Daniel and Gilbert did a fantastic job in my master bathroom, removing the rotted subfloor and changing the location of the toilet and shower.

Bath Fitter of Sacramento: Installer Tim Klein…read moreTim arrived early on a Saturday, alone and ready to tackle our new master shower. Tim was beyond professional, highly knowledgeable and is by far the cleanest, most organized tradesman I've ever met. He had to demo our existing shower to the studs and subfloor. He was fully prepared for it and finished up ahead of schedule even though he was tackling the install alone. He went over a million details with us as he went, keeping us informed. Tim made very sure where we wanted the "grab bars" and made sure he sunk them into the wall studs with all proper care to avoid leaks/future water damage. Bath Fitter of Sacramento services Calaveras County and they are the only ones we found that will. I'm calling them for our next project, and I'll be asking for Tim Klein by name.

The reason this is helpful is the inspectors make sure it's done according to building code, otherwise they may not install properly. We started install on Tuesday with Stephen. Demo was fast, tub, tile removed in a couple hours. The new drain installed and shower head pipe moved up to proper location. Then I noticed the blocking wasn't behind the pipe as required, instead the guy put copper pipe behind the water line as a spacer and barely screwed in the pipe to blocking 6" below the shower head. On Wednesday when he came back, it took a lot of convincing until he fixed the shower head blocking and moved it thankfully to where it should be. Then they install what looks like 3/8" paperbacked green board. The cheapest stuff possible with gaps between boards 1/4-3/4" definitely not industry standard, especially given our back wall is a fire wall separating the bathroom to the garage. Then I stepped on the shower pan and it flexed so much it splashed water out. So much for a sturdy install. I called and complained, but Tobias did much convincing to tell me this was all ok after looking at these photos. Then Friday inspector comes and looks at the walls and goes, "oh wow what's being installed?" Then I showed him the acrylic panel, he agrees then the wall should be sealed. He said he would write it up, and left. Inspectors are hard to get to stay more than 5 min. Not sure, but I don't think they passed that inspection. Then this morning, now 4 days after they started the install, I just realize they didn't install blocking for the grab bars. I'm hoping all of these bad install issues will be resolved and putting this review up to hope to give them some motivation. To be continued....

I contacted Alex on Friday 3/27 and he stated there was no warranty in effect, which I knew was likely. However, he said he would take care of us. He came out this morning, Monday 3/30, and repaired the bubble area, and even a blemish we caused. He did not charge us anything for the repair, even though he spent quite a bit of time on it. It is a rarity in this day and age when a service provider far exceeds your expectations. Most companies are looking for any reason to tell you it is not their problem. Not ReNew Refinishing. They take care of their customers even when it is not their responsibility. An amazing company!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had a 40 year old sink, very deep sink, in a laundry room that was in need of refinishing, not to mention a new faucet. The sink was a drop in sink in a tiled countertop. Serge arrived this morning, on time, and was very friendly and professional. I had attempted to turn off the angle stops, but the hot water valve seemed frozen. The handle wouldn't easily turn and I was afraid to put too much pressure on it for fear of creating and even bigger problem. So, I turned the water off, in order to remove the supply hoses to the faucet and remove the faucet. In discussing this with Serge, he stated that sometimes applying a little force will break the 'seal' and allow the valve to be closed. At that point, I felt I was probably going to have to call a plumber to replace the valve, so I had nothing to lose. He broke it free and the valve seated properly with no leaking. In my view, Serge saved me a tremendous amount of hassle, not to mention a lot of money. Now, as to the refinishing job done on our sink this picture says it all! The variations of 'color' in the picture are due to lighting and shadows resulting from the lighting. The sink is totally bright white! He did a fabulous job and we are extremely pleased with the result! ReNew's price was quite a bit lower than the other quote I received. I can, without reservation, highly recommend ReNew for any refinishing needs you might have. First class service! Deep laundry room sink

