Would not recommend using their online pharmacy, as if the package doesn't show up, they will ask you to pay for another one, and ask you to get credited by the online pharmacy, or to wait for the initial package. It strikes me odd that they claim this is their pharmacy, but has little ways to correct issues. They stated USPS is to blame due to the snow store, but when I called USPS, the snow storm was not mentioned. Told them we will not be back and it did not seem to bother them any. The lack of care for the client only tells me I need to find a new spot.

My pup went in to have a mass removed from his mouth and came home with explosive diarrhea. Our other dogs contracted it as well. I made their clinic aware of this and they arrogantly refused to even entertain that the virus could've been contracted while he was there for surgery- As far as I am concerned, it is ignorance shrouded by their arrogance. When the diagnosis came back as cancer...instead of calling to discuss any of the findings and offer care and compassion, as well as being able to field question, they coldly sent an email. I have had our family pup for 14 years and again their egotistical ways interfered with best practices. This place is awful!

    Rosewood Pet Hospital

    Rosewood Pet Hospital

Disorganized, dishonest about pricing, & nearly cost me my international flight!…read more I used Rosewood Pet Hospital and Dr. Rachel McPheters, DVM to handle my dog's paperwork for an international move to Thailand. I paid upfront $320 as an all-inclusive fee covering vaccinations, the USDA health certificate, and all associated paperwork. I confirmed this multiple times. What followed was months of disorganization that nearly derailed my entire trip. It took four attempts over three weeks to produce a usable vaccination letter. I provided the clinic with the full requirements from the Thai Department of Livestock Development upfront. Despite that, the first document was a patient chart printout with no letterhead, no signature, no microchip number -- and the second was sent as a smudged photo, not a proper scanned document [see attached]. Each subsequent version still had missing information. They had to revise the letter twice on the same day because they kept making mistakes. These delays compressed my Thai government approval window to just a few weeks before departure. The health exam was poorly coordinated. We scheduled the USDA exam about eight days before my flight -- tight, since the certificate is only valid for 10 days. On exam day, the staff member handling my case wasn't there. I waited 45 minutes for her to arrive. The USDA application still wasn't submitted until 3:00 PM the next day. Then came the surprise charges. After paying $320 for what was represented as all-inclusive, I was told at the final stage I owed an additional $130 for USDA processing and expedited shipping. They claimed there was "no way to know" these fees until submission -- these are standard, published fees. After 30 minutes of pushback, they waived half the processing fee but held firm on shipping. Then they selected UPS 2nd-day air instead of Next-day air, eliminating any reliable on-time delivery. I even tried promoting the shipping to Next-day air, but Rosewood was unreachable, and only they could promote the shipping label since they ordered it. The result was a near-disaster. Because my dog's transport required no more than two flight legs, I had to rent a car and drive from central Illinois to Chicago to catch my flight. The USDA certificate arrived just minutes before I had to leave -- I had to coordinate directly with UPS to intercept the delivery because the timeline was that razor-thin. I had to drive to UPS package hubs directly for "package interception" which is not a service they offer! The stress made me physically ill the morning of departure with a sore throat and cough that followed me through the entire trip to Thailand. None of this should have been my problem to solve. For context, the Thai Department of Livestock Development -- a foreign government agency -- was easier and more responsive to work with than this clinic. I would not trust Rosewood Pet Hospital with any time-sensitive or international paperwork. The experience was disorganized from start to finish, the pricing was misrepresented, and there was zero accountability of wrongdoing from these "professionals."

This review is for the Shot Clinic only, as I did not go into the store…read more Four Muddy Paws hosted a shot clinic sponsored by Partners For Pets. The prices were phenomenal!!! My baby rec'd 3 shots for $27. We arrived first thing in the morning, since the clinic was from 9am-12pm on May 2nd. Four Muddy Paws is housed in a strip mall with plenty of parking and there was a bank next door that looked to be closed on Saturday so that accommodated for additional parking. The clinic was held outside in the grassy area, they had a table set up, so it was first come, first serve. The paperwork was simple and they accepted cash or card payments. The wait time wasn't bad, it took us an hour from start to finish and the staff was really nice and loving to the babies and were ready for all types...meaning if your fur-baby was scared or frightened. We rec'd a free cookie from Treats Unleashed for the fur-babies and a $5 gift card. Added a new rescue dog to my pack, so I needed a couple of things to welcome her…read more First thing I needed was a tag for her collar. I love the machine that they have in house for making tags. You select the one you want, an associate programs the machine and loads your new tag. Then you take over the keyboard by selecting how many lines you want. The next step is typing what you want on the tag and selecting a font. Final step is proofing and hitting the engrave button. When it's done engraving, you've got a fashionable tag for your new family member. The other item I needed was a coupler. I needed it for the seatbelt restraint. Instead of securing one dog, I now needed to make sure two dogs were safe while riding shotgun. Of course, we couldn't leave without getting matching bandanas for both dogs and a couple of fresh baked cookies. When: January 28, 2026 Why: Shopping with new dog after seeing new vet.
