Whoever was working the front counter on February 13th around 5pm made me feel extremely uncomfortable. When my friend and I walked into the store, we were not greeted, asked if we needed help, or even offered a bag. Meanwhile, other customers who entered after us were immediately welcomed and assisted. As we continued browsing, one of the employees stayed very close to us, appearing to restock, but never once acknowledged us. Very bad customer service. Bought 4 products from Lovisa and happened to looked over the receipt when I went home. Turns out 3 of the 4 products was overcharged (around $3-5 dollars more per product). When I went to the store (Sunday), the person working there could not do anything because she did not make the transaction directly. Then I asked if I could talk to or if she could call the manager to which the person working there said,"no, the manager is off. Like off off on Sunday." Then she said that both manager and the person who made the transaction will be at the store on Tuesday. This experience is just disappointing and a bunch of bullshit. read more

Lovisa specializes in affordable fashion jewelry. The jewelry is designed with the younger woman in mind, so it's much more mature and less cutesy than Claire's. The jewelry doesn't look well made but it is affordable. Earrings that were $7.99 regular price were on sale in the 3 for $12 section. Finding earrings for under $5 isn't easy. The store carries mostly gold tone earrings, but one can also find necklaces, bracelets, charms, and hair accessories. The items are roughly organized by color. The sterling silver earrings were very basic hoops and studs. I didn't see anything I liked because the designs were so basic and boring. I think the fashion jewelry at Target looks better. It looks like tassels must be on trend right now. You can find tassel jewelry at Target and H&M too, but Lovisa has a larger selection. read more

Depending on the day you may find a good sale. They currently have a lot of merchandise marked 3 for 8$ (you can pick 3 items with that sticker for a total of 8$ + tax). Store was neatly organized- I'm shocked as people really do not put stuff back as they should. The workers were working hard organizing everything and ensuring pieces were properly displayed. As well as ensuring the stores overall appearance as clean. Some items are priced just right while others may be over what they should be but I've never left disappointed here.They carry a bunch of variety in terms of styles. The store reminds me of a Claire's remodel for adults. The workers are always friendly and do regularly ask how you're doing/if you need assistance. Found a pair of earrings that I loved which were priced at $11.99. I then looked up to see a sign that said "3 for $12" so I basically got two more items for free! Very pleased and I have never seen such beautiful jewellery for such a low price. Im torn on this review. I was overcharged!!! Would give lower stars had it not been for piercing service- which alone deserves 5 stars. This store carries a wide variety of merchandise. My daughter had her ears pierced there which I'm very satisfied with. The merchandise makes you fantasize wearing their stuff-if only I had the money! They have really nice stuff. My issue is that I spent almost $60, & not until I arrived home I realized that I was over charged. The new girl at the cashier was asking me what price things were & charged me regular price for things that were on sale. The same lady wanted to charge me more for stuff in the $19.99 column. I told her "no your chart says $19.99". She told me no & told me to go get the chart by the cashier's table (now-we were by the front of the store where the piercings take place. She was looking in a drawer for the studs i picked out for the piercing. Anyway I brought the chart & she realized she was wrong- but only after she still insisted that the studs were more. I had to point out her misreading the chart Anyway I called the next day only for the same girl to answer & no manager was present- so I received no assistance- till this day- nothing! I lost money & I dont live around the corner just to waist gas to get a refund. Check your receipts before you walk out from the store. I wish I had read the review about their ear piercing before I had mine done here last year. I had no problem with the first ear, but when she was doing the second ear, the gun got stuck. She was finally able to get it to release. I thought all was well after that. It was only after I got home that I was able to see the pen mark on my ear which meant that she'd missed the mark. The worst part was that I ended up having to remove the stud a week later because it felt like a scab or lump was developing under the clasp. Turned out the clasp had gotten on too tightly to the stud when the gun got stuck, and that caused complications. I had to wait a while to get that ear pierced again. read more

Do not buy nose rings here!! I purchased some nose rings and yes I should have asked about the metal but within a week my nose got so infected and when I took it out the hole in my nose was black from cheap metal. Plus the metal on the nose ring started flaking off. This place has cheap jewelry and the customer service isn't any better. Cashier was on her phone the entire time even while she was ringing me up! Make sure you check the price from the counter before buying else you will not able to return them even if you buy it just 1 sec before. The sell prices will not show in the counter. This happened to me. The counter representative is extremely bad behavior. May be they get them from road side. They must get big cut so they will not take it back. This review is just for getting pierced, I wanted to get my 3rd lobe piercing done so I went here cause I heard it was pretty affordable, it was! However the person who pierced me seemed really nervous and shakey with the gun. The first ear went well but the second one was honestly worrisome. It seems the gun got stuck in the middle of getting pierced so when he tried to move away, he could not. It was a super clanky metal gun that honestly sounded like it needed oil. I would recommend for the price but I am not sure about the type of piercing gun they used and the staff who attended me seemed really nervous about the whole thing which didnt help! Thus it took longer for the 2nd 3rd lobe piercing to heal. I wouldn't recommend it in all honesty. ESPECIALLY for cartilage piercings if they are using that clanky gun in addition to the place being non sterile, AND for cartilage piercings you should go to a legit piercing shop where they could pierce you with needles and in a sterilized room. In the end it worked out, thankfully, but I wouldnt go back to do it again. I would rate it 2 stars only because he did TRY but you know as far as professionalism and being hygienic it doesnt get a whole lot of points. Try updating that clanky piercing gun, it is honestly terrible! read more
