Ling Island's Deadliest Burger bar none. While people were busy honoring the first day of New Year's resolutions - totally realty based here - stopped off at Dang's and had what Has to be Long Island's p deadliest burger. Don't freak out - just skip breakfast tomorrow - and lunch. !! Don't even ask if was good - it was way beyond that - horrifyingly so. We tried their popular Mac N Cheese topped burger - they also add brisket, pickled onion, melted cheddar and jalapeños. Dang's BBQ of Islip, & Hauppauge is also now here in South Nassau. Southern Smoked BBQ and Burgers are now in the former Seaford Palace on Merrick Road - just east of the Seaford -Oyster Bay Expressway. This is not some pop up - but instead a real roadhouse's vibe once inside nicely redone - though hard to tell from outside- Be prepared to pay for all this indulgent food and drink - they are very generous with portions and sauces - offering me extras to try since new to Dang's. Ok well - bookmark and get ready for Dang's.

Went back for lunch only to find a sign on the door saying new winter hours, open at 4pm. Your website still has your old hours, open at 12. If people plan to go to your establishment to eat and the incorrect hours of operation are on your website, they are inconvienced and disappointed and, as in my case, won't go back. Have some consideration for your paying customers that keep you in business.

So so so good! Absolutely outstanding food! Make sure you go here hungry! The atmosphere is super fun and the food is remarkably delicious! I've gone back several times since my first visit and DANG it's good! The waitress we have had was extremely kind and helpful. Our entire experience has been a hit and I can't wait to get back. Save room for the chocolate milkshake!!

Went here this weekend to continue the celebration for my husbands birthday. We were a a party of 6 and had a good variety of food. The portions were LARGE and the service nice and friendly. I dont usually do the doggie bag thing, but there was SOOO much we simply had to. heck, it was enough for a second meal! The menu had a good variety for both food and drinks. We will be back.

The food was amazing. Meats and lots of meats. We came here with the kids after the park it was absolutely delicious. A solid BBQ place on Long Island, and they had awesome sauces they serve and sell as well. Let's just say we had to buy their Alabama white sauce and take it home so we could re-live it again and again. The staff was friendly and super accommodating to our entire party. A definite must try! Def will be back!

We had a lovely lunch at Dang today! My sister, husband, son, and I arrived a little after 1 and it wasn't busy at all but by the time we went half the large dining room was full. They have a great lunch menu which I found to be extensive and very reasonably priced for the size and quality of the food. My husband had a Brisket burger melt, my sister had the Brisket gorgonzola wrap, and I had the buffalo chicken salad. We enjoyed all of our meals. For $13-15 you got an entree with a side and a soft drink plus chips to start too! Our waitress was great. I felt bad as she was the only one working and it ended up pretty busy so service was a little slow but very kind and efficient. She did great. Can't wait to come back!

Let's talk about Dang BBQ. Let's talk about how you're going to feel when you walk into this diner turned smoke-house... you're going to feel welcomed by friends you never met. Everyone goes above and beyond to help you feel comfortable and make you happy. Big plus. The bar area is hopping and there's something for everyone - milkshakes and brown spirits included. Let's talk about the chicken wings... you will love them. Get dry rubbed, sauces on the side. They are crispy on the outside and the meat is tender. They are party wings split into drums and flats -and a very good size. While we're talking about chicken, you're going to want the 1/2 bird... maybe some of the best chicken I've ever tasted. Every piece was juicy and delicious. The pulled chicken is also very good. Everyone is talking about how good the chicken is. Same for the turkey - characteristic turkey taste, delicious Let's talk about the apps and the sides. The giant pretzel comes with pimento and cheese sauces. The cheese sauce wasn't cooked enough to cook out the flour. But still a delicious shareable app. The burnt ends are also worth talking about. We had a few great chucks of burnt ends and a few chunks of pure fat. It's a good app. The macaroni and cheese is good too - unfortuantly your kids might not want to talk about it because it's a little heavy on the nutmeg and the aforementioned cheese sauce miss is noticable here too. Coleslaw and creamed spinach are good, some people might talk about those sides too. Let's not talk about the ribs, unfortunately. The babybacks are DRY! Maybe we got an old rack? I would not order them again. Babybacks are not forgiving on mistakes nor are they good for a smoke one day and reheat and serve on another. St. Louis ribs were not offered. And not worthy of talking about at all would be the beef plate ribs. The half rack is a horrible version of four beef ribs. I know these are mostly fat, but not even a bite of edible meat was on the top of the rib. The cartilage was hard which when cooked right should be more gelatinous. This was the biggest let-down especially given the cost of the menu item. Brisket and sausage were "ok". The sauces are all very tasty, which I prefer to keep on the side. Will I be back again? We can talk about it, if we're not doing ribs.

My first time here and I'll definitely be back. I want to say it used to be a diner years ago because the outside still looks like a diner. Plenty of parking in the rear which is a shared lot for the businesses on the same block. Plenty of seating options inside. Booths, tables, bar seating and high top seating as well. I was there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty busy so it seems like a popular place. I can see why though. They have all things BBQ. Brisket, ribs, pork, burgers, sandwiches and more. I actually had a hard time deciding which is unusual for me. Ending with burnt ends as an appetizer which was delicious. For entrees we had chicken and waffles and Dad's meatloaf. They were nice and let us substitute tender for the thighs for one of the chicken and waffle orders. That entree came with sweet potatoes fries and a honey syrup for the waffles. The waffles also had jalapeño in it so there was a nice kick to the waffles. The chicken was delicious. The thighs and tenders. The meatloaf was wrapped in bacon which is always a plus. Came with mashed potatoes and a side. I chose biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious. Our server, Dylan, was on top of it as well. Perfect evening and I'll definitely be back.

I will preface this by saying I consider K-city a 5/5 for Long Island - probably a 4/5 if K-city was in Queens tbh. If i was in the Nassau area I default to K-city vs. Kpot! I mainly go to K-city for the hotpot vs. the kbbq/hot food selection. The bbq is okay but the grill itself is pretty small. The prepared food selection is also okay, includes both hot food & sushi but I mainly consider it as food to eat while my hotpot is getting ready (lol). The broths are very legit with the variety offered being spicy (mala with the Szechuan peppercorns), mushroom, pork bone, herbal ( I believe is a mix of pork & chicken + herbs), tomato and mushroom. My favorite thus far have been the spicy & herbal! I appreciate that the meats are also included in the buffet section as well so I can control the quantity as opposed to some other hotpot/bbq places where the meats come pre-portioned. I think the main drawback of K-City as opposed to Spring Shabu (my personal 2nd favorite choice in nassau) is definitely the veggie selection & quality. Having said that, the veggie selection is okay and has the main things I get like the enoki mushrooms, napa cabbage, broccoli and noodles.

The hot buffet line was ok, and the sushi was alright. There was nothing spectacular but at the same time the food wasnt bad. I would have normally rated this probably a 3 star. Why a 2 star? Because the money items, the salmon sashimi and oysters took forever to be refilled. I had to ask the staff when they bothered to look my direction. Other buffets constantly stock their food, this one didn't. I wouldn't recommend this place.
