Not only did Steve do a great job on the bracelet, which was a little complicated due to how the links are made, and had it ready when promised, but he also cleaned and polished it to my surprise, which I did not expect at all. The outcome - the piece looks fresh and brand new! They went above and beyond, and I appreciate it. This jewelry store felt less than sparkling. I think there's an address issue. I saw a site devoted to Silver Jewelry at this address. But the merchandise wasn't primarily silver and the photos didn't match the inside of the store. The store is relatively small and what's on display is fairly limited. As I said, I had expected mostly silver jewelry and found a fair amount of gold and a fairly limited amount of silver. Stepani wasn't exactly helpful. And when I pulled my phone out to take a picture, I thought she said it was OK to take pictures, but she apparently said the opposite. My mistake. Steve, the owner, was absolutely amazing to deal with! My wife purchased a handmade silver bracelet from Malta in 2022. The bracelet contained a lot of intricate filigree and quickly became her favorite, so she wore it often. Unfortunately, one end of the bracelet began to break. I was able to track down the original jeweler in Malta to see if they could repair it, but they indicated they no longer had the necessary mold or pieces. We contacted Silver Jewelry on Yelp and provided several photos of the bracelet. After getting an estimate, we took the bracelet in for repair. We met with Steve, the owner, who was extremely professional and treated us with respect. Steve gave us a few different creative repair options and took the time to explain what was involved for each option. We decided on an option and a few days later, he told us the bracelet was ready. Looking at the bracelet, it looked brand new and it was almost impossible to tell where the repair had been completed. My wife was extremely happy with the outcome. Had a bit of a ring emergency (I lost a very special vintage ring and my partner found another one and needed my size) so I called to see if it was at all possible to just get a sizing. I apologized for the request and he told me he could do it. I drove all the way over and when I arrived I was told it was $10.00. Didn't tell me over the phone. He waited until I drove all the way over. A ring sizing takes 30-45 seconds. Such a disrespectful move on his part. My partner and I are going to be needing rings in the near future and we would never consider this place as a result of that disrespectful nickel-and-dime move. read more

I went here to have the ring I bought from Tiffany's hand engraved because the saleswoman at Tiffany's said I had to ship the ring back to their service center to be hand engraved and I was not going to mail it and wait weeks. So I looked on yelp and found Silver Jewelry and it had the best reviews. The owner was so nice when I went in with the ring. It was a fair price to have it hand engraved and only took a couple of days and looked perfect. My son was with me when I dropped the ring off and wanted a silver chain necklace and the owner was very patient with him showing him different lengths and thicknesses. I ended up buying a chain necklace from him too. And when he called to tell me the ring was ready it was on a Saturday and I thought they closed at 7. I called to tell him I was on my way but wouldn't get there til ten after 6. They closed at 6. He said he would wait for me. I was so grateful because I was on my way to meet up with my fiancé that day to give him the ring. It meant so much that I was able to pick it up and the owner waited for me. What a wonderful find! Steve helped me with a real pain last minute present - my nephew wanted to give his wife an engraved ring as a last minute gift for their 10th anniversary. He informed me the night before their anniversary, so it was a true last minute scramble! I didn't know the proper size, and Steve assured me that the ring, if it didn't fit perfectly, could be re-sized easily the next day. He gave the problem all of his attention and did the engraving that day. This was done in secrecy and so my nephew's wife wouldn't know what was going on, I asked him to repair some antique pendant medals I had. In everything he did, Steve took care, discussed all the particulars of what needed to be done, and what a FANTASTIC job he did. I've had other jewelers repair things and had been very disappointed by the globs of solder and the inattention to detail - Steve would get 10 gold stars for the repair of the medals alone if I could give them to him. My friend was on a search. A mission, if you will. And she was quite particular about the object of her attention: a chain. Not just any chain. THE chain. The perfect one that would mesh so flawlessly with a pendant that she handmade for her boyfriend for their fifth year anniversary. It was kind of a big deal. I thought to myself, "I better forget having an early lunch because this search is going to take FOREVER." My stomach grumbled with disapproval. I shushed it as we headed to Glendale towards the Jewelry Mart. And, of course, all the booths just didn't have what she was looking for. But one very nice vendor there suggested us to Steve at Silver Jewelry just a short walk away. Literally, twenty steps out of the Jewelry Mart, heading north on Brand. Boom. We were there. On the outside, Silver Jewelry isn't spectacular. We gazed at the display at the window and it wasn't very impressive. We were actually hesitant to even go inside, but my stomach ushered us inside. You know, just to make sure. Wow, I'm so glad that we did go inside because Steve had EXACTLY what she was looking for. Not even just one particular chain. He had different varieties and sizes so she didn't even feel like she had to settle for a certain style. Which also meant that I would get to eat very soon. Steve was super helpful to her. Making sure that the chain was the right length and offering to resize it if it wasn't right. Another customer entered the store at this point, and he didn't rush my friend's transaction and he gave both parties the right amount of attention. It was really professional of him. He put the chain in a cute little gift box and rang her up. My friend was willing to drop a substantial amount of money for this high-quality item. The chain was right within her price range. Even though I wasn't the actual customer, I did browse around quite a bit. They have a wide selection of jewelry and I'm sure that anyone who goes here will find exactly what they're looking for.
