Service and Staff: - Order at the kiosk or the counter in the back of the restaurant. They will call your name when the food is ready for you to go pick it up in the back Food and Drinks: - Hojicha Latte: delicious. Anytime a place sells a hojicha latte, I'm all over it. It wasn't too sweet, which I appreciated - Bulgogi Egg Sandwich: this was very tasty! Love the Korean and American fusion with this dish. It was also very filling Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via metered street parking (free on Sundays or weekdays after 6pm) - Indoor and outdoor seating available - Good for pairs and smaller groups (might be able to get away with pushing two tables other to fit 6-8). Most tables fit 4 - Lots of food and drink options - Casual ambiance - some people were working and some were brunching

Super cute cafe/brunch spot! Love the interior and aesthetics, with the green walls, dark wood, and plants. My friends and I came this past Saturday a little before noon. We ordered on the tablet near the front entrance. Some of us wanted our drinks to-go, so we ordered those separately at the register in the back. I ordered the Pesto Egg Toast and an iced Horchata Latte with oat milk, less sweet. The toast was yummy, and the portion was perfect for me. It was enough to make me satisfied. I liked the sunny side up eggs and pesto. The latte was also good. I could really taste the cinnamon in the drink. Even with less sweetness, it was still relatively sweet so I'm glad I adjusted it.

Back and still obsessed with this place! I got the bulgogi croissant this time and... thought it was okay. It was definitely messy to eat and although I could taste the bulgogi I did feel like it was a whole lot of croissant but maybe it was because this was served cover versus hot? Kimchi fried rice did taste like a whole lot of sesame and I wish it was a bit more flavorful. I believe my sister got something with pesto and she thoroughly loved it. Loved my tiramisu latte.

Nice cafe with drinks, pastries and small plates. Lots of seating inside and outside. Counter service and they bring it to your table.

The biscoff iced latte and jalapeño egg breakfast sandwich was so bomb. I also got their strawberry matcha on the way out. They have free wifi and lots of indoor and outdoor seating, nice to spend some time in the sun there

Out of all the drinks we tried, I highly recommend the Tiramisu Latte -- I'm still thinking about it to this day. It had the perfect balance of flavor without being overly sweet, while still maintaining a rich, delicious coffee taste. My husband ordered the Honeycomb Latte and really enjoyed it, and my sister got the Biscoff Latte, which she loved as well. We'll definitely be back!

I was looking for a coffee shop to do some work and came across this gem. The interior is so cozy and aesthetic with a good number of tables whether you're eating or grinding through some work. It wasn't super loud, just light ambient noise, which made it a perfect spot to get things done. They have food options on the menu but I didn't get to try any, so I'll have to report back on that. You can order through the kiosk up front or walk to the back to order with someone. I was ready to listen for my name but they actually brought it to me, nice touch. The tiramisu latte was good but not extraordinary. I got what I paid for and it definitely gave me the caffeine I was looking for. I'll be back to try other drinks and eventually the food.

Date: 12/29/2025 Time: 1:25 PM 57° Sunny My younger sister suggested this restaurant for lunch. It is our first time here and we did not know what to expect. After perusing the menu, I ordered the Pesto Press on ciabatta bread. It included a side salad. My sister ordered the bulgogi croissant. Although the service was a tad slow, it was expected as there were only three employees handling all the patrons who were dining here. My guesstimate was about 15 people indoors and 6 people in the outdoor parklet area. Ambiance is quite comfy and casual. There is a self-serving kiosk near the entrance. The other option is walk to the other end of the restaurant and order food and beverage from the owner/cashier. Two menus are on the counter. One is for the various lattes and hot/cold teas. The other for sandwiches, toasts and bowls. My sister and I enjoyed our lunch. The pesto press consisting with layers of ham, mozzarella cheese, lettuce mix, sliced tomato topped with pesto and balsalmic glaze was absolutely delicious. I am not a coffee drinker, but I was eager to have the tiramisu latte. Other lattes I want to drink are the ube, lavender and the guava matcha. Y'all know what that means - return visits in the future. My sister's bulgogi croissant looked scrumptious. Wow! A crispy buttered croissant with loaded tender bulgogi beef, onions, cucumber, mixed greens and a homemade gochujang sauce was certainly eye candy. (Yummy!) Street parking is slim or none since it is on a main thoroughfare. However, there is a public parking lot across the street between Fire Wings and Sub Par. Public transportation is nearby (AC #30, 31 and 51A).

