch. Another cake donut with pops of blueberry on it. The jelly donuts are always great. Raspberry it a nice tangy treat. I got a cinnamon sugar last time that was also really good. Chocolate lovers rejoice. They have a variety of chocolate donuts from thick and decadent cake donuts to chocolate glazed and topped with nuts. Staff is always nice. Donuts always consistent and a decent price point. They also do various breakfast dishes but I've only ever gotten the donuts. read more

the first visit we loved. 2nd visit not great. we ordered 2 breakfast specials one with sausage which were the size of 3 inch pencils. no taste. the homefries are decent. they dont come around with 2nds on coffee unless you sit at counter. The decaf was stale. I asked for a fresh cup and had to remind them x 2. the elderly gentleman at the counter was so busy taking all the orders he seemed harried but was pleasant. For a restaurant this busy it should have more waitresses. the female taking orders messed up our order giving us hash browns instead of home fries. I should have refused them but she wouldn't have understood me due to very strong accent and not sure she understood any of the order because she asked me 3 x how I wanted our coffees. The donuts are $3 per item. yes they look very nice and filled with jelly and cream but we ordered a glazed stick and a sourdough glazed donut and both were stale tasting. Our bill was $49. Thats it. Our last visit. they have outside seating but you must order at the desk first and they bring it to you as they are mopping the floors at the same time. Not my idea of a pleasant breakfast. sees very disorganized to me. better service at counter read more

My employees are always very happy when I bring in Dandee donuts to work. All of the donuts are large!! They have a variety of flavors. The Snickers donut and toasted coconut are my favorite! They are much more superior than Dunkin' Donuts but sometimes can be a bit dry. I would still recommend! read more

I've raved about this place and stop by when I'm in town. They have the softest freshest yummiest donuts. However, this time around I was disappointed. Not sure if it was because I stopped too late but I swear the donuts were NOT as fresh, it was tough and when I asked why they were so dense and tough , a snooty response I got from the older guy was bcuz it was a cake donut. Uhhh not so bcuz I've had the same donuts before and they werent as hard as this. Not sure if they were havinhlg an off day and decided to give me older donuts or what but I'm really disappointed cause this place is usually spot on. I threw all 3 donuts in the trash. I will stop by again next time I'm in town and will give it another shot, hoping the owner reads this cause I love local places like this read more

Moved into the area I'm from NYC so I was excited to find a spot that was 24/7 and I could walk to for a sandwich or a bacon egg and cheese breakfast. Disappointed isn't even the word! I ordered some homefries $3.50 and was so sad when I got home I paid for burnt flavorless potatoes. The portion and presentation was not even worth the price! I also had a bacon egg and cheese on a hoogie with two donuts and I paid almost $18 no drink! Sure the donuts are decent better than Dunkin' but not worth the price for the quality of food honestly. Manager is a disgusting person. I pulled in drive thru for my to go order. Was told I had to come in by 2 different employees. I showed them the Dandee website saying order online and pick up in drive thru. So they call the manager, who states he is aware of it. An employee who no longer works there did it and it has not been taken down yet. So l, I get my food and proceed to talk to me friend who is on the car phone with me the whole time. I say to her so they are aware of it, as I drive off. The manager yells out "What, get the fuck out of here". Yes. So I go inside he does not come to address the issue. The other employees assist. I did not curse him or was note rude neither were the employees. I just pointed out that the website says you can pick up in the drive thru. Did not deserve this. read more

This is seriously my absolute favorite donut place. The store is old and grungy, but man those donuts are delicious! They have all different types, but my favorite are the fluffy fried type, with glaze on top. Vanilla glaze is my fave, strawberry really good too. OMG- they aren't kidding! This place is literally the best! the wait staff was bright and cheerful, they were so fast, and they were genuine. I don't normally tip on take out, but the women are fantastic. There was a line out the door and I only waited 5 minutes! They are a diner style eat in or you can pick up to take home, I chose the latter. The donuts are light and airy with just enough sweet and the bagel was perfect. I'm not a donut person but they have the BEST grab and go breakfast sandwiches and omelets. Steak, cheese and egg bagel is the best! What is additionally a stand out for this place is their efficiency to get an order in and out. All while doing it with a smile and personality. Very friendly place with great breakfast options. The location is lovely, overlooking the ocean. If it were cooler a patio spot would have definitely added to the experience. First, I need to be an old lady for two things: 1. The super tiny font on the menu. I could make out the menu item name but reading the fine print of the description was damned near impossible. While the ambiance-lighting may have contributed to the difficulty, I feel like they could have chosen a better, and bigger, font. 2. Noise level - it was awful. I will *never* understand why restaurant decorators fail to address a noise level. It was awful. We were with my elderly Aunt and WE were having difficulties, so I know she was. All three of us have been in the restaurant business and that was quite literally the first thing we commented on when we sat down. That aside our experience was terrific. The area where this is located is nice, shared parking nearby, and a number of places to walk by and look in or eat at (we did not do that ourselves). We did not make reservations and didn't have to wait too long for a table (it was summer, so I'd suggest reservations during the cooler months). Our waiter was Ariel and he was fantastic. I have a couple of food issues that helped me to make sure that I was able to work around. I ended out getting the Shrimp & Grits without the ham and it was super good. It was a little too much creole sauce for me, but still tasty. The portion was plentiful. One of my dining partners received a dish that I believe was also creole spiced and it was too spicey for her. Ariel helped her find something else to eat and took care of it immediately. Because of my delay, I totally forgot what my third dining partner ordered but she was pleased with her dish. (she was the repeat visitor, so I *know* she enjoys the place. Even though the noise level was dreadful during our entire visit, our visit was a good one. Thank you for reading my review.

