We ended up getting donuts because we were already there. I've visited their Hollywood location. I've never noticed this one till they had their event. Anyway, donuts are like $3.15 each. I had the chocolate which was standard and okay. I tried the pbj and the jelly taste very artificial. But it was okay. It didn't taste right though. Also tried the Apple fritter, it was standard. Sadly, this location was nothing compared to the one in Hollywood, FL. We stopped by on our way out for a road trip and decided to grab breakfast through the drive-thru. We ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, the burrito was disappointing. The tortilla tasted old, it was very small, and it only came with a tiny container of salsa on the side. The bagel also wasn't what I expected--it tasted more like regular bread than a traditional bagel. The only thing I really enjoyed was the glazed donuts. Those were fresh, delicious, and definitely the highlight of the visit. Cake donuts are lyfe. I had been dreaming about Dandee's sour cream donuts even before Dandee Donut Factory in Hollywood became Hollywood Donut Factory. I'm sure that location is still great but I was able to live without having to buy donuts for some years. Then came an impromptu trip to Margate since we saw there is a Dandee Donut Factory there. And Costco. Because why not. The time to eat donuts is now. We only bought donuts to go so I can't speak to the dine-in experience or food. The diner counter and tables looked fun to sit at. Their breakfast sandwiches sound amazing and I drooled a little accidentally looking at their diner menu. Did they always make bagels? I'm not that much of a Dandee connoisseur but I feel inspired to go back and try the bagels and their food food. The counter wasn't very busy when we walked in, thanks to two staff workers who were taking orders. Imagine my delight when we asked for a half dozen donuts and the gentleman staffer said we can choose 7. I will now miscount dozens from now on. I asked for the sour cream donuts because the shelf for them was empty (gasp) and he reassured me that they have more in the back to refill. We asked what the crunch part of the blueberry crunch donut was and he said the blueberries themselves have been prepared to be crunchy. We got 2 of those and they were the best bites in the whole box. The donuts were chock full of flavor of the blueberries and the crunch from them was the unexpected texture you want in a donut to cut through the dense dough. No wonder these donuts are one of their best selling ones. We got an apple fritter because it was massive, like a bear claw ate a stack of biscuits. The cinnamon and apple tastes were present but the dough was a little empty to me, so it left a lot of oil taste. Like it reminded you that all these buggers have been deep fried when you don't want to be reminded. The chocolate, double chocolate and cookies and cream donuts all used the same chocolate donut base which was a little dry to me but had nice cocoa flavor. It's strange but I ended up preferring some frosting to the chocolate donuts to have some moisture to the bite. Wow! This location is absolutely adorable. I love the old diner feel. I used to go to the original location in Pompano but then I moved out west so this was a pleasant surprise! Their donuts are the BEST hands down. Sour cream glazed and blueberry crunch are always my go to but every once in a while I splurge on some of the other unique flavors. I was on my way to work, so I could not return. The cold brew is better than the regular iced coffee, that is a welcome addition. The waitress was friendly, and the staff attentive - my coffee cup never went empty (huge bonus!). We had pancakes, and the serving size is a generous three flapjacks, and chicken Philly cheesesteak, which comes with Ruffles chips. I have big eaters, so everyone finished their meals (and polished off mine too), so we split three donuts. Well dandee donuts usually make really unique donuts. Today I went there to get a box of dandee donuts. I saw a rack that sell "Sell these first" meaning those were the old donuts to sell first. I asked the kid at the drive through to get me fresh donuts and instead out of spite he gave me hours old donuts off the old donut rack. I stopped in early for a coffee, this was my first time trying a caramel macchiato here. It was perfect, i didnt need to add any sweetner it was made just right. I ordered a small and it was enough for me, the prices are great here very affordable in my opinion. The cashier was very kind and efficient on making the coffee and returning my card in the drive thru. I really love what they do to the place during the holidays. They had an awesome painter come out and paint holiday pictures on the windows. My favorite is mickey and minnie. A great way to get in the holiday spirit. We arrived around 7 a.m. as I've seen this place later where they've had lines waiting for both take out and din-in. No problem finding a seat this early. The first thing I always do a scan on how the restaurant looks. Walking in the place is always spotless. To the left as you walk in is their smaller dining area with a counter that you can sit at if you like. There are 4 booths and 1/2 booth with 4 tables (one that seats 6 if you have a small group with you). Today, there were three of us, so we chose a booth (a tight squeeze for a "fluffy" guy like me lol!). The breakfast menu is nothing out of ordinary. Omelets, eggs, French toast, and breakfast sandwiches. I had the Ultimate Omelet, and my dining guest had ordered steal cut oats and the 2 eggs breakfast. All in all, it was a good and hardy breakfast for all. Of course coming, here you can't leave without donuts! So we ordered a dozen donuts to go (they give you 13 donuts). Having been there for breakfast a few times with my family I can confidently say that it's a great place for breakfast. Good coffee and good sandwiches.