Order: 1 Small Coco Cloud Iced Matcha 1Egg, Cheese, and Jalapeño Croissant Sandwich 1 Coco Muffin Total: $32.45 Visit: Monday, 01/19/26 at 11:00 AM This establishment was The Preacher's Daughter, which I previously loved. The new owner did their thing here, the interior is beautifully decorated--I loved all the plants and framed art throughout the space. They truly transformed the bar area and added an abundance of greenery, making the space very aesthetically pleasing. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Parking can be tricky, but there is a parking lot across the street and another around the corner. Overall, the food was great. I enjoyed my sandwich--it was good, though nothing particularly special. I did find the pricing a bit high; however, I didn't mind paying because I love supporting women-owned businesses, and I felt it was worth it. The matcha latte was amazing. I had never tried matcha made with coconut water before, and it was incredibly refreshing, hydrating, and delicious. I also really enjoyed the in-house chocolate muffin. The service was good. You have the option to order at a self-service kiosk or directly at the counter with staff. I ordered my drink at the kiosk and my food at the counter. The staff made sure to inform me that food was taking longer than usual, as the place was quite busy when I arrived around 11:00 AM. Seating was still easy to find. The food did take a while, and while the staff was extremely busy, there was a bit of disorganization when calling out which order belonged to which customer. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely return to try more drinks and food.

Bright beautiful space to brunch, sip, work and connect. Ordered from the kiosk each time I have been here but I think in the future I will order at the counter to tweak things a bit - I don't like overly saucy, no option for sauce on side. Eats: - bulgogi croissant, satisfying and love the greens - big breakfast plate - all the essentials done well - summer bowl, fresh and bountiful Drink: - matcha cloud latte, w/oat + espresso shot - best matcha on the island and rivals places like Maiko, creamy, matcha forward and just enough sweet to feel like a treat Fantastic curated experience with top notch drinks and service. Love that they use glassware, mugs and plates - so inviting and cozy.

Our monthly coffee meet-up spot at the Marketplace was busy on our recent get-together and someone in our group suggested we head across the street to Dandelion. It's a newer café in the area and has a good number of tables, a bar counter, two tables out front and an outdoor patio on the side. We ordered at the counter, though afterwards, we noticed a self-order kiosk at the entrance. They have coffees, matchas, teas, sandwiches, bowls, and some pastries in a case. After we placed our orders at the counter, we parked ourselves at the table. When the order was completed, it was brought to our table. I had an Americano and it was good. Nice quaint and quieter atmosphere as opposed to our regular spot. I think Dandelion will be part of our group's coffee meet-up going forward.

I got the honeycomb latte. Heads up - you can order directly at the cafe area at the back. I walked in and was waiting a while because the people in front of me took a long time. Then, I realized you can just order with the staff at that back counter where they make coffee. The honeycomb latte was good. Not too sweet. I like my drinks hotter temperature wise. I did some work there and it was a nice environment.

Visited Dandelion Kaffe for the second time after their soft opening and had a delicious brunch. The space was busy but there were plenty of indoor and outdoor tables, a tablet to order, and several staff members to also order from. We went to the back and ordered and was provided some great suggestions by the staff. We ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice, which was so cozy and filling. My partner had a dirty Ube and Bulgogi Croissant and both were yummy. I highly recommend and will be coming back for the wide array of toasts and other dishes and of course the coffees and teas!

