After being back in Minneapolis, this was our first must-stop. We were beyond excited to visit the newly reopened Dangerous Man and, of course, order our all-time favorite beer the Watermelon Sour. The new location is absolutely incredible. It has an amazing atmosphere, a welcoming vibe, and still feels like the Dangerous Man we've always loved. The space is beautiful, the staff was friendly, and everything about the experience reminded us why we've missed this place so much. And the Watermelon Sour? Still just as perfect as we remembered. Crisp, refreshing, and hands-down our favorite beer ever. We're so happy Dangerous Man is back.

Visited for the tours. Only tried thr Chocolate Milk Stout and it reminded me of a TX beer called The Temptress from Lakewood Brewing. It was good, but nothing really standing out. The taproom is big and has plenty of table seating as well as cozy sofa chair seating.

We went into the lot and all the restaurant spots were blocked off, after a call they cleared one. Started with bacon wrapped dates, which were good. My husband and I both ordered the filet medium, it came out medium well at best (very little pink). The potato puree was great!

We got to the parking garage, lots of spots left for the restaurant but there was a valet there and said all those spots are actually reserved for the valet. We ended up parking across the street near the lake. Once inside, it's a very nice vibe with beautiful furniture and lots of natural light. They have great happy hour menu - we started with the shrimp appetizer which as flavorful and the shrimp was plump and well cooked. We also got the burger and the Waterbury salad. Burger was good, but the salad was a bit basic; I was expecting more bacon and more blue cheese dressing, it was mostly just basic iceberg lettuce which is not awesome for $13. I also tried the Hugo spritz which was refreshing but a bit sweet for my taste. I will for some come back to try more things!

We ordered on the spot, and it ended up being one of the best decisions of the day. The mango sticky rice was the standout--perfectly sweet, creamy, and easily one of the best I've had. The crispy pork belly had an amazing crunch while staying tender inside, and the wings were juicy and packed with flavor. If you order either, don't skip the fish habanero sauce. It adds the perfect balance of heat, tanginess, and flavor without overpowering the food. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and it paired perfectly with a beer next door. If you're at Wandering Leaf (or anywhere nearby), do yourself a favor and order from Soul Lao. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Kitchen and cashier were extremely friendly and hospitable. Ordered - Crispy Pork Belly (4.5/5). Probably my favorite dish. It can stand on its own, was very favorable, crunchy and had a good meat to fat ratio leaving you wanting more - Duck Noodles (4/5). Flavor profile was a good balance of sweet and salty. Good but nothing memorable - OG Wings (4.5/5). Always fun to see other places try this dish. Last few years the rise of fish sauce coated wings has been a hit which is awesome since my mom's been doing it for decades. Packed a 1,2 punch. A bit salty so make sure you chase it with rice Food was by in large great and if you're expecting fusion then this is what you will find. Price is a bit steep ($25 roughly per dish) so you be checking your Apple location to figure out why you're paying NYC prices in MN ha :)

The restaurant gives modern with its has high ceilings and japanese details throughout. I'm happy the place didn't do the usual dim lighting with small lamp to see or at least counter seating was well light. We indulged in the signature beer with ice cold foam on top with much enjoyment especially since we were right by the beer foam machine. We got our separate 3 combo hand roll meals. The combo set was cute & just about filling with the beers. The miso soup was flavored the perfect amount. The handrolls were fresh with the seaweed being wrapped to stay crisp. My only thought was, can I get more fish please? We did plan to get food after this meal becsuse it didn't quite fill us up. The atmosphere, the drinks, & the set up was worth a try! Definitely a cute date night spot.
