It's an open concept restaurant with a really cute decoration. Everything is done a la brasa so it tastes amazing. Menu is big you have many options from chicken, steak, fish, salads, lasagna, etc I just celebrated my birthday dinner and I can thank them enough for being so accommodating. We were a group of more than 25+ people and they set up the last area for all of us so we had privacy. They help us dividing the bills with no issue and the service was top notch. I ordered the chicken Milanese and it was mostly breading. It was a thick lining of breading and hardly any chicken and to make matters worse, It was dark meat and not the typical chicken breast. UPDATE: this place has graduated to never again. It seems that there may be a possibility they aren't executing proper maintenance of their air scrubs and exhaust system; because of this, they must crank up the AC really cold and with high fan speed. It is VERY uncomfortable. All the symptoms are there, you spend one hour inside the restaurant and come out with your clothes and hair smelling as if they put you inside the kitchen. Visiting Miami before embarking for a cruise the next day we found Dando La Brasa, which is just a couple of blocks from the Tru by Hilton Hotel. My wife and I had the Caesar watercress (Berro) salad and the heart of palm with avocado, both of these were filling and delicious. We also shared the Parrillita de Cochino, a good appetizer sampler plate which we could not finish! My only regret is not having a larger appetite to try other menu selections. Once you walk into the restaurant there is an impressive metal drum rotisserie you will see when you walk into the restaurant. All the sides I have tried are excellent. The jasmine rice with choclo (Peruvian corn) has a nice hint of anise star. Another side I enjoy is the whole roast potato cooked in the drippings of the roast chicken making it extra tasty! New restaurant on the block! I gave Dando La Brasa a chance the other day when my family and I were starving and frantically searching for a comfortable place to eat. We knew this spot was new in the neighborhood so we gave it a go. Safe to say I was pleased! We had the tuna carpaccio which was very delicious at first but tends to overwhelm me in flavor after a few bites. The ceviche was delectable and the stat of the show was the Peruvian style chicken. You can choose how you want your chicken marinated but our server recommended this one and we were not disappointed. We had a side of black beans and rice which was also a nice surprise because they were not your typical black beans. I had a coconut lemonade with my meal which was the cherry on top. All staff was welcoming and attentive from the host to the server. The pollo a la brasa had a charcoal (carbon) taste to it which allows for one to eat the chicken without sauces. A 1/4 Chicken is available but may be best to get 1/2 chicken as it may not be worth the $3 up charge (white meat, is an additional $3, as of August 2023). The chicken has three options for flavor - a BBQ flavor, a Peruvian inspired flavor and a Venezuelan inspired flavor. For dipping sauces there are four they offered offered: homemade guava barbecue, homemade mojito, guasacaca & a nice chopped tomato with peppers homemade hot sauce. The skirt steak was ordered medium and came out looking delicious, but it was bland, still manageable though. Oh yea, forgot to add that we started with wings, opted for the sauce on the side which was a good call.
