True bait and switch company. I decided to order directly from the website of a local East Bay florist vs through a large third party company or website (like bloom nation) to support local. My friend had just gotten out of surgery and I wanted to brighten his day. I ordered the enhanced version of the "pick me up" bouquet, which included a blue vase with rainbow ribbon. When he sent me a picture of the flowers he received I was dumbfounded- it looked like a $10 bouquet from Safeway. No where near the amount of flowers I paid for (almost $100 including delivery) and no beautiful vase or ribbon in sight. I called to complain and they said they could PICK UP THE VASE to add more flowers, but I didn't want to stress out my friend with having his flowers taken away and probably given back with an extra bud added. They should have offered a full new bouquet or a partial refund, but had some excuse as to why they couldn't offer part of my money back. They did offer a free delivery for my next order, but I will never be ordering from them again. What an embarrassment. read more

I have no words to describe how highly disappointed I am with the product, the service, and the overall experience. I asked for big sympathy flowers to be delivered to a funeral today. The product looked nothing like what what assured to me on the phone and the screenshot of the website. I paid premium for this product and paid extra for more flowers and lilies which totaled to $230. I gave a generous tip in advance, which made the actual total to $240. I contacted the store phone multiple times and even texted the personal number of staff (I got her number because she sent me a picture of my receipt and confirmed the price that I paid extra for). I get no response from anyone in the store. I do not wish to recommend this service. Be aware. Update: I received a call back from the manager (Teresa) and she says I am not able to receive a refund and I requested that she text that to me and she said "Im not going to do that to my business so that you can be covered and Im not." in an unprofessional manner. It is not that I want free arrangements, Teresa, I just want the service and product to equate to what I paid for. I think these are new owners. Came to grab some flowers recently and asked for a bouquet, similar to the one they had on display. I was quoted a specific price, for that exact style of bouquet. When it came time for me to pay, they charged me extra. Not only did that happen, they arranged the bouquet with wayyy less flowers than the model bouquet. I hate to give small businesses negative reviews, but I think they can do a little better. Hindsight I should've went to another florist, but Lee's was not open! read more

My boo brought me followers for Valentine's Day and they changed him $140 for 16 short, half dead roses and they did not want to give him a vase! These are not premium roses! They price gouged him. He wanted to support a local business because of COVID and he got bamboozled. He was advocating for his self and showed the lady on that the website advertised roses that were long, with chocolate, balloons bear and vase for the a less price. He said that the shop lady was very rude and pushy to him. In his words "she was taking advantage of me because I have an accent." She charged my thoughtful guy triple the price on a bad product and degraded him while he was to do something nice for me. She should've honored the website price. There were no balloons, no candy, no bear and it would've been no vase but he was like" you have to give me something. " I'm the first person that he's ever bought him a Valentine's Day gift for and this is the experience that he has to live with. Being taken advantage of. Not only was she helpful, she was very patient over the phone to make sure I got exactly what I wanted in a floral spray. Her attention to every detail was covered, including delivery on the day before the funeral to allow the star gazaers in the spray to open and that the flowers be very fresh. Thank you Clara. I will never use this service again, I had a family friend's grandmother passed away, I ordered an arrangement to be sent to the funeral home the day before the service so it's not to have any problems with delivery, I ordered this arrangement on September 16th funeral services were today September 26th, and get a call from the owner of the shop today the day of the funeral saying they were not able to do the delivery because their website has been messed up they take full responsibility for the mistake and all they can do is give me my money back, what about my mental emotional welfare what about the fact that I can't be at the services so I thought I'd send an arrangement to that my friend and family know that I am here and I care, this is bad business you should never do this to anyone especially when they're in grief, I will never use this service and I suggest no one else do. read more

I ordered flowers for my sister-in-law's quiet hour and they were never delivered. The order was placed on Monday for a Friday service. The order was paid in full the same day. All of the delivery detail given for the floral stand and a banner from my husband and his siblings. On the day of the quiet hour there were no flowers. I tried calling the florist and they don't have an answering machine. I wrote and email but the funeral was the next day. I received a phone call during the funeral with an apology but it can not make up for a missed delivery of something so important. They offered to deliver the flowers after the funeral. When families are hurting it is so unfortunate that a business can't provide decent service. If you order please follow up with them to make sure you get what you pay for. read more

