My sister and I visited the store to purchase matching crosses. When we walked in, we were neither greeted nor offered assistance. While one associate was helping another customer, which we completely understand another staff member was present but completely ignored us. We spent several minutes browsing, still without any acknowledgment. After about five minutes, the first associate finished assisting the other customer and finally approached us, but did so with a noticeable attitude. I took my ring to get sized, great price. I got it back.......and I am beyond upset. It's still tight, there's a dent mark on it, and the one thing that sent me over the edge......they painted the diamonds black. This is a band with black diamonds on the side and regular diamonds in the middle. The black diamonds have black paint on them and even the side of the band has black paint on it! I'm really upset....this is a ring my mom gave me and it means a lot, now it's ruined. I will never take my business here again. read more

I should have known better, and this is embarrassing to share, but you live and learn.... I've been a customer with Daniels for over a decade and never had any problems until recently. A few months ago, I purchased an item from a Daniels that wasn't in my home town (the store I've bought all my items from). At the Daniels I made my recent purchase from, my credit was increased, which brings me to lesson #1. 1. When your credit is increased, make sure to ask if it's still with your Daniels card, or the bank their associated with. I wasn't informed that they were opening a new bank account for me. When my first payment was due, I went in person to the Moreno Valley Daniels, made my payment, got my receipt, everything was cool... OR SO I THOUGHT!! When I got my next statement it said it was past due and I had a late fee, which made my bill more then the item I purchased. I thought "this can't be right, I made the payment, I have my receipt." After several phones call to two stores and the bank, I figured everything out, and things are being fixed, but it leads to lesson #2. 2. The only Daniels store that can see your account is your "Home Store," the store where you open your account (in my case the store that open the new bank account). According to the Moreno Valley Manager, Daniels employees from other stores can't see your account, unless they call your home store and ask for it. This raises some concerns... A. If you make a payment in any other store, they can't see your account, so if you forgot your min payment and think it's $80, but it's really $100, they can't confirm; so they will take the $80, and on your next statement you'll be past due and have late charges. B. Because they can't see your account, they don't know if your payment is meant for your Daniels card, or for your new bank card/account. If they had access to your account and saw your Daniels account was $0 balance that should raise a red flag that your payment is most likely for the bank, at that point they should tell you, so you can make the correct payment on the correct account. B is what happen to me, I was unaware of the new bank account, and made a payment on my Daniels card, giving myself X amount of credit. Embarrassing, stupid, I know, but like I said you live and learn. I think employees in all Daniels stores not having access to your account for payment purposes is a flaw in the Daniels payment system. When making a payment in person, if you forget which account it's for, or make a mistake, you can be handing over money meant for something else, money WILL be taken, and you're screwed. I do want to thank the bank Daniels is associated with and the manager at the store where I made my purchased for being understanding and helpful in fixing the problem. For the manager at the Moreno Valley store, you were extremely rude to me. You were very defensive and talking AT me, instead of to me. Never once, did I raise my voice, or have attitude with you, but unfortunately you can't say the same to me. I was simply trying to understand what happen, so I could fix the problem. When I offered suggestions so that what happen to me doesn't happen to others you shot them down before I could finish my sentence. I've worked in retail my most of life, and customer service is priority, after speaking with you today, I can see it's not a priority to you. read more

Came here today to get two watches resized. Service was quick and easy. HOWEVER, I asked the sales lady if she could replace the battery on my Marc Jacobs Watch which was one of the watches getting resized. She said she could, and began the service. I was waiting on the other side of the counter. About 5 minutes later she had mentioned that she tried to open the back casing but wasn't successful and directed me to another place. I decided to try the store another day since I had somewhere else to head to. When I got home, I tried on my watch and noticed something. SHE DAMAGED THE WATCH. The back casing has obvious scratches where she tried to open the casing. I love this Watch dearly and have NEVED taken it to a shop before. First time I do and it's damaged. You can't see it when I have it on but that's my property that I trusted daniels with and it's damaged. I debated whether to call back or not, but for what? I asked him how much the interest was and he said I don't know... but it's a lot how do you not know how much your interest rate is??? will not be going here and I will be telling everyone I can about how awful the service was here.
