During the call, she asked & received not only my name, birthday, home address, insurance & supplemental insurance information. She then requested credit card information prior to making an appointment. I requested to bring the credit card at my first appointment. She informed me that a credit card or access to my HSA. Was required PRIOR to setting the appointment. She said it was office and policy. I do not provide credit card information over the phone ... personal policy. IMHO, this financial office policy for new patients PRIOR to making an appointment should be weighed along with expected patient care, when selecting a dermatology practice.

I let that slide because I worked in a vet hospital and I know how stressful the environment is inside of a doctors office. However, now I go to fill my medications and the scribe didn't do their job correctly. One of the medications was never sent to the pharmacy and the other compounded medication wasn't filled out correctly because they told me they needed more clarification from the doctor. Now I'm going to have to drive BACK to the pharmacy to get that medication despite going yesterday to pick it all up. I picked up the clindamycin which was the least concerning one I needed. I also don't have off till next Tuesday so 9/10 that isn't going to be picked up until next Tuesday. Very disappointing and disorganized it seems like. The doctor was good so this review in no way effects her but the support staff behind her are abysmal.

The waiting room has a few chairs. There are minimal decorations. I noticed magazines and pamphlets are no longer available, which I'm assuming is a COVID precaution. Dr. Perry was great. He was personable. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. I didn't feel like he had to rush out to the next person. I went to Koniver Aesthetics for AviClear laser treatments. I had been suffering from acne for over a decade and I was told this would "cure it", or I would get my money back. I was also informed that it would take up to a year to see the results. After a year my skin was still terrible. At this time I was told by Koniver Aesthetics that it could NOW possibly take a year and a half. Obviously this was upsetting, but I waited. Around 18 months after the procedures my skin seemed to be worse than ever. I was livid. I reached out to their team and I was simply told there was nothing that could be done. I wanted to get on social media and write bad reviews for the establishment everywhere I could possibly find. Though, I was so depressed I didn't even have the motivation to do that. So why am I speaking out now? Well, I was wrong when I initially thought my skin was worse than ever. I spent thousands of dollars and waited 2 years to see results. My skin never improved, in fact I am pretty sure in the last couple of weeks I have reached the pinnacle of disgust with the state of my skin. I am crying as I write this and I thought maybe after spending $3000 + at this business, there might be something they would be willing to do. Also, I happened to have an interview for a position at Koniver Wellness last month and I was told that the owner was a kind person. I thought that maybe that was a sign and reaching out can't hurt. All I can ask is if there might be SOMETHING they would want to do to remedy the situation. I sent them basically the same message as I have written above and they actually did respond asking if I wanted to come in .... almost a month ago. I said I would like to. I have not heard back since. My diet has not changed. My health is good. I get every acne product that aestheticians suggests and facials from other facilities all the time. I was seen quicker than I ever have been at a doctor's office and the doctor came in almost immediately. He was efficient, nice and sure of his conclusion. It reminded me of some of the better health care facilities I've been to overseas. I 100% wish other US doctor's offices would learn some lessons from this facility.