You make an appointement at Lowes, then they send your info to Miracle Method. They tell you Miracle Method will call you within 2 days. I went into Lowe's on 3/12 at 10 am. By 3/19 (1 week) I still had not been called. So I called Miracle Method. I was told that my info had been sent to the wrong location, she had to transfer my data and someone would call me. One week later I received a call. Total so far, 2 weeks. I scheduled an appointment at my house for 4/7. Ernie Franco was my estimator. He arrived on time, in fact a few minutes early. During this appointment, he was very professional and took very detailed measurements. This was a Tuesday, and he said I would have the quote by Friday. Well that did not happen. A week and a half later (4/17), I called Ernie looking for my quote. He did not answer so I left a message and also sent an email. Still nothing. On April 23 (another week) I called and again he did not answer. So this time, as it had now been over a month since I started this process, I left a message saying that I guess you did not want my business as you have never resonded back to me. Wow shocker, this time he called back. This was a Thursday. He said that he was sorry that his manager had gotten a concussion and she was not able to produce any quotes. Sorry, but you only have 1 person that can write a quote and for over 2 weeks she was not able to do that? He said that he would write the quote himself and send it to me by Monday 4/27. Well this is now 5/9 (almost 2 more weeks) and still no quote. I did stay in contact with my Lowe's rep (she was awesome) and kept her in the loop as to what was happening. She said she would notify her managers as Miracel Method was a new company Lowe's starting working with and obviously this was not the customer service that they were looking for as well. So basically 2 months from starting, I still have no quote.

We had Aleksei Alaev do the construction and installation work and he was just the best. Handled everything really well, and his work is top shelf. Clean lines everywhere, nothing rushed or half-done. Highly recommend anyone thinking of a bathroom remodel - call Rose! Edited to add photograph and also add that we did the painting ourselves, after Rose's team were done. So any imperfections in the paint are on us! LOL PS: We call this room the Bath Cave because it was built into one part of a framed in porch on our very old (1890) house. Instead of being welcomed, we were completely ignored. 3 volunteers stood together laughing, talking loudly, and watching a YouTube video on a phone while clearly noticing us and other visitors. No greeting nor acknowledgment--just uncomfortable looks as if we were bothering them when they're the ones who chose to volunteer. Ironic? When we tried to look at the cats, the behavior continued. One volunteer deliberately blocked our view, and there was zero effort to engage or provide information. We watched other potential adopters walk away as well. I hope PetSmart will reconsider which organization hosts their adoptions, because this was such a bad look for PetSmart and Fat Kitty City Humane Society. The store employees were genuinely kind and helpful, and when I raised the issue, a PetSmart associate even suggested looking into Front Street Shelter or Bradshaw Shelter instead, mentioning that she has heard similar complaints from other customers about these same volunteers. Unfortunately, these 3 volunteers are just tarnishing Fat Kitty City's purpose and goals.

I brought my dog here because he stopped eating due to constant vomiting out of nowhere…read more He is with banfield and his vet asked us where to go and i guess i picked this location because a friend had said they had a good experience (for completely different reasons; putting her dog down not get care). We were seen by a doctor, and basically said he needed to run more tests, my dog already got bloodwork / Xray / Parvo test and a pancreatitis test some done at VCA and some with banfield(which cost me approximately 1500 already). I was then told he needed to be hospitalized for 48 hours which cost upwards of 5k!! I'm pretty sure that's the charge for monitoring, medications for 2 days and IV. They charge for the hospital stay, they charge for the doctor's time and a bunch of other stuff that should be included in the "hospital stay" but they literally charge you more on top of that. I was hard pressed but what is a dog dad to do? I paid it. But before that as the vet was giving me my options, I told him the quote of 4500 was way too much and it's not like people have thousands lying around, he said humane euthanasia. it bothered me but it didn't bother me as much as recently because now my dog is doing much better. I refused the ultra sound and other stuff they wanted to do. All they did was give him Zofran and IV and tried to feed him food.. after 2 days of IV my dog was better. I took him back to banfield and I agreed to giving him panoquel shots for his pancreatitis as he has not ate for 3 weeks and vomited everyday at this point and if he did not improve, I was going to put him down. He started to eat after the 1st shot (300 dollars - 3 sets for 900). I came back for second shot. He kept improving so I did the 3rd shot. Hospitalization was Aug 23, today is Sept 19. My dog is thriving and he is gaining his weight back. I've put him on a better diet since. My banfield vet said that it was most likely a severe pancreatitis episode. So all the tests, getting told humane euthanasia, all the hospitalization, spending about 5k at insight for not even a surgery, just IV, Zofran and "48 hour stay" which i could only afford a 36 hour stay, and it was just pancreatitis... ALL THESE TESTS AND WANTED MORE TESTS. How much tests do you need??? It seemed to me they wanted to run every test possible and not much diagnosing. The vet techs are nice but I have some serious concerns for other pet owners. GET pet insurance or just don't have pets at all. This was a nightmare of an experience for me, and I can't imagine going back here or recommending this place.