Management seems very unorganized. They should assign one person specifically to seat guests, and when there is no wait, that person could float and assist elsewhere. After waiting, I finally asked a waiter if I could seat myself. I sat down and waited almost 10 minutes, and no one even came to offer water. At that point, I decided to get up and take my business elsewhere. The service today was horrible, and it seems that as they get busier, the service gets even worse. I do not recommend this place at all.

We were seated by the same gentleman who served us. He seemed happy to greet us as we came through the door and was a good server as well. My Apple Cinnamon Waffles were perfectly prepared, crispy outside and side inside with the perfect amount of apple cinnamon compote. Absolutely yummy! My friend's sandwich came without tomato. The cost to add it after was too much so he went without it. Then he noticed a long hair in his cheesy grits! We both shave our heads so we knew it wasn't ours. We notified the server and he apologized while having it replaced. My friend did say it tasted great after finally eating it. Overall, this was a good experience after we laughed about the hair, what are the odds?! We'll be back, not years later...

Fun dancing spot with an adult crowd 30's-60's. Plenty of regulars and tourists patrons. Tip! It's cheaper to park at the restaurant than the $20/ hr city lot across the street. I would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the mood for a fun beach atmosphere with amazing views of the ocean. I've also eaten in the main dining room before. Everyone gets an ocean view. This is the kinda place that can double duty as a romantic dinner as well.

It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation which is exactly what I was looking for.

We paid $400+ per night (amenities included, valet separate) and found out the hotel sells $45/day passes to non-guests. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel could not move us because it was full. We were told we'd get 2 chairs, access to the private beach, and 2 welcome drinks. No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. I wish we read the comments before staying because it seems to be a recurring theme.

One thing that always drives me crazy was the fact that my scrambled eggs were served in the same dish as my pancakes. I hate this as the syrup inevitably gets to the eggs. Fortunately, I had a second small dish under my tea (which is also a great thing to get, to place my tea bag). I used this dish for my eggs. Another nice convenience was the mug for my tea which had a handle that I could actually put my fingers through (another area that restaurants fail to provide). In addition, I also ordered a side of sausage which came in patties form and was pretty tasty. The Bottom Line: As always my "customer so what" would I come back? The answer, probably. Although the ambiance was substandard, the food was good the service was as well so, it more than likely would be worth another visit on my next stop in town.

Penny wise dollar foolish. My father always taught me that about business. We come here a couple of times a year because we love there doughnuts and get them for special occasions vs cake. We decided to eat breakfast there this year and it will be the last time. Besides being told we had to buy coffee refills (I guess the $.18 the coffee cost is not enough profit) They told me I had to wait back in line to get it. Wow that is all I can say about that. The server actually said the owner does not allow it. So, if my kids insist to get your doughnuts for there special occasions we will go to Lester's next door for breakfast you lost that $40 breakfast bill. But, before that I will try to take them to other places hoping we will never have to go back. Many new doughnut places out there. What an unfortunate experience we had this evening at Dandee on Atlantic Boulevard. Not only were we racially profiled to start with , then to be treated so rudely . If the older guy who helped us is the owner all I can say is maybe it's time to let your employees handle the evenings , if you don't trust them enough to do so now is the time to hire someone else , SO many people are looking for work who would love a job ! To be so cranky to customers who CHOOSE to spend their hard earned money especially right now at this establishment , be a bit more polite! Ordered two steak, egg and chesse sandwiches on a kieser roll. Ended up with bacon instead of steak because of the young waitress working cash register at around 11pm 03/12/17. When I came into picking up the order, I over heard her saying how she's "not ready for tonight but will make the best of it". First, do your job by listening first instead of wanting to be heard so that customers can feel sorry for you. This factory seems like the only thing they care about, is accumulating enough money to either send the owner on vacations every week or opening another building , either way, the customers suffer instead of the cops. I went there before with 8 BSO cops eating and being treated better the "non cops". I guess Dandee factory appreciate people that can determine life or death on the spot vs. someone that may come there everyday! read more

Such a cute donut spot with amazing donuts and an even better atmosphere! Everything we got was absolutely delicious--the donuts were fresh, soft, and had so many fun and tasty toppings. What really made the experience special was the owner. He was so nice, funny, and welcoming, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. The whole place has such a cool, fun, and laid-back environment that makes you want to hang around and enjoy yourself. A lovely place to have a meal, especially a breakfast or a snack. The place is modern, however, has a charming classic style that makes you feel welcomed. Absolutely delicious. This is a testament that there is still great food in the world. All the donuts are freshly made and to die for. Their iced coffee is delicious. I have also had breakfast there once and it did not disappointment. Every time I have a friend in town I bring them here. They are under priced for such great quality donuts. Why did I get two donuts when one doughnut is the size of my face. People wait in line for the coffee but also treat themselves to these gigantic treats. My favorite donuts are glazed twist, and sour cream blueberry. The shop had both, but I did not need to order two. Those donuts lasted two days. The yeast twist was very very dense but so fresh. The blueberry sour cream that I ate the next day was still fresh and the taste of fresh blueberries was very obvious. The shop was manned by two hard-working women. Coffee was made fresh. They also serve various lattes and cappuccinos. It's definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the Los Olas area.
