    Tres leches and capuchino!
    Steve R.

Post happy hour cuppa and desserts! A cappuccino and tres leches are among several coffees, desserts, great Italian wines and certain mixed drinks by request. Not to mention an ample range of Sardinian lunch and dinner favs. The service is good and the vibe is always anticipatory and warm. Note: I feel that Daniel's has the best Italian dinner desserts around--all fresh made!

Incredible array of delicious gluten free options! Homemade pasta, including ravioli. We chose the one--yes, several different gf ravioli options!--with seafood. And gf tiramisu--two different flavors!

Even more delicious after telling the waiter to add a little less salt!!! A fantastic lunch. Will come to this cozy place again.

Great food and service. The ambiance is unmatched and unique. Authentic Italian cuisine from Sardegna. We had the Lasagna Alla Bolognese, salad verde, spaghetti, involtini de melanzana, and tres leches.

Great location and a very lovely place to dine. Lots of outdoor seating in a very comfortable environment. They have traditional Sardinian cuisine as well as traditional Italian classic dishes. Daniela, makes just about everything here from scratch! Very impressive. This is a family run business. They have a lot a passion behind the service and food. I wanted to try something very authentic. The server suggested the Fregula Con Cocciulas. It consists of couscous sized pasta, saffron, slowly cooked with clams, garlic, Italian parsley, and sun-dried tomatoes. It was very good. Nice sized portion. I had a very nice experience. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

We had a divine meal here last night. We started with the mussels, which were served with a light smattering of tomato and garlic. They were excellent. We also shared a plate of pacheri al fungi, which was so good we licked the plate. The pasta is like giant, flat rigatoni, and the sauce was a super mushroomy cream sauce. The lasagna bolognese was also amazing. There's literally not a bad thing I could say about this meal.

    Gluten free gnocchi

Yum! I returned to Daniela for lunch this past week and was really happy with my experience. It was far less crowded for lunch and the service was excellent. I got the gluten free gnocchi and absolutely loved it. It was super filling and the sauce was just exceptional. They were even nice enough to make me a little piece of gluten free focaccia. It was even better than the sourdough-esque GF bread they gave me last time. I wish I wouldn't have eaten the bread so fast so I could've scooped up all the leftover sauce with it. Maybe next time ;) Everytime I come here, I'm always impressed with the number of gluten free options. As a pasta lover who has only just recently had to give up gluten, I can't personally tell the difference because the flavor and texture is just so spot on. I love that they have so many options I can still enjoy that aren't just your boring spaghetti or penne (GF seafood ravioli?? C'mon!) This might be my new favorite lunch spot whenever I feel like treating myself!

Loved this restaurant! Located in Hampden and known for their traditional Sardinian cuisine. The ambiance was very nice, especially as someone who doesn't usually like sitting outside in a restaurant. There were heaters, lights, and plants, making it a great location to sit at. I was also a huge fan of the food options, which were very broad and delicious. As someone that doesn't eat beef, there were two separate vegetarian lasagna options. I had the mushroom one (the lasagna verde al funghi), which was perfectly cheesy and savory. My friend ate the fregula con cocciulas, which featured a small couscous-like pasta shape slow cooked with clams. The drink menu was also quite long, featuring many authentic Italian wines. The service was very quick and kind, and the servers quickly turned on the heaters in the outdoor seating space when it was cold. Left super satisfied and will definitely be returning!

Great service and delicious food at this gem of a restaurant in Hampden. The restaurant feels homey and comfortable right off the bat. When it's warmer, they have ample outdoor seating as well. I took the advice of other helpers and ordered the gnocchi and the serving was huge! The gnocchi was soft and filling. The sauce was savory and someway nutty. The complimentary bread was served with delicious olive oil. I got the strawberry tiramisu which was a unique take on the dessert with classic tiramisu with fresh strawberries in between.

I asked for it extra dirty and I could barely taste the olive brine, I actually had to have him pour more in front of me lol. Also service was a little slow. My friends suggested that we dine here for restaurant week which was a sweet idea. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly hostess who took us to our seats. Then our waiter explained the menu and gave us some time to decided what menu we wanted to order from (Restaurant week brunch menu or regular menu). We chose the brunch menu. For the brunch menu we were able to choose a appetizer, entree, and a dessert for $35.00. Not too bad. For drinks I ordered PIRATE PRINCESS which was Ron del Barrilito 2 Star Puerto Rican rum, passionfruit, miso honey, lime, and togarash. It was a perfect balance of sweetness and a little bitterness. For food we ordered the shrimp and corn patties, and the pan roasted salmon. The shrimp and corn patties were delicious. It was packed with multiple flavors and it was seasoned really well. The pan roasted salmon was cooked to perfection. It was flaky, and seasoned very well. It came with Ramen noodles that I thought were going to be temperature hot however, they came room temperature which was fine. They were seasoned very well. The ambiance was very nice. It gave like 1950's/ 1970's vibe. Old marble tables, antique pictures on the walls. It seemed like the building use to be a house prior to it becoming a restaurant. It was a great time. If you are in the Hampden area I recommend giving this restaurant a try. I am looking forward to visiting again for dinner. Cheers!!

We ordered drinks, they later said they were out of the non-alcoholic sangria, but we got another drink. The drinks were ok, there was an interesting taste to the lemon drop martini that I couldn't put my finger on. We had to flag the waiter for several things (napkins, plates, forks). He was nice but overwhelmed being the only person for all the tables. The Thai chili wings were amazing but there weren't many wings for $13. We both ordered the catfish meal. The catfish was delish, the greens were ok (needed more salt & vinegar but hot sauce helped). The yams were really good. The macaroni and cheese was not good at all. It had no flavor and no cream/roux. It was literally just melted cheese and noodles. The jazz night was just a solo sax player (she played a few great songs) but I was expecting maybe 2 or more musicians. I will not be returning.