1465 Webster St Alameda, CA 94501…read more I had a fair experience here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I had a day planned that included cleaning the garage, so I figured a big breakfast would be good. I walked in just before 9am, and the place was empty. A waitress greeted me and told me to sit anywhere. It's actually hard to pick a table when the place is empty. Cape 7 has a fairly large dining room. It used to be a Sizzler Restaurant. Before Cape 7, it was "Shell Shock." Cape 7 never changed the Shell Shock decor, so it has a nautical theme. A pirate stands guard by the restrooms. So I sat at a booth by the window. I sat back and the bench seat was broken. A gentleman raced over and switched the bench seats. Wow, you have to be careful when you sit down at Cape 7. I ordered a Denver Omelette w/ hash browns, a side of Pancakes, and Coffee. It took about 10-min for my food to come. By 9am more customers came in. After my food arrived, I didn't see a waitress or waiter for 20-mins. Then the owner arrived, and a waitress checked on my table every 5 mins. The Denver Omelette was made with 4 eggs. The serving size was pretty large. The two pancakes were a bit dry. I needed more butter and syrup. Instead, I used alot of jams (that were on the table). The food was okay, I might come back for breakfast again. Off street parking lot in back.

The French toast combo was basic. The sausage links were under cooked, the over medium eggs were more over easy and the French toast took too long. As I was leaving at 11 a live band was getting ready to perform. I don't plan to come back.

Service was quiet but attentive, which made the whole experience feel effortless. The food was the real star. We started with the Brussels sprouts (light, crispy, and perfectly cooked), calamari (well‑seasoned and not heavy at all), and warm biscuits with whipped honey butter--so good. The clam chowder stole the show for us: poured tableside, rich but not heavy, and full of flavor. For entrées, the seafood pasta was fantastic, the lobster rigatoni was delicious (just wished for a bit more lobster), the ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the lamb--while tasty--could've used a touch more time. Overall, this place is an easy 5 stars. Beautiful atmosphere, great service, and memorable food. I'll definitely be back to try the dishes we couldn't get to.

I was surprised that I didn't have to hold the reservations with a credit card which was nice. We arrived a few minutes early and waited just a few minutes before our table was ready. As soon as we sat down the hostess asked if we needed any waters. Our waiter Jacob also came around right away to see if we wanted to order any drinks, we ordered the old fashioned, the Mai tai special, and margarita. Drinks came back pretty quick which was good. All the drinks tasted pretty good. For starters we ordered the calamari for the table, fruit salad, clam chowder, and a wedge salad. The calamari came out first, it was cooked perfect, had good flavor to it, the Brussel sprouts mixed with it was tasty, and the lemon sauce that came with it was refreshing. The clam chowder was excellent but it was more like a cup than a bowl. The wedge salad was okay, I've never had eggs in my wedge before, and it could use some better bacon bits or whatever it was for the bits of meat. The fruit salad was great. For our entrees we ordered the Ribeye, the Lamb chops, the Pork chop, the New York or Sirloin, and the Duck Breast. The good thing is that all of the entrees came with sides versus a la cart. The entrees came out after a while which wasn't too bad. It seemed like they only had one waiter taking orders for all the tables. Ribeye, Lamb Chops, Pork Chop Sirloin, and the Duck Breast were cooked perfect, med rare, and great flavor on all the meats. The ribeye was a little tough which was weird since it was cooked perfect., so I don't why that was. All the sides (cream spinach, mashed potatoes, corn, brussel sprouts) were very good. For dessert we shared the Strawberry Shortcake and the Churros. Two great desserts, fluffy bread, tasty strawberries, the sauce was perfect, the churros came out hot, nice crunch to them, and the flavor was great. Overall, a great place to have dinner. The restaurant has plenty of seating. We go all around the bay area and I believe prices are pretty high for drinks, soups, salads, and desserts. We didn't have any Italian food but looking at the menu, they could be just a tad high as well. Our waiter Jacob did a great job.

This place is great for any meal of the day, and as a late-night spot. When we come for brunch, I'll usually go with the Greek veggie omelette. When in the mood for pizza, their veggie pizza is honestly one of the best ones I've had - loaded with fresh veggies and in a pesto sauce - noms. My French toast was ok, a little wet inside for me and kinda had an eggy taste which I personally don't like but I understand that's the risk when ordering French toast, however I thought there could've been more fruit or seasoning to it. It's also a bummer that you have to pay $7 extra for 3 pieces of bacon it would be nice if the plate came with bacon and eggs. The beignets were fluffy and delicious with the chocolate sauce which again shouldn't be an extra $3 charge in my opinion. The waitress took off the mimosa for my bfs birthday which was very nice. I would absolutely come back and happy to rate 5/5 stars. Oh one thing I really didn't like was 2 people vaping outside as I am pregnant and inhaling their strawberry smoke but I didn't say anything but it would've been nice if the staff noticed as they were presenting their vapes on the table as if it was cups of water.

