I received good service when I brought my car in for an oil change. I had called first and was told by Hector that they were busier than usual but could take my car in an hour. I expected a bit of a wait and found the waiting area to be comfortable and the restroom to be clean. Best of all, Hector was pleasant and charged me the price printed on the coupon I had brought with me. I'm happy and will bring my car back for its next oil change. read more

I have been going to Daniel's Tires for over a year and every time I go they are friendly and knowledgeable. I had a tire emergency this morning, 10/15/16, and when I arrived there were several cars there. The Tech Advisor was courteous and advised me that there were a couple of cars ahead of mine, meaning it may take a while. I was in and out of Daniel's within 45 minutes. I LOVE this place. I visited this establishment because my car was in dire need of an oil change. While I was there I also requested the tires to be rotated. I was told it would be about an hour wait but the whole ordeal only took about 45 minutes. As I drove away the check pressure light came on so I headed back and it was taken care of within minutes. Staff was courteous about it and asked me to come right away if it turned on again. Thankfully it didn't (: highly recommend this place! read more

I had a nail in my tier and they put in a new plug patch free of charge. The took off my spare and put on the new tier for me as well. They also checked my tier pressure for me. I really appreciated Jose and Zachary's hard work. They have definitely won a new customer. read more

I got an oil change, a tire rotation, and my front breaks changed. The front desk customer service representatives were kind and answered all of my questions. Time-wise they're efficient in getting things done, and their prices are reasonable. (I did my homework and called other places.) Waiting area is comfortable and spacious. Took my car in for brakes and was quoted a very fair price. They took my car immediately in and within 5 minutes Gene (Service Writer) told me I did not need brakes it was just low on brake fluid. They topped it off and put air in my tires and I was out the door at a cost of "nothing". They have earned my continued business as it is the most honest shop I've ever dealt with. read more

On Labor Day my family was driving from AZ to LA when we lost three lugs on a front tire while closest to Indio. Frantically we tried to get help but all places were closed due to the holiday. We called every tire place in Indio. I did not leave any messages, but the next day Daniel's Tire Service used caller ID and called me back to make sure I was able to get help. I was visiting a friend in Indio last weekend and noticed I was leaking something in my friends driveway and thought it might be oil. I literally had my oil changed 1 week prior with my regular mechanic. I called and spoke with Robert and told me to come over and he would check it for me at no charge. I went over and he jacked up my car, checked under and said all was ok. I had actually called another place who was going to charge me $39 to inspect. Thank You Robert!!! read more

Daniels Tire Service started business in 1911. Today, it has grown into one of the largest full-service tire dealerships in the West. Daniels Tire Service is a family owned 4th generation Goodyear dealer specializing in tire sales & automotive service. Besides our family friendly culture, we offer a highly trained group of technicians that are known to provide dealership level quality of service at competitive prices.

History

Established in 1911.

Originally known as Whittier Vulcanizing, Daniels Tire Service was founded in 1911, by R.F. Daniels. The one man operation gradually grew, and in 1929 Arden G. Daniels assumed control of the company. Ten years later, 1939, he established a business relationship with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, a relationship that still exists today. The company operates 7 commercial truck tire centers, 9 automotive service centers, and a Goodyear retread plant. The business is still family owned, with a fourth generation of the Daniels family entering the business in 1993.

This morning i left the house in such a hurry, as i was on my way to my 8:00 am appointment for an oil change, i called Daniel's Tire Service when i realized i had forgotten my wallet lmao . An employee answered my phone call & i asked if they accept Apple Pay ... "oh F**k!" was my first reaction (they do not accept apple pay btw, so make sure you have a backup plan! ha ... thankfully i did).... Hector had answered that call & i'm GLAD he has humor lol. I travel for work and was experiencing a slow leak in one of my tires. I stopped at two prior service facilities, one in Torrance the other in Indio, prior to stopping at Daniels Tire Service. Hector Nuno took the time to inspect the tire from the inside to find a small nail causing the slow leak. The technician plugged the leak at no charge. Overfeed fat Mexicans work here. Creepy illegals named Jermain, Hector and Jose. Was told I needed new filters, even though just replaced them all (air, oil and fuel) and showed them the receipt.
