I came in here to repair and resize my ring. As I walked in, an employee approached me immediately and said "what do you want?" I told her I needed a repair service. She said "Ok, you're going to have to leave it." I told her I wanted to talk to the jeweler to explain what I want done and get a cost estimate. She took a picture of the ring, sent it to the jeweler and repeated that I have to leave the ring. I told her I wanted to talk to the jeweler, which annoyed her. She got him on the phone, didn't let me talk to him, told me that he'll be in at 11am tomorrow, and said she didn't know how long he would be in and that if I can't be there at 11am, then I just need to leave the ring. I told her I didn't want to just "leave the ring," I wanted to actually talk to someone and explain what I wanted done. She said they can't help me and told me to go somewhere else. What's the point of that? I'm looking for a service, the people here didn't even bother properly asking me what I need done. I'm not just going to leave my jewelry for no reason. I would have been happy to pay, even a big sum to fix my ring, it's a family heirloom, but now just forget it. read more

This place does not tell you that whatever amount they approve you for will be your maximum amount. Which is the opposite of what you want to do to build your credit. For example: If you buy a necklace of $500 and they approve you. Please pay down to a maximum of 30% NOTHING more or else your credit score will suffer because it will consider your maxing out your total credit. THIS IS REALLY BAD! DO NOT DO THIS! Your maximum used should only be 40% of the $500. Which is $150. Don't spend more than 30%. Hope this helps. DO NOT GO TO DANIELS JEWELERS!! read more

We got the run-a-round from them when we first bought our rings, had to go back quite a few times for resizing. And found out they don't even do it on site. They have to send out. Edit: Many allergies associated with jewelry are due to nickel, but it is not usual for platinum to have nickel in it, unless it is a cheap platinum alloy. We'll see if we're allergic to nickel. We got our babies ears pierced here 3 weeks ago, everything came out great and centered. BUT afterwards I spotted in pictures that the lady who did the piercing did not use gloves! Ugh horrible mommy moment on my part for not noticing at the time but my focus was mainly making sure my baby didn't freak out. I wish I would have caught it in the moment. I am not pleased. People in this location take advantage. I came in looking for a Valentine's gift for my mom and knowing that I could speak their language, the salespeople started to persuade me to buy a more expensive product, with two of them sharing knowing looks which made me uncomfortable. Upselling is fine and understandable but to charge an individual for diamond protection and tell the same individual that the company won't accept my purchase unless I had it was not acceptable (even when I told the ladies I didn't want it, they had already charged me and insisted it was necessary). I work for a dealership so I know how salesmen/women can be a bit pushy, you just have to ignore it...their job is to sell and sell you the highest price item, that's how they get paid. Anyways, the people who've worked with me in the past have always been friendly and knowledgeable. They never gave me a run around and always gave a full explanation of each charge for something I purchased. Love it! My fiance and I just came to the mall just for a casual day out. When we walked by here Alexandra was outside advertising some free earrings if you apply for a credit line with them. So we decided why not? And we got approved!!! I can tell you right now that's been kind of hard because we don't really have credit seeing as we haven't started our credit line anywhere. Terrible experience! Went and brought a bracelet for Christmas I purchased it dec 18th and of course gave it to the person on the 25th and to our surprise, it was broken!!!! I am a faithful customer at Daniels Jewelers. I get discounts and free gifts through the mail because of it. I have bought a lot of stuff from them. So last week I got a letter in the mail saying that I am such a good customer and that I should come in to the Daniels in the Glendale Galleria and I would get a free gift. I was psyched of course! So I went and the owner of the whole Daniels franchise was the one who helped me. I gave her my letter and asked for my free gift. She gave me a dirty look and was very rude to me and my sister. I can see that others have had a different experience and i find it unfortunate, especially when i read people complain about a sales person trying to sale. Stay away from this location. Unknowledgeable staff and ridiculous prices. Totally different prices than the website. Went in to find a simple 26" 2.5mm rope chain. Lady showed us a 2mm (maybe 2mm, they had no idea) which was maybe 22" or 24", they didn't know length which had a price tag of over 3k on it but they said it was on sale!!! O wow, told us the "sale" price and it was $2,130. Hahahaha For reference, a 2mm 22" from a reputable website such as Jacoje is around $475. We asked to see a 26" 2.5mm. She took a while and took out a 24" adjustable and I asked mm and she said she thinks 2.5mm and I could tell it was smaller than that because I own a 2.2mm rope chain. She tried scanning tag and computer wouldn't even tell her. I asked if they had a caliper. She said no but the way she paused when responding sounded like she had no idea what a caliper was. We left feeling bewildered that we knew more about jewelry than the people working in a jewelry store. This store is preying on the stupid and uninformed while being run by the stupid and uninformed! But it is a store in a mall after all. Hire people who actually have knowledge in jewelry!!!! This store is a joke, I will never step foot in a Daniel's jewelers again.