We asked for a Matcha Latte and Iced Tea. About 5 minutes later she came back to the table and asked again what we wanted. And it took about 15 minutes for the drinks to get to our table. Following the drinks we ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and Monte Cristo. Both options tasted great. The only thing was that the potatoes that were paired with the Benedict tasted like they had been reheated. They were super dry and wilted. The others tasted fine. We told the server, but she was so frazzled so I guess it didn't matter. I liked this place, but honestly would probably not come back due to their lack of consistency and service.

When: Tue @9am I…read morekeep hearing about this place and felt I am long overdue to give it a try. Sadly it was not a great experience for us getting breakfast there. You line up first to order, then you sit down. For some reason the cashier did not hear my second order and that made the transaction twice as long. Here's what we ordered: HUEVOS RANCHEROS - $15 2 over easy eggs on fried tortillas, red salsa, beans, potatoes, sour cream. This has got to be the saddest Huevos Rancheros plate I've seen and experienced. Wish the dallop of scour cream was bigger, and overall this dish was just okay. It felt unhappy, but the taste was fine, nothing memorable. BREAKFAST SANDWICH - $8 Egg Cheese, and choice of meat (sausage) and bread (croissant.) Somehow this was serviced on sourdough, and it's not worth having them fix this. It's also not worth $8, it looks and tastes like something I can easily make at home. All in all, we were very unhappy with our time and food here, but glad we finally gave it a shot and tried it!

A coworker of mine has been recommending West Cafe in Alameda for about a year now. He's a regular…read moreand stops by a few times a week for coffee, so I finally decided to check it out myself on a rainy Saturday morning. The place was pretty busy when I arrived, which is always a good sign. I ordered the French toast special, which comes with three pieces of French toast, eggs, and a side of meat. Since I don't eat pork and they didn't have turkey bacon available that day, I ended up getting a piece of chicken with it and a large coffee. The coffee was excellent--a nice big diner-style cup and really good quality. You can tell why people come here regularly just for coffee. The French toast was really good and came topped with strawberries and raspberries, which I wasn't expecting but was a nice touch. The eggs were fresh, and the chicken was flavorful--I added a little Tapatío and it hit the spot. The atmosphere was great too: very clean, welcoming, and the staff were friendly and engaging. The only two small drawbacks for me were: * The portion size felt a little small. I would have loved maybe a couple more pieces of French toast or a slightly bigger portion overall. * There didn't seem to be table-side coffee refills. It looked like if you wanted another cup you had to go back to the counter and order again. Aside from those minor things, the overall experience was very good. I'd give it about a 9 out of 10. I'll definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu--maybe an omelet next time. If you're in Alameda and looking for a good breakfast spot with great coffee, West Cafe is definitely worth checking out.

We were sat right away, waters placed in front of us and we were asked if we want coffee right away. Within a minute we were sipping on hot coffee that was decent for dinner coffee. For our food: My partner ordered the Eggs Benedict with hash browns. She said it isn't the best she has ever had, it's a close second. They give a thick slice of Canadian back, the sauce was a tad bit salty, but overall really good. I ordered to the eggs, bacon, home potatoes, and Toast: the gave like 5 thick sliced of bacon. My eggs were cooked the way I like them. The home potatoes were so good, crispy and cooked all the way. It was exactly what I was craving. When going to get breakfast at a restaurant, I believe pancakes for the table to share is a must. So we ordered the short stack, which is 2 pancakes. These were the best pancakes I've ever had. Thick and fluffy but light and airy. They melt in your mouth. This is my new go to spot when I get that craving for a restaurant style breakfast.

It's got that timeless diner feel, but with some great new updates! * The Food: The waffles are just as delicious as I remembered. If you're craving classic, no-fuss breakfast food with huge portions and reasonable prices, this is the spot. * The Space: It looks like they've expanded! We were seated on the patio, which was super comfortable and airy. * Dog-Friendly! This was the best surprise--they actually have a dog food menu tacked right on the post! I didn't have my pups with me this time, but I'm 100% bringing them for brunch next weekend.