I'm so sorry to say this but I had terrible experience with this flower shop. I went there with full confidence and trust because of other people's ratings and I wish I did not. Flowers were supposed to be 10-12 calla lilies filled with white veronicas and some " green filling stuff if necessary." It was supposed to be a bouquet for the bride and it ended up looking awful! There were barely 10 mini calla lilies and some tiny white wild looking like flowers which I saw that they had in one of the vases while making my order. And even bigger problem is the fact that most of "wild" tiny flowers were already half dead. Since the flowers were delivered while I wasn't home, I didn't have and opportunity to say anything. Definitely not worth $75 which I spent there and I'm definitely gonna go there to talk to the owner and try to figure out how did it go so terribly wrong. UPDATE: After two weeks of trying to resolve my problem with the owner who kept ignoring and avoiding me, the employee gave me an advice to try to dispute a charge with my bank. And I did so. Lidia helped make my wedding planning both easier and more fun. She spent a LOT of time with me figuring out exactly what I wanted (I am fairly clueless about flowers). She was extremely knowledgeable about what flowers would be in season and would work with the shape and texture that I wanted (much harder task for a December wedding!!). She was friendly, available, and knew her business- what more can you ask from a florist! My only hesitation to give five stars was that about a week before the wedding when I brought her my ribbons, she told me she had changed her plans and would not be the one doing my actual flowers, but her colleague from the flower market would be doing them. I was a little taken aback by this, but I trusted her! Mostly, it went off fine: The Awesome: All wedding party flowers were completely gorgeous. I was crazy about the boutonnieres, bridesmaids' bouquets, corsages, etc. My bouquet itself was to die for and I was thisclose to holding onto it forever, Ms. Havisham style. The color, shape, weight, texture, even the subtle peacock-feather accents were from my wildest dreams. Not Awesome: The guy from the flower market was just not as familiar with what I had discussed with Lidia as he should have been- a few weeks before the wedding, I had asked for some flowers to supplement my centerpieces and decorate the bathrooms, gift table, etc. I went out of my way to get appropriate vases, etc. This guy knew nothing about them. He eventually went and found something pretty appropriate on his truck, but they weren't really enough or what I had expected. They were ok, not great. In the meantime my Mom and day-of-coordinator had completely freaked out because he didn't have everything on the list. NOT fun for a bride the morning-of to try to navigate. Not sure where that detail got lost in translation. But overall, I have great pictures and memories of my flowers, and in the end that's what counts! We had some deaths in the family so we ordered several bouquets that were terrific and delivered to the funeral homes. But i ordered flowers on 2/12/19 for my new wife for Valentine's Day and they were never delivered. I understand that 2/14 must be one of the craziest days for the flower and candy business so i have very specific instructions for delivery. I never got a call. Apparently they called my wife(the intended recipient) who can't get calls. That i understood. But when i found it there was no delivery the owner(over the phone) refused to give me a 100% refund. First she offered 50%. Then after some negotiation she offered the cost of the bouquet minus the delivery which had never happened. I told her never mind just keep all the money. I was pretty upset and I spent over $500 there last year but I'm never buying flowers there again. I'm giving this 2 stars because the woman who worked there was nice. read more

One time in particular, Parisa delivered the dozen roses herself to the recipient on the day before Valentine's Day! I couldn't believe her dedication to her customers and personal touch. Well.. where can I start? My boyfriend ordered a bouquet for me for Valentines and it never showed up.. He called me to ask me if I received anything and I told him no. He said that he had called to confirm with the florist that it would be delivered after closing hours from 7-9pm (yes she specifically said it will be delivered from that time range), but I still did not receive the bouquet. My boyfriend lives in Florida and now he has to make several calls regarding the bouquet. It ruined his day, my day, and we are still searching for that missing bouquet. They have a store policy that says: "We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances. We will contact you immediately if we are delayed and will contact your recipient to arrange a convenient delivery time if necessary." They could have called us. But they NEVER called me or him to tell us that they could not deliver the bouquet. So much for a store policy.. And I bet you anything IF AND WHEN that bouquet arrives, it's going to look nothing like he ordered. read more
